John 14:26 ~ “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Have you ever been weary, can’t sleep, and you have a dozen of deadlines to meet, things to do and fix, and on top of this you have taken on the task of other’s responsibilities, problems and burdens and they expect you not to grow weary or get tired in the process? But after a while you start to realize that you are carrying too much luggage and you need to lighten your load. As I thought about everything that I carry this scripture came to me, Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

It’s like this, has a scripture ever just came to your mind and when you read it, you had read  to re-read it again and again, because you knew it was just what you needed to hear, and it was at that moment that you saw the light, this is what happened when I read Matthew 11:28 again, the “Come to Me” got my attention! Did you hear that, Jesus said, “COME TO ME!” At that moment I realized that I hadn’t given this stuff over to Him, I was weighing myself down trying to be everything for everyone. Have you ever done this? This scripture became the ointment for my soul, and when I truly processed these three words that Jesus said, “Come to Me” my load got lighter and the burdens rolled away, this is just like a Great Teacher, bring it to me and let me help you. Matthew 11:29-30, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy and my burden is light!” Do you need some help today, take it to Jesus, there is enough ointment for you, the Word of God is Ointment for your soul that only He can give you!

When you are going through something do you wonder how a scripture comes to your mind? Your Teacher, The Holy Spirit, reminds you. The Holy Spirit has one specific mission, to teach you! Your Father in Heaven knew that you would need some help, to teach you all things and will remind you of everything that He has said. Is this not great news? The Spirit of God has been and always will be present and moving in your life. When you Come to Him, you will find the revelation that you need, not just more information. Enter into His classroom and learn from Him, Matthew 11:29. He will reveal Himself to you and teach you new and wonderful things, things that you have never seen before!

Don’t fret yourself, you are not alone in this place, Psalm 34:7. Thanks be unto God, you have a Divine Helper, an Instructor, The Holy Spirit, is here to help you come through all the situations and challenges that you face when you let Him have His way in your life! Today, let the Holy Spirit in, begin your day with the words “I Welcome You, Holy Spirit!” and then make a conscious decision to walk in it today, since we are supposed to live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit through His Word, Galatians 5:25, NIV. Let the Spirit of God invade your heart and mind that you might be full and let the Word fill your mind and heart in this moment, so when you have to answer a question, you can ask the Lord to direct you, and He will give you the right response! Don’t burden yourself down by not giving it all to Him, somethings are just too heavy for you to carry day in and day out, Matthew 11:30! The Lord knows, take the balm that He made for your soul!

Good Morning Father, Thank You for this beautiful Tuesday! Today, Father I choose to operate with the mind of Christ that You have made available to me. Father, incline my ears to hear You speak as I enter this new class today with You. Thank You for teaching me how to cast everything on You, and for You leading me by Your Holy Spirit. Father, thank You for teaching me how to live and love like you. Thank You Father, for bringing every word and prayer that I need back to my remembrance when I need it. Thank You for showing me which way to go, I will follow Your directions. Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Isaiah 30:20-21 NKJ ~
“And though the Lord gives you The bread of adversity and the water of affliction, Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers. [21] Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand Or whenever you turn to the left.”

We live in a time of noise, there is noise and sounds everywhere, be it someone else or your own. To be silent is rare, and undervalued. Every day you are bombarded with voices of chaos, confusion, clutter, and complacency! But in the midst of all this noise. Can you hear the pin drop? Did you hear what He said to you?

There is a one voice that you can depend on, the Voice of God! A voice that you can be sure of, one that will break through all the barriers of noise and mess, one that will lift the fog off your mind, one that breaks up confusion, one that repairs and restore your heart, one that speaks clearly to you!

God has your back, and His Voice comes, inside, besides, behind, and in front of you and to cheer you. He’s there to cover and alert you of the forks, bumps, and crossroads that are on the road you’re traveling and alert you of the danger that is ahead, the enemies that are lurking and hiding in the bush, He’s covering you from it all! God wants to make sure that you can hear and listen for His Voice and to keep your course!

Today, God’s Voice is calling to you and telling you how to keep steady and true, when to turn and when to go straight. You don’t need to see the whole road, or journey, you just have to listen to the Voice on the path, it’s your Lord and Teacher, speaking continually to all you who will listen.

