Good Morning Deliberate One!

Matthew 11:12 KJV ~
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

Often when we hear the word kingdom, we think of it as a physical geographical location like it’s a state or nation. But it is so much more than that, the Kingdom of Heaven is a place where the rules of the Ruler are obeyed! As true son’s and daughter’s, your mind should be on daily living that you might live again, that you can obtain the right to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven!

Jesus commended John the Baptist and He also talked about his opposition that he faced because he preached the Gospel! His messages were full of truth and power of God’s Word. John the Baptist proclaimed that the Kingdom of Heaven was near, this led to so much conflict and his death! (What are you willing to die for?) Jesus told his disciples that they would face this same kind of challenges in order for Kingdom to advance. He told them that His Power was stronger than any force that would try to oppose His Kingdom, they just needed to remain faithful!

So, if the people gave John and the disciples a hard time because of what they said about the Power of the coming Kingdom, what do you think they will do to you, for you are living in the power of the Kingdom right now? I need you realize that you are in the middle a war, but I need you to be like John, proceed forward, and remain faithful toward God’s purpose for you and not your own, realize that you are a part of God’s Kingdom, and you will be victorious!

So, after all of this, what direction are you going in? You know it’s not a physical geographical location, but a spiritual location and you need to have your mind and your heart focused on! You do know that every one that says they belong to Jesus Christ and think they are going to enter in, isn’t going to make it, (Matthew 7:21)! Stop being a follower, stop sitting on the sidelines, (break up the huddle) and get up and do what God requires of you, you are responsible for how you respond to Jesus Christ, nobody can do that for you, except you! All who say Lord, Lord is not really who they say they are, be mindful! Ask for discernment!

John caused conflict wherever he went, because he preached the Gospel, he was use to upsetting the status quo with his call for true repentance, he would keep them stirred up, everywhere he went, he got a reaction out of them, sometimes he was forceful and sometimes it came to violence, but he was determined to get the Word out, no matter the cost! What cost are you willing to pay to get the Gospel out? How far are you willing to go! Will you do it His Way? When you do God’s Will, the way He wants and you follow His Way yourself, it breaks you free from your life of sin and death and it purifies and prepares you for the Kingdom of Heaven! For the God you serve is Holy and Righteous and, in His Word, the plan of salvation is made crystal clear!

Today, our homes, children, church, communities, cities, states and nations need men and women like you, to have conviction and drive just as John the Baptist did, to step up and lead like your life depended on it, (it really does)! The Kingdom of Heaven has been and will continue to forcefully advance and until Jesus Christ comes back and puts a final stop to the enemy, there is going to be someone that is opposing and trying to attack it! But be determined to get out of your way that God may have His Way, it’s the only Way!

When it comes to the Kingdom of Heaven you must be determined and deliberate in your decision to serve Him. There should be no contradiction between what Matthew said in 11:12 and Luke 16:16, it’s plain, as plain as your nose is on your face.  “The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.” When you look at both of these verses, you can clearly see that Kingdom of Heaven will advance in this world and there will be conflict because there are so many forces of evil that oppose God’s Word and His Work, and I know that you can see how violent men are working against God and His church. But God will Prevail! Say it with me, But God! So, be of good courage because God’s Kingdom is coming with all Power and people are being freed from the power of Satan as they take hold of the Good News of Jesus Christ!

And the only way that you will make it into the Kingdom of Heaven is by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior and by practicing and doing exactly what His Word says, there are no shortcuts to Heaven!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Father please give me, your servant boldness to declare Your Word with courage and conviction as I seek to share it with those who are still walking in darkness, that Your Word would draw them out with Your grace and Mercy into Your Marvelous light. Father, thank You that You have removed the spirit of fear from me and that I am walking by faith and not sight. Thank You Father for Your Power and Presence that covers me as I go into the highways and byways preaching and teaching to Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the Name of Jesus Christ! Amen.

Good Morning Sunshine, It’s Time To Break The Huddle!

