Good Morning Sunshine! Is The Word of God Like A Fire To You?

Jeremiah 20:9 AMP ~ If I say, “I will not remember Him Or speak His name anymore,” Then my heart becomes a burning fire Shut up in my bones. And I am weary of enduring and holding it in; I cannot endure it [nor contain it any longer].”

Sometimes you just have to repeat a word, (this is a repeated word, that we all need to hear)! I just can’t keep the Word of God to myself, I have to share it with everyone that I meet. His Word is like a Fire that you just can’t keep to yourself, you have to let it out! In the words of my grandmother, “there is more room out than it is inside.” Share your testimony with someone else, don’t just keep it to yourself, somebody needs to hear your story! In this hour, you cannot afford to keep silent, you have to speak the word that God has put on the inside of you, even if you have to suffer for a little while. God’s Word has to get out, it has to reach others that they might be saved. If you have been holding the word in and you feel heat, it’s the fire of God’s Word wanting to come out!

Do you have a yearning in for the Word of God? Does your heart burn when you think about the Word of God? Do you have a heart for the Word of God? Is the Word of God burning in your heart? All these questions are different but the one thing that is the same about them is, “Do you have a heart for God?” It’s called Passion for God’s Word and He put it on the inside of you before you were even formed! When you experienced this kind of fire in your heart you just can’t keep it to yourself, you have to share it! Free yourself by speaking what Thus says the Lord!

Because of the fire that is on the inside of you, you will run into challenges and sometimes it may feel like you are being rejected and attacked on every side because of your obedience and faithfulness to God’s Word. But hang in there, God knows, Job 23:10, “But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.” I know that things may be hard during times, and you may even want to abort the mission that God has sent you on, but hold on, God will give you exactly what you need, He got you. Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Hang in there, God knows, God sees, and God is going to take care of you. When you are concerned about His Word, He will be concerned about what you are concerned about. When you speak the Word of God, God watches over it to perform exactly what it is supposed to do!

God has a purpose for you, and you can’t run from it or ignore it any longer, that is why it feels like a burning fire shut up in your bones; so that you won’t keep it to yourself, you have to let it out! The Lord’s Presence is real in your life and the burden of His message is strong, and you cannot resist telling someone about Him, somebody needs to hear God’s Word from you! You must continue striving, speaking and serving God, regardless of how you feel or the consequences you will face! God is not moved by our emotions, but He is moved by the posture of your heart in prayer!

The fire in your bones is to fulfill your divine mandate from God! When the fire of the Holy Ghost is burning violently on the altar of your heart, you will rise up with holy power and boldness that will cause commotion in the camp of the enemy that has tried you. As a matter of fact, the Power that God has given you will cause the enemy to run in the opposite direction when you pass by. And your mouth is so full of fire that if the wrong kind of spirit tries to follow you, and they will be silenced by the Fire of God immediately in Jesus Name!

When this kind of the fire is burning on the inside of you; you just can’t keep it to yourself no matter what they say or do, you’ve got to let it out or it will consume you! Ask God for your next thought, that you may speak exactly what He wants you to speak! You have someone’s word on your lips, release it, that you may be released! His Word will bring good to you and Glory to His Name!

Let’s Pray:

Thank You God for the fire of the Holy Ghost. I surrender my mouth, mind and body to You. Fill me with Your Word and Power today.  Lord, please keep me on task and use me for Your assignment. Let the Fire of Holy Ghost Power lead me to do even greater things for Your Kingdom. Let every word that comes out of my mouth be full of Your fire and impact all who hears it, including me, as I read Your Word out loud. Lord let me never be the same, let me be changed by the Fire and Power of Your Word in Jesus Christ Name. Amen!!!

Today, read and pray out loud that you may hear yourself, then ask God for the Fire of His Holy Power to take control and then you just watch what God does!