Do you hear Him? He’s saying I got your back! Which voice are you listening to today, yours are God’s?

Father, I Thank You today I am thankful for You having my back! I Thank You, that You never leave me in a place of confusion, but You remind to stop and listen for Your clear directions. I am grateful for Your steadfast Vouch that breaks through all of the noise and clutter in my life and speak clarity to my heart on my journey. I am grateful that noise the I hear does not stop You from revealing Yourself to me as my Teacher and that You are training my ears to hear that still small humble Voice of Yours over every other voice that I hear this in loud world. I am blessed and covered by You God, and I am grateful!

Colossians 3:1-3 AMP “Therefore if you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [2] Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value]. [3] For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.”

When you start out today, Look Up, see what God has put in the atmosphere for you today! Focus your mind on Jesus Christ! Remember the battle begins in your mind and the quicker you can take every thought captive in the Word of God the better you will be! (2 Corinthians 10:5)!

As a matter of fact, today you are in a new Position so need to have a new Perspective, for your new Purpose that was ordained in Your Father’s Presence! Today, there is a permanent change taking place in you and don’t worry if you don’t see anything moving on the outside, improvements always start on the inside first! You are being transformed from the inside out, moving from temporary to permanent, trust the process of God!

Today, you are aligning yourself with what God wants, you are concerned about what He wants, devotion and no more distractions and delays to what He has assigned for you to do! You are seeking His Presence, you want to be everywhere He is, no other place will do! God’s desires for you to have self control and be self-disciplined.

Remember who you belong to and who you are, know your identity! Know the four “R’s”, Renew, Recognize, Release and Replace!

Renew your thoughts in the Word of God, focus on the things above and not on earth, this is not your home, you are just passing through on your way to Heaven!

Recognize and acknowledge that the old you is dead and will not be resurrected, the change that you are looking for won’t happen if you keep trying to revisit old patterns!

Release the past, release the thoughts of shoulda, coulda and woulda, you can’t go back and fix anything, learn from it and keep it moving, keep it pushing. In the words of my dear friend, “No Looking Back”, you can’t look backwards and look up at the same time!

Replace all the old with new, a new transformed mindset, moving away from all old behaviors and activities. Remember God’s Word, you cannot put new wine in old wine skin, it won’t work. (Mark 2:22)! It’s time to move pass the old and walk into the new, you cannot make the old fit into the new, let it go and be who God called you to be!

You can Now look up and see God smiling at you!

Father, Thank You for redeeming me! Thank You Father for allowing me to look up and see You and what You are doing in my life. Father, today I am remembering what Your Word says to me and about me, I have been washed and renewed by the Blood of the Lamb. I recognize that I cannot do anything apart from You, and I’m repenting to You for all my sins, sins of omission and commission. I’m releasing everything that I thought was good in my sight and I’m surrendering to You and Your Way, for Your Way is the perfect way. I Thank You that You have replaced my old with the new for my good and for Your Glory. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!

Colossians 3:17 NKJ ~ “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

The questions below are for self-reflection, because either you are serving Jesus, or you are working for yourself and only you and God know the truth! You might can fool people sometimes about what you are doing, but you can’t fool Jesus anytime! Answer them honestly!

When someone asks you what do you do? What is your response? Do you answer with you or just this or just that? Do you measure your worth by what you do in the natural? Or by how high you have climbed the ladder of success? Or is it by what God says, I’m just asking, because His Word says that whatever you do, you are to do it in the Name of the Lord Jesus!

When your life on earth comes to an end, what you did outside of Jesus Christ won’t matter, so as you build a name for yourself remember that you are not saved by what you do, but by who you know (Titus 3:4-7). Only what you do for Christ will last (2 Corinthians 5:10)! Were you faithful to what the Lord called you to pursue, or did you pursue your calling? If you are following Jesus Christ, there should be some evidence of fruit in your life and not the fake fruit that is only good for display and not digesting! (John 15:1-17)!

We live in a society where everyone does what they want to do, no concern for the next person, but don’t you want to be like Jesus and live and do what He commanded. Today, don’t grumble, don’t whine, and don’t complain one to anyone or about anyone, trust Jesus to lead and guide you. Remember, that the Lord is your Master, you work for Him, work at it with all your heart just for Him, stop looking for man’s reward, you desire an inheritance, and that is so much more, Colossians 3:24! It is and always will be an honor to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Whatever You Do Today, Do It In The Name Of Jesus Christ!

