Good Morning Confident One!

Jeremiah 17:7 NKJ ~ “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.”

The call for today is for you to put all of your faith and trust in God for He is your shelter in the time of storm, a very present help in the time of trouble and your refuge and strength in times of weakness! You can believe this Word!

This scripture speaks of two types of people? One that trust in human beings or the One who trust in the Lord? Which one are you?

The people of Judah trusted in false gods and other alliances instead of in God; and because of their choices they were small, insignificant and unfruitful. When you trust in anything other than God, you will be malnourished and spiritually and physically weak in your time of trouble, you will not have any strength to draw on.

But those of you that trusted in the Lord will grow and flourished like the trees planted by the rivers of water (see Psalm 1). You will have an abundance of strength and not only will you be able to take care of your needs, but you will have enough strength to help somebody else!

So, are  you living in an unfruitful drought, or are like a well-watered tree that has strength? Trusting God means that you have accepted His blessing on you and you have asked Him to to help you to bear fruit and be fruitful! Can’t you see that It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man any day (Psalm 118:8). In every scripture in the Bible you can see where you had to put your Trust in God and not lean to your own understanding, because it will lead you wrong, (Proverbs 3:5-6). You have got to acknowledge God in all your ways so that He can direct your path! You want the truth, seek for your safety and security in God!

Trusting God does not mean that you are in denial of truth or your tests and trials, but you trust and praise Him because of this, knowing that He is in control! You praise Him differently despite this, as my friend said yesterday in prayer, “In Spite Of…”, I’m going to trust God! So, get a “In Spite Of”, praise on and place that test and trial before God and see what your testimony will be, (you will have a testimony, trust and believe that! And another that I heard in our Bible training, “put a demand on God’s Word, it will come to pass, trust and believe, have confidence in Him and His Word)!

When your trust is in the Lord your God, the winds may blow, the rain may pour, the storm may rage, the violent waves may beat against you, but you will not be moved for your feet are secure and planted like a tree by the rivers of water and you shall not be moved! Always be confident and remember that you are blessed because you have put your trust in the Lord, and you have your hope grounded in the Lord!

Let’s Pray:
Father, I Thank You for Your faithfulness to me in all things. Father, I’m putting all of my trust and hope in You and Your Word! Father I am acknowledging You, for I repent for every time I trusted someone or something over You, after Your Word warned me not to put my trust in anyone or anything else, for there is no help in them (Psalm 146:3). I have learned to acclaim You in all things! I know that all of my help, healing, needs and desires come from You! Father, I know that You are my Lord and Savior, and You are faithful and true to Your Word, I trust Your Will for my life, today and always. Father I Thank You that Your roots go deep down inside of me and I can flourish and grow because I’m being nourished by You and Your Spirit. Because I’m connected to Your Vine, I will bear the fruit, and operate in the fruit of the Holy Spirit every day. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Blessings…
Minister Jean
