Revelation 19:13-14 NKJV ~ “He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.”
After you have read these verses, if you are a true believer of Jesus Christ, there should be no doubt or questions about who He is, The Blood, nor The Name of God! For, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1! Everything points you back to God!
Jesus is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His Name is the Word of God! For the believers who had come out of the Great Tribulation had their robes washed in the blood of the Lamb and made them white! For Christ himself, when He rides to the earth on the white horse, will be dressed in a robe dipped in blood.
The Name given for Christ, is the Word of God. In the Greek, the word for “Word” is logos, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1. Jesus is the final word of God, the voice of God himself, the revealer of God!
The blood is significant and represents life that has been given and sacrificed. The Blood of Jesus has washed you and cover your old life with His new, spotless life. Because of what Jesus did, His Blood dissolved your guilt and shame and is protecting you from the snare of the enemy.
Jesus Christ has an army that will be following Him on white horses, they will be clothed in fine linen, white and clean, because they are believers who have been saved by the Grace of God through their faith in Him! When you choose God, you choose all of Him because when He comes back in His Glory, you will be with Him in His Glory. “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. [4] When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:3-4. This is your praising moment, To God Be The Glory, for He is coming back, and He is going to take you with Him!
In order for you to live this life you need to deny your flesh and seek after God with all of your heart while the blood is still running warm in your veins, because when the blood flow stops, you stop! God is saying, look at who and what you are now, and who and what you are going to be when He comes back, then, for heaven’s sake, act like it now! (Meaning, don’t let who you are now trip you up and miss out on who you were predestined to be from the beginning.) You need to flush your flesh with your faith in God! He knew you first, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.” Colossians 1:17.
You need to live each day that God affords you in an expectation of His return. For nobody’s knows the day nor the hour, so it would be in your best interest to keep that day in the forefront of your mind. This way you are always ready! “Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Luke 12:40. Verse 11, starts off with what John saw, and he saw God coming, The Lord Jesus is coming back in full power and with great judgement. He is the incarnate Word, the Word of God made into flesh.
Jesus is clothed in a robe that has been dipped in blood, because He is the warrior of Warriors, He has come to destroy all of your enemies at one, for one and for all! His robe was bloody even before He meets your enemy! How do you know that you are the victor when you go into battle? It’s because of how you are dressed. Jesus armies were not dressed for war, but they were dressed as followers of Jesus Christ, and they were going to be victorious because of Jesus! The Blood was necessary!
Let’s Pray:
Father, thank You, thank You and Thank You! Thank You for Jesus, for He is Your is Word made flesh. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit that convicts my heart and the heart of those who have not yet learned about You, and especially those who have not put their trust in You yet! Father, have Mercy on me. Father please fulfill Your plans and purposes for Your Glory in my life. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Blessings…
Love, Minister Jean