Thank You Father for Your Grace and Mercy! Thank You for shining Your light on me and for cleansing me from all of my sins and washing me in the Word that I may do everything for You and Your Glory! Father please forgive me for when I sought man’s instant rewards and not your eternal inheritance! For I now know and accept You and everything that You desire to do through me and for me! I choose to walk in Your Word, Will and Way. Father, I want to serve You every day just because I love You! My Father, who art in Heaven, make each one that will lay their eyes on You and this devotional faithful to their calling, and help us to do all things that You have assigned to us in the Name of the Jesus Christ. Amen!

Ecclesiastes 1:9 NIV ~ “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”

The enemy has tried to bombard you from every angle he could think of from the east to the west, and from the north to the south, he has tried to move you with something new, to satisfy your fleshly desires, he wants you to believe that your wants are really your needs! Everything is designed to draw you away from God! But, The Word of God has given you a true way to know the difference. Just remember what God taught you in His Word, to be sober minded and watchful. Your adversary the devil is on the prowl, looking around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour, 1 Peter 5:8!

Life is a continuous cycle and there is nothing new under the sun. God does not change.  He was, He is and He is to come! (“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” John 1:1)! His promises are always as they were. There are no new rules, no new changes, just new players, God is always faithful and true, and He always will be! God has marked your life from the second you were thought about and the moment you surrendered to His love, is the second you changed and nothing about this has changed, you are connected to God!

When COVID tried to turn every country, state, city, county, neighborhood and household upside down, everyone started saying, this is the new normal! Even this was not new to God, His Word told you about these things happening, (Matthew 24:6-14). Read your Word! But as always when something out of the ordinary happens, you say it is overwhelming, no matter what it is, A new job. A new relationship. A new city. A new season. No matter what it is, and after you walk in it for a minute you consider it to be your new normal, even with all of this, there is nothing new under the sun, it may be new to you, but it’s not new to God!

There is nothing new, nothing you go through, nothing you feel, nothing you see, nothing you hear, no choice you make, no heartache, nothing, nothing, nothing is new to God! He knows all, sees all and hears all, from the beginning of time until now, nothing gets by Him or catches Him off guard, for He created everything that is and is to come! And He knows all the people in the world!

Today, I want you to stop and reflect on your own life, where you have been, what you have done, and how far you have come and see the timeline of the events which have shaped your life and who you are today, compare it to the Word and see what changed, what was new, was it you or the world? What has changed and who has changed? Once you see this and realize there is nothing new that has taken place, that you have experienced or will experience, do you see things now through His eyes or are you still seeing your perspective?

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Father, Thank! Father, Thank You for being a new changing God, You are the One constant and consistent person in my life. Father, Thank You for Your Word that is a daily reflection and reminder of who You are, I pray that I will be faithful and diligent in studying Your Word, that I may grow to be more like You. Father, I repent right now for looking at the world and trying to change things and areas of my life according to them, when I knew that I should have been lifting my eyes up to the You in heavenly places where Your Son is seated at Your right hand! Father, help me to be the same, to be like You, to be content in whatever place that I am in, (Philippians 4:11). Father, Thank You for Your goodness and for holding on to my hand and never letting me go. Father I know that I can put all of my hope and trust in You, for I know that You will never leave me nor fail me, (Deuteronomy 31:6), Thank You! Father, fill me with Your Presence today, pour love, patience, and wisdom in me and cover me with Your Peace. Father, I love You, I love You and I love You! I’m so grateful that You have never taken Your eyes or hands off of me. It’s in Your Presence that I see You are my Loving, Mighty, Steadfast, Unmovable God who will never ever changes and I’m grateful and thankful, and this is why I will praise and worship You all the days of my life!  In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

1 John 4:1-3 NKJ ~ “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. [2] By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, [3] and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”

You want to be able to tell if something or someone is of God! Know your Word! This scripture tells you exactly how to discern that, but you have to be ready to accept the truth!

