Scripture: Jude 1:25 NKJV ~ “To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.”
The Glory of God’s keeping power doesn’t end with what He does for you; it leads you into worship for who He is. Jude’s doxology ascends to its highest note in verse 25, anchoring you in the truth that God is not only powerful, but Wise. He is not simply a Rescuer or a Presenter, He is the All-Knowing, Ever-Guiding, Sovereign Savior whose wisdom surpasses understanding. “To God our Savior, who alone is wise…” This is not just a poetic closing, it is a revelation of the divine intelligence that governs every step of your story.
The phrase “Who alone is Wise” is a direct reminder that no one else holds the full view. No one else sees the end from the beginning. No one else can take the scattered pieces of your journey and compose a perfect symphony out of them. While you may offer opinions, insights, or instincts, God alone holds wisdom. Human understanding can only go so far. But divine wisdom? It is eternal! It is flawless! It is tailor-made for the path you are called to walk on. And the beauty of God’s wisdom is that it’s not just intellectual, it’s intimate!
His Wisdom covers the moments you do not understand. It surrounds the seasons you feel delayed. It fills the gaps in the middle of your becoming. When you look at your life and wonder why certain doors closed or why certain answers never came, this verse is here to remind you that God alone is Wise. His Wisdom is not confined to what you can comprehend, it moves beyond your logic and into the divine timeline of destiny. Even when it feels like nothing is happening, He’s orchestrating everything for His Glory and your good.
This wisdom is not distant or cold. It is active. It is present. It is shaping you in the silence and maturing you in the mystery. When you feel stuck between promise and manifestation, God’s wisdom is still writing your story. The valleys, the detours, the delays, all are under the Dominion of His Wise and Sovereign Hand. He has never made a mistake. Not with your life. Not with your calling. Not with your journey. Even what the enemy meant for evil, He has already woven into the tapestry of your triumph for your good.
And so, Jude responds to this revelation not with analysis, but with adoration, Be glory and majesty, dominion and power. These aren’t just attributes, they are divine realities. His Glory isn’t just what shines from Him, it’s what transforms you. His Majesty isn’t just heavenly, it’s here and now. His Dominion isn’t just over kingdoms; it reigns over chaos. His Power isn’t just for miracles, it’s for moments where you need strength to keep believing.
To declare that glory, majesty, dominion, and power belong to Him forever is to rest in the truth that nothing is beyond His reach, and no season is outside His control. You are not at the mercy of chance or circumstance. You are being led by the Only Wise God, who is both your Savior and your Sovereign. He doesn’t just deliver you; He defines you. He doesn’t just help you; He holds you.
So today, trust the wisdom of God over the worry of man. Trust the rhythm of Heaven over the rush of earth. Trust that His Wisdom didn’t forget you, and His Dominion hasn’t lost track of you. His Majesty still covers you, and His Glory still marks you. If He brought you this far, it’s only because there’s more ahead, crafted by Wisdom, carried by Grace, and crowned with Glory.
Let’s Pray:
Father, You are Holy and All-Wise, You alone sit high above it all and yet dwell intimately with me. You know the path before I take a step. You know the weight I carry before I find the words to pray. And today, I declare that I trust You; not just with the outcome, but with the in-between. Not just with the breakthrough, but with the process. I rest in Your Sovereignty, and I worship in the waiting. You are not confused by my confusion. You are not alarmed by my questions. You are not absent when the way seems hidden. You are wise, unshakably, unchangeably wise. And even when I can’t trace Your hand, I know I can trust Your heart. So, I lean in, Lord. I surrender the need to know everything and embrace the peace of knowing You. If I have You, I have enough. If I’m in Your will, I’m in the right place, even if it doesn’t yet look like the destination I imagined. Father, forgive me for every moment I tried to take control. For every time I demanded answers instead of resting in Your Presence. For the times I praised You on the mountain but doubted You in the valley. Lord, I choose trust today. I choose to worship the Only Wise God, the One who governs with mercy, speaks with power, and leads with grace. Father, I lift up every unanswered question, every unopened door, every painful memory, and I place it under Your dominion. I lift up every broken plan and ask You to breathe Your glory over it. Father, I place my past, present, and future under Your power. You reign in glory. You sit in majesty. And You rule in dominion, not just over galaxies, but over my heart. Be exalted, Lord. not just in what I understand, but in what I surrender. Let every delay be drenched in Your wisdom. Let every unknown be filled with Your presence. Let every waiting room become a worship room. I crown You as Wise, not because I see it all, but because You’ve seen it all and You still chose me. To You belong all Glory. To You belongs every Hallelujah. To You belongs every hidden moment that will one day make sense. You are Wise, and You are Worthy and I will trust You forever. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
Blessings…
Love, Dr. Jean
