Matthew 13:43 AMP ~ “Then THE RIGHTEOUS [those who seek the will of God] WILL SHINE FORTH [radiating the new life] LIKE THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears [to hear], let him hear and heed My words.”
Can you hear God speaking to you today? I need you to listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you today and not only listen but obey what He is saying! Did you know that Jesus said that you were the “Light of the World” (scripture) and you are to shine as bright as the sun!
As you start your day go outside and look up at the sky. Let the colors of the sun show forth and it covers and stretch across a clear blue sky, and this is the most beautiful masterpiece that one’s could eyes can ever behold! It’s a breathtaking reflection of God’s love for you!
As you live a life of righteousness, a Christian life, you are becoming more and more radiant and brighter as you grow closer to Jesus Christ. When you follow God, trusting and listening to Him and conforming to His ways you will continue growing in His Spirit. You are striving in love and your desire is to receive all the promises of God and to shine like the sun in the kingdom of Our Father.
Even on the gloomiest days, the sun will rise. It might be slow, but you can be sure of it, it’s coming, it may be hidden behind the covers of the clouds that are painted gray, but the sun is definitely there, every morning! Every day we wake up to the sunrise, that reflects our time to work and then we go to sleep with the sunset, it denotes rest, and it happens day in and day out.
Let’s Pray:
Jesus, teach me today how to let my light shine bright and to draw closer to You. As the flowers blossom and smile when the sun lays it glow on them, help me to grow in righteousness, and shine forward, flourishing in love towards one another. Lord, teach me to conform to Your teachings and become brighter and brighter until I shine like the sun in the Kingdom of Your Father. In Jesus Christ Holy Name. Amen
Blessings…