So many times, we forget that God and the Holy Spirit teaches us constantly about how many other spiritual forces reside in our world and that we need to pay attention to them. We see them as distant and supernatural forces that are nowhere near us, but I want you to know that they are closer than you think, pay attention! These forces exist in your everyday life, racism and favoritism, just to name a few, but there are many more forces as in this the world and they go against everything that God stands against! Whatever God hates you should hate to, and He hates an evil spirit (Proverbs 6:16–19)!

So, God told you what you need to do, and He always gives clear instructions on how to do it. Let’s look at verses 2 and 3; this is how you can recognize the Spirit of God:
1. Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God.
2. But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.

God made this plan and simple, He didn’t use any big words, He wanted to make sure that you understood exactly what He was saying to you. Everything rests on Jesus. If the spirit acknowledges that Jesus is Lord and is from God, then you know it’s the truth. But, if the spirit fails to acknowledge Jesus, who is from God, then it’s not from God, but rather, is the “spirit of the antichrist.”

There is three things that you have to do to discern what is God and what is not. First, do not believe every spirit and study your Word to learn what it says, everything that sounds good isn’t good, Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” Sometimes what looks good is just poison wrapped up. Secondly, you must test the spirits and study your Word to learn what it says, every spirit should be ran through the Jesus test, false spirits are always trying to get you to believe and to put their false message into your heart so that you will say their lies their lies out of your mouth. You must test them against the Word of God. Thirdly, you must prevail over the false spirits and study your Word to learn what it says. In order to not believe the false spirits and believe the true Spirit of Jesus, it is a matter of a changed heart. (What does your heart reflect, the truth or a lie?)

Because of what Jesus did over 2,000 years ago, you don’t have to fight the battle, the war has been won and three days later, He was raised up and that same Spirit now lives inside of you and because of this you don’t have to fear any false spirit, for God has saved and protects you. Romans 8:11. We live in a spiritual world. But the supernatural is not always from God! You cannot believe everything that you hear! You can’t believe every spirit because some of them are liars, some you can tell right away and some try to dress it up, but God knows them all and He gave you His Word and His Spirit to help you discern them.

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father. Thank You for this brand-new day, Father, I desire more of You and Your Word. Father I want to be filled with Your Spirit like never before. Father I seek Your Wisdom and Understanding today, fill me with Your Power from on high. Father, help me to know Your Word over every word that I hear and that I will not follow the lie of the false. Father, I thank You for Your discernment and clarity to speak exactly what You say, and I thank You molding and preparing the heart of the person that You will put in my path today, may they receive the Your Word and believe in it that their lives be changed! Father, my heart is in a posture and position of prayer that I may be in Your Presence, day in and day out. Father I pray that Your Spirit will be imparted into me and others and that we will never be the same. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Psalm 61:2 NLT ~ “From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety.”

It’s the beginning of a new day and you have a laundry list as long as the Mississippi River to do and you have already forgotten to do the first thing. Now on top of that everyone needs you, the kids need you, your husband/wife needs you, your parents need you, your boss needs you, your friends need you, you believe that there needs to be two of you!

Sometimes you just need you to be you, you need a moment to meet with the Lord! You are now overwhelmed by all sorts of stuff, and you don’t know what to do, so you take off running! Running in the wrong direction, trying to get away, at least that is what you believe! You believe that what you are running from is unfixable, so you run and hide! The problem comes when you run away from Him and not into His arms, your place of refuge! God wants you to run to Him and He wants us to run to Him, to His Word which can settle and shelter you!

You may not be able to change all the things in your life that seems bigger than what you can handle, but whatever feels bigger than you is still small in comparison to the Rock that is higher than you! There is nothing bigger nor better than the Lord your God! Learn to run to God, to His Word right in the middle of what’s trying to stress you out! When you run to God’s Word, you will find that God is your “refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble” Psalm 46:1, NIV. When you run to Him, you will find out that your refuge is all you need, and this isn’t an escape from your stress but to a surrendering of you! Say it out loud, “God is my Refuge.” Your strength doesn’t come from you, it comes from the Lord and Him only!

