Isaiah 43:18-19,25 NIV
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. [19] See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. [25] “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”
What does perceive mean? To become aware or conscious of something, to discern.
God is paving the way for you through everything, the wilderness, rivers and streams, He has you covered. The only thing you need to know is that God did it because He loves you! Open your Bible and see it for yourself. Did you read it? You no longer have to remember who you use to be, or what you use to do, it’s over, you are free to start again! Everything is new, brand new, He has blotted out your transgressions for His sake! Say it to yourself out loud, I’m Free and I’m New!
You can forget about all of that old stuff; you don’t have to rehearse it anymore! You said that you repented to God, He has forgiven you and forgotten about it too, it’s in the sea of forgetfulness, Micah 7:19! Your Father has given you a makeover, you don’t have to remember your former ways, God has given you a new and clean heart, right thinking and obedience, a new way of living and a new talk, a new walk, new courage and, a positive attitude with unsinkable faith!
Today, can you perceive the New You? A turning is taking place, ahead of schedule in your life! So, be intentional, God has made the way for you to embrace the New! He has you covered and the only thing that you need to have in your mind, is that Jesus Christ loves you, this you know because the Bible tells you so! John 3:16. Free your heart, let go of the old and embrace God’s new for you!
I was going through some papers the other day and I found a candy wrapper that I saved from Dove candy, and it is so fitting for today’s scripture, on the inside of the wrapper these words were penned, “Inhale the future and exhale the past.” Does this speak volume to our scripture? God is doing a New thing! Can’t you perceive it? Here’s the one thing that you have to do, release all the old, you can’t stay in your old place and want to be in your new place! God said it best, “Don’t remember the former things, not the old ways either, because I’m going to do a new thing for you. (paraphrased).”
From this day forward remind yourself of who you are in Christ Jesus, and don’t let anyone bring back or talk about your past! You are a new creature, old things have passed away, and all things are new, 2 Corinthians 5:17! Don’t look back, and don’t go back, you don’t need it anymore, you are New and Free, you just have to see yourself in the New Place!
Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father, for my brand-new season! Father thank You for taking away the former things and the things of old. Father thank You for making a way in the rivers and streams and making every crooked place straight. Father, lead and guide me as I navigate through this brand-new season! Help me to stay connected to You as my Source, instead of trying to do it on my own! Father, I’m putting all of my trust in You, for this is where all of my hope, healing and happiness comes from! Thank You for a brand-new day to worship and serve You! Open an opportunity for me to share Your Word with someone who does not know You for themselves and draw them to You by Your love, just like You did for me. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen!
Blessings…
