Good Morning Sunshine! God Delights In Redeeming You!

Jude 1:24 NKJV ~ “To present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy…”

What kind of God doesn’t just save you, but celebrates you? What kind of love takes a scarred life and transforms it into something worthy of joy? Jude reminds us that the God who keeps you, is the same God who presents you, is also the God who rejoices over you with exceeding joy. This isn’t a passive, quiet gladness, it’s an overwhelming, abundant, overflowing joy. It is the kind of joy that leaps, dances, and delights. The word used here conveys an image of celebration beyond words. That is how your Father feels about you.

So many of you carry the weight of not feeling like we’re enough. You wrestle with insecurities, past sins, hidden shame, and public failures. You think God might love you in theory, but you imagine He does so with a sigh, barely tolerating you. But the scripture completely dismantles that lie. God is not reluctantly presenting you before His Glory. He is doing it with exceeding joy. That means He’s not frowning, He’s rejoicing. He’s not shaking His head; He’s lifting His hands in praise over your life. You are not a disappointment; you are a display of His Mercy.

This joy isn’t because you did everything right. It’s because Jesus did everything necessary. The Father sees the finished work of Christ every time He looks at you. The Savior’s Blood covers you, and His righteousness clothes you. When God rejoices over you, He’s rejoicing over the beauty of His Grace reflected in your life. Every time He calls you “redeemed,” joy echoes in eternity. Every time you get up again, heaven applauds. Every time you choose faith over fear, worship over worry, obedience over opinion, He rejoices!

Even in your weakness, He celebrates your progress. Even in your pain, He delights in your surrender. His joy is not in your performance; it’s in your position. You are in Christ. You belong to Him. And He takes joy in calling you His own. That truth silences the accuser. That joy breaks shame’s grip. That divine delight lifts the head of the weary and speaks life into the soul of the broken.

You were never meant to walk through salvation as though you were barely making it in. You were called to walk boldly as sons and daughters who bring joy to the King. And this joy doesn’t end at salvation, it continues daily, moment by moment, as He watches you become what He already declared you to be: blameless, beloved, chosen, whole.

Let your heart receive that today. Let it settle into your bones. God rejoices over you. You are His joy. And that joy is not fragile, it is eternal. It is not circumstantial, it is covenant. And when you walk into His Presence, you are not interrupting, you are invited. He’s been waiting to celebrate you all along.

Let’s Pray:

Father, Thank You! Father today, I come to You not just as a servant, but as a child You take joy in. You are not a distant King, You are my Abba, my Defender, my Deliverer, and my Protector. You don’t merely allow me near Your Presence, You draw me in with joy. Thank You, Lord, for delighting in me when I struggled to delight in myself. Thank You for singing over me when I sat in silence, thinking I was unworthy. Thank You for celebrating me as Your own, when others discarded me as if I were nothing. You have given me a name, a seat at the table, and a place in Your heart, and I am overwhelmed. God, I confess that I haven’t always seen myself the way You see me. I’ve lived under the weight of shame too long. I’ve allowed fear to muffle Your joy. But today, I shake off the lie that You’re disappointed in me. I receive the truth that You rejoice over me. I receive the reality that You look at me and smile. That You take exceeding joy in presenting me. That the grace You gave wasn’t reluctant, it was overflowing. That the mercy You extended wasn’t minimum, it was multiplied. Let this joy You have become my source of strength. Let it infuse my bones, my decisions, my worship, and my words. When the enemy tries to remind me of who I was, let Your joy remind me of who I am. When guilt creeps back in, let Your joy push it out. When life tries to quiet my confidence, let Your joy resound louder than my fears. You, Lord, are the lifter of my head, and today I lift my hands in return. I celebrate the joy You have in me, not because I deserve it, but because You are good. Father, I want to walk like someone who brings You joy. I want to love like someone who is loved by You. I want to live like someone who is accepted and affirmed by the King of kings. Make my life a mirror of Your gladness. Let others see in me the reflection of a God who doesn’t just save, but rejoices. Let my testimony become a trumpet of praise to the One who never gave up on me. And on the days, I forget, remind me. On the days I fall short, remind me again. On the days when darkness tries to crowd out the light, remind me that joy came looking for me and never let go. To You, the God of all joy, the One who presents me with delight, the One who celebrates my redemption, I give You all the praise, all the glory, and all the worship. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!

Blessings…

Love, Dr. Jean…