He is my Rock, the Rock of my defense, Psalm 94:22 NKJ, “But the LORD has been my defense, And my God the rock of my refuge! So, when you run to His Word, you discover that His law is “your delight” and it protects you and keeps you from giving in, out, up and giving apart, Psalm 119:92! God really is who He says He is, He is the Rock that is stronger and higher than anything you will face! He is your Refuge and Shelter! Find yourself being sheltered in the truth of His Word and in the sanctuary of His Presence and seat back and watch everything that seems so big shrink down to the size of a pebble that you can throw in the lake to never see again!

God is your Refuge and your strong tower, Proverbs 18:10! When you seek His Word, it will give you the guidance that you need. God’s Presence gives you the peace you need to keep pushing forward! Today, if you feel like running, put your best pair of sneakers on and run for a too Jesus! Run into the arms of Jesus! He is Your Strength! He is your Rock! He is your Refuge! And He is waiting for you to shelter, settle and save you so that you can be safe!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Thank You for keeping me safe! Thank You for being my strong tower and place of refuge! Father, sometimes I get overwhelmed with all of the things that I have to do, and then I’m reminded to cast all of my cares, concerns and challenges on You and You take care of them, Thank You for taking care of me. Father please give me Your Strength and Peace when I’m in this place. Father, lead me to You, my rock. Guide me to Your Word for it gives me strength and refuge. Help me not to run to things that don’t matter, help me to keep first things first, You and Your Word! Father, draw nigh to me and draw me to run to You first. Father, help me to learn to give everything to You first and that I’m not overwhelmed, but I’m overjoyed because I have been overcome by the Word of the Lamb! Father, I’m placing everything at Your feet and under Your Will, for I know that You are my Rock, Refuge, Strong Tower and You will keep me safe from all harm and danger! In Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Nehemiah 6:3 NKJ ~ “So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”

First things First! It’s Repentance and Prayer Time! Repentance and Prayer is the mortar that is going to connect your bricks one by one as you rebuild your wall! Brick by brick, you will turn turning away from what has grieved your Father’s heart and it will be done by your fervency for intercessory prayer, to restore the hedge of protection that has been breached!

Yesterday, I shared with you the first part of what God had given me in 2019, “What Season” and today you know, and now it’s Time To Rebuild!” God is calling on intercessors to rise in the spirit of the Nehemiah Anointing and to pray and to not cease praying so that the hedge of protection can be rebuilt around your heart, home, ministry, community, state and nation! God is calling on you, who have taken a stand for true stand for God and who refuses to come down from the wall, the one who can discern the enemy’s plan and reject them, and who will complete the assignment that you have been called to complete! God want you to connect with other prayer warriors who are rebuilding and restoring to what the enemy has destroyed. It’s time to Rise Up and Pray! Rise Up and stand in the gap! Rise Up and make up the hedge! God is looking for those who of you who are willing to see His Plan accomplished in the land!

Do you have a heart for the people that are dying in the streets and in their sins? Nehemiah, he had a genuine heart for the people. His interest was born out of love. Is your interest born of concern or curiosity? When really care about someone you want to know all the facts, no matter how hard it may be to face it. There is one sure thing about a “Fact” it doesn’t cease because you ignored it. Do you really want to know the facts? Or do you think it’s going to be a problem for you? Do you really care enough to ask? In this season you cannot close your eyes and ears to the truth of what is happening. When you ignore it, you are making the first step toward tragedy for yourselves as well as for those around you. You need to be like Nehemiah and be ready to face the facts about a situation even when it’s not what you want to see! Think about it this way, you should not just look at your own interest, but also the interests of others!

Has anything that’s been going on in the land caused you to stop and to sit down and weep? Caused you to fast and pray and to stand in the gap for someone else? Nehemiah and his intercessors welted over the condition of the walls, and they mourned for days and then they fasted and prayed before the God of heaven (Neh. 1:4). They went to God in repentance, not for themselves but for the nation. Ask God what He wants you to do. Go to God in prayer, He will give you a plan, process and timeline to complete the task. He will give you directions and what you need to work with. When you seek God on behalf of someone else, His favor shows up for you!

