1 Thessalonians 5:24 KJV ~ “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
1 Thessalonians 5:24 NLT ~ “God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”
1 Thessalonians 5:24 AMP ~ “Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you [to Himself for your salvation], and He will do it [He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own].”
I needed you to read this scripture in more than one translation!
And yet, after all that life brings me, I know of only one thing that is sure and for certain and that is God is Faithful and He always will be Faithful!
What is Faith? Faith is not about your inclinations or feelings! Faith is what you believe about God! You can never have much faith, if you are searching for something better than what you have, then you are in the right position to exercise your faith. You must have a strong conviction of what you do not see, you can’t just want something better you have to be aware and believe with every fiber of your being that there is something else better for you! Now that is your Faith! Hebrews 11:1,6 NIV ~ “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see; [6] And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Has God been Faithful to you? Does His mercies endure forever? Faithful is God’s Character, you don’t have one with the other, “Faithful is Our God”, “God is Faithful”, you see no matter how you put it, God and Faithful go together.
Are you truly aware of what is surrounding you? You are surrounded by an invisible kingdom, something greater, and that which is seen is not the whole picture, there’s more to your life, there are realities and blessings which you cannot see or touch right now, but they are as real as what you see right now in the natural and they are vital to your life! Where is your faith? Nothing in this life is for certain, there are so many unknowns and sometimes it may seem a little frightening. BUT I have learned one thing, no matter what, “GOD IS FAITHFUL!” If you think God will always lead you on easy paths, you would be tempted to give up and turn your backs on Him. I don’t know what the circumstances in your life are right now, but just let go and hold on to God’s hands.
I have a few questions for you today, are you a man/woman of faith? Where is your confidence? Do you have a hunger and desire for something better in your life? Are you really ready to commit yourself to a lifestyle and lifetime of faith and to accept His Word as “The Truth” despite the cries of what you don’t see right now? Do you have faith? Pray for God to increase your faith! Today, you can grow in your faithfulness to God by working on your personal relationship with Him. When you are truly faithful to Him and obey His commands, faithfulness will be evident in your lives. God is here, right now and He won’t let you go. He is directing your path, and He will lead you to victory.
God is blowing my mind with how Faithful He is and all I can tell you is what I know for certain and that is, God is Faithful! And I am Grateful!
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank You for Your gift of faith, I need You and my faith to make it! Lord increase my faith, I desire to love on You and to trust You for the things that I don’t see but I know that they are there. Father, give me faith like a child to believe and follow and trust You every day. Father I bless Your Name for what you have done in my life today, nobody else could do what You do! Father, I know that this is You, because there is no other way this could be so! Father increases my faith, strengthen me when I am weak for, I know that when I am weak You are strong. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10! I will testify of the Goodness of the Lord every chance I get. In Jesus Christ Mighty! Amen.
Blessings…
Minister Jean