As an intercessor for this project, you will have to face some opposition, but don’t worry God has prepared you for this! There will be unbelievers and believers who will try to distract and or change your course because they don’t understand, they will try to ridicule you because of your stand. Don’t stop, remember they tried Jesus, (Matthew 27:27-31) so you should know that they are going to try you! Keep it moving, keep it pushing! You will have confidence and be confident in the work that you are doing, can’t you hear your Father saying, “Rise Up and Build, for your hands have been strengthened for the good work that you are performing!” Nehemiah was determined to rebuild the walls around Jerusalem. When the Son’s and Daughter’s, (you and me) operate in this spirit, we can rebuild what the enemy has torn down. When Nehemiah rebuilt the wall, there was no gap in it (Neh. 6:1). When you as an intercessor truly stand in the gap for the people and be determined to pray, you will be a part of closing prayer will the gaps in the wall!

As an intercessor you have to be willing to pray day and night, you need a “Nevertheless Mindset”, Nehemiah 4:9, “Nevertheless we prayed to our God, and, because of them, we set up a watch for them day and night.” You have to be consistent and persistent in your prayer life  to see the breakthrough and you cannot be afraid to fight in this season! God will grace you to hold your weapon (The Sword of the Spirit, The Word, Ephesians 6:17-20) and your tools at the same time, you can work with one hand and hold your weapon in the other! You will be successful in doing the Lord’s Work! (Nehemiah 4:17-18; 23)! Pray, pray and pray some more, pray until Revival comes and don’t stop praying when it comes. This Revival will turn into a transformed life (Galatians 5:1)! God is calling you into intercession in this season, the warfare is real, but the rewards are even greater from your Father. Stand Up, for the next generation! Who will Rise Up and Rebuild the Walls in Prayer?

Read and study all of Nehemiah, may the Nehemiah Anointing become your daily portion!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Today, I’m offering up prayer on your behalf, and I want you to do the same thing for someone else. God has equipped you to be a prayer intercessor and we need to pray for one another as our Father has taught us! And let’s not offer a selfish prayer but, pray that all would come to know Jesus Christ, repent, turn from their wicked ways, surrender to Him, and seek His face daily!

Today, I come to You right now on behalf of every one that will see, hear and pray this prayer. First, I repent of all my sins, and I ask You to forgive me, so that the prayer that I’m praying right now will not be hindered but will smell like a sweet incense unto You. Father, I lift up my brothers and sisters to You, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be refresh in their, spirit, soul and body. Father, guide them along the right paths for Your Name’s sake as they stand in the gap and rebuild their walls. I pray that when they walk through the darkest valley, they will fear no evil, for You are with them; Your rod and Your staff will uplift, comfort and bless them, In Jesus Christ Name! Father, I declare peace and joy in the hearts of Your people! I proclaim that You will bless Your children and will keep them; You will make Your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them! I pray against all the plans of the enemy that would try to steal their joy and peace from You! Father, I’m praying everyone that will read this devotional today and all other days, in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit! Amen!

1 Chronicles 12:32a KJV ~ “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.”

In early 2019, I did a study on the Issachar Anointing and today I was led to share it with you! It’s Time to be sure of what you know and what season that you are in! 

The Sons of Issachar knew what season it was, and they operated accordingly. Their father was given a spiritual ability from Lord to discern the seasons and time and he modeled it and taught to his offspring! Others were aware of it, and they came to inquire as to the ‘season’, and they came asking for guidance as to which course of action they should take to prosper, and which would not.

Why is it still important for the Issachar anointing to be relevant today? Because knowledge brings rewards. The meaning of a name is important (what you call yourself and what you answer to is different). Issachar’s name meant, “he will bring reward, man for hire” to know or to ascertain by seeing. The Hebrew word “know” in this verse is “yada”, which is word that means God gave you a personal understanding and revelation, of who He is, and you didn’t come to know this from reading a book, you got it through revelation from God Himself! (Matthew 16:17)! By virtue of the name, you are walking into in your calling and your character is a reflection that you are working in the vineyard for the Lord! 

Now that you have received revelation from God your mind is able to mentally distinguish between that which is wise and unwise, that which is true and false, and that which is good and bad. You are pursuing daily a better understanding of what is needed to live well before the Lord! The Issachar men and women have received understanding from the Lord himself, because they sought Him daily and they know God in an intimate way! How’s your time with God looking? Do you spend quality time, or do you do Drive By’s? They were are able to see an opportunity and know when the moment was right to seize that same opportunity and to be victorious! 

This type of Anointing needs to be sustained daily through revival! This Anointing births Kingdom Son’s and Daughter’s who are able to find wealth and offer it back as a sacrifice to God. What are you offering to God today to bless somebody else with? You want to be wiser in this season, get closer to God, be strategic and straightforward in your thinking. It is not enough for you to just to go to church an occupy space on the bench, you need to be an active disciple. It’s time to move from the inactive list to the active list, it’s time to get busy! God is calling you to come forward! It’s time out for trying to hide your light, you are the light of the world, (Matthew 5:14-16) let it shine and shine brightly for all to see! It’s time to show God that you are a good steward over what He gave you to do, you are not a selfish servant! 

The Issachar Anointing must be continued through you so that our next generation that is born will walk in it and we will see miracles, signs and wonders, you are to reproduce fruit, “Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you. “John 15:16! So, what type of fruit are you bearing, good or bad? 

Today, you need to be able to discern what God is doing and be able to run with Him in this season. So, I have three questions to ask you and only you can answer them, you will have to sit with God to get the answers. 

1. What season is it now?
2. What season are you in now?
3. What season do you want to be in now?

As for me, I want to be in a season where I’m bolder for Jesus Christ, a season where I’m in His Throne Room sitting at His feet and listening, learning and living for Him. I don’t want to waste time with idle talk, I want to see what God is doing around the world and how I can be a part of it. It’s time to go into the chambers with God and be true! It’s where you will learn more about His Anointing and how to pass it to your next generation so that they can have a future! It’s time for you to make a difference in someone’s life. It’s time for you to influence someone with the knowledge and revelation of God! 

Let’s Pray:

Father Thank You! Thank You for allowing me to be a part of this time in history! Father, whatever You are doing in this season, don’t do it without me, Father include me in on Your plans, You lead and I will follow. Father fill me with Your discernment and discipline that I will know what season that I am in, and I will know how to pray and prepare accordingly. Father, I don’t have a plan B, C, or D, I’m fully operating on plans “G (God) and J (Jesus),” for I know that there is Power in Your Name (Philippians 2:10-11) and all I have to do is call You and You will answer me, (sometimes even before I finish, You have sent the answer, Isaiah 65:24). Father, help me discern the times when to speak and when to be silent, help me to speak Your Word, don’t add and don’t take anything away, (Deuteronomy 4:2 & Revelation 22:18-19) for Your Word is the truth and it will last forever and ever. Father, fill me with Wisdom, that I may be sharp and spiritually accurate, and that I know what to do and when I ought to do it. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Philippians 1:19-20 NKJ “For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, [20] according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. [21] For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

It’s Time to live, it’s Time to live for Jesus Christ. You want to hear servant well done, (Luke 19:17 “Well done, my good servant!’ his master replied. ‘Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities.”) In order to hear this you need to start serving well now! You want to make a conscious choice to live now that you may live again!

The Spirit of Jesus Christ will help you to live for Him in every way, every day you just have to ask Him. You can be certain and have confidence that the power of the Holy Spirit will lead you to your deliverance, be it through life or through death! Either way it goes, life or death it’s Jesus Christ for me!

The Holy Spirit gives you boldness for what you need for the day-to-day hustle and bustle that you face. Don’t try to worry about tomorrow, it has enough trouble in its own, (Matthew 6:34). The Word of God says that you should pray without ceasing, (1 Thessalonians 5:17) this does mean that you are on your knees every day, it means that your heart should be in a posture to commune with God, day in and day out! Honoring Jesus Christ should be your daily focus in everything that you do, honor Him with the life he has given you. Again, I say your life should bring Him Glory and Honor Him!

Let’s Pray:
Father, thank You for Your gift of the Holy Spirit and the certainty of promises that You will always protect me from the things that challenge me in our daily journey called life.  But, because of what You did for me on Calvary Hill, I know that I know, that I have full assurance that the Your presence and Holy Spirit lives within me. Father, I pray today for my brothers and sisters in Christ that are around the world, I pray that they may come to experience You in a new way and out of Your glorious riches and that You strengthen them and me through the power of Your Holy Spirit and that our lives bring honor to You, whether we live or die, if we are in You, it will be for our good and gain and bring Glory to Your Holy Name. In the Name Jesus Christ. Amen!