Deuteronomy 1:7a, 8a NIV ~ “Break camp and advance…Go in and take possession…”

It’s time to break up the Huddle! Have you ever played sports or been to a game and before you went on the field, your team huddle together to discuss the next play?  Now I have another question, could you just stay in huddle and win the game? No, you couldn’t, you had to break up the huddle so that you could execute your play!

I know that your predecessors may have been afraid to break up the huddle because of what they were facing. But I want you to move and operate in faith! It’s time to break up camp and advance, even if you have to go along, just go! Remember that you are never alone, you plus God any day is the majority! The children during this time had to take a stand and believe in God.

Well, today it’s the same God, He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He never ever changes, and He is looking for people like you that has bona fide faith in who He is! It’s time to swallow up your fears and step out on your faith and sing praises to His Glorious Name, trusting and believing in who He is and what He said, “He will never leave you or forsake you! “Deuteronomy 31:8!

Now, I know some may think that it’s a waste of time to be in the huddle, but I want to assure you that it’s not! the huddle is preparing you on how to execute your next play, it is a means to the end. As a matter of fact, the huddle is designed with you in mind, it is to make you ready to play the game!

I mean can you imagine your favorite football/basketball team, going into the huddle on the sidelines and never advancing to the field, you would be so furious, why, because you want to see them in action! Well, guess what? God wants to see you in action! It’s time out for lip service, it’s time to actually serve! Get in there, show others what God has taught you in the huddle, in your prayer closet. What have you learned?

Think about this, it’s Sunday Morning, you get up, you go to the locker room and get dressed up, you move to the sidelines all dressed up, clapping and stuff and then you position yourself for the huddle, to plan and plot your move, that you don’t play! All you have done is fulfilled a religious duty, nothing less, nothing more. It looked good, but it has no substance! It’s not what you do in the huddle that matters, it’s what comes out of the huddle that matters. You get prepared in the sanctuary for what you are going to do outside of the sanctuary!

You are to gather together with like believers, these are your locker room meetings. They are designed to strengthen you, both physically and spiritually, they make sure that you are healthy and ready for the field (life) where the game is actually played. It’s where you minister to the hungry, thirsty, and sick people that have been abandoned, and mistreated; you minister to people who need love and redemption, this is the field of play for people of faith (you)!

God has commissioned every one of His disciples to move out of the huddle and to go advance the work of His kingdom across this globe, Matthew 28:19; to every nation, and to every tribe, that all people will hear about Jesus Christ, because Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb! (Revelation 7:9-10)!

You are being called out of the huddle to move into action. And when you break the huddle, know that you have been empowered by God to actually deliver on the field. So while there is still time on the clock, let’s make a difference in someone’s life by telling them about Jesus Christ, and how He came into this world to die for us, and how He died on an old rugged cross, and how He was buried in a borrowed tomb and how on the third day, He rose with all Power for you and them, all because of love, He broke up the huddle!

Let’s Pray:
Father Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! Thank You for dying for me and my sins, Thank You for rising up on that early Sunday Morning, that I may get up today. Father, today, I will break the huddle and move into what You destined for me to do today. Father, I will move forward and possess what You said I could have, and I know the only way I can have it is, I’ve got to Go! Father, lead me today along the path that You planned for me from the beginning. Father, help me to stay focused and to not be distracted by the cares and concerns that come along the way. Father, thank You for surrounding me around strong Christians, that we may sharpen each other and become better together as we move on the field to spread Your Gospel, to every nation, tribe and people, that they might accept You as their Lord and Savior so that they can experience Your love and redemption. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Walking One!

Isaiah 30:21 (NIV) ~ “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

Walk It Out ~ God is everywhere in the same place at the same time. Omnipresent!! It does not matter where you are, God is with you! God is everywhere in the same place at the same time. Omnipresent! It doesn’t matter whether you go right or left, God is with you!

Don’t lose sight of God, don’t based things on what you feel, see, or experience, don’t let your feelings and emotions control you, they change from moment to moment and God is not bound or limited by time, space, or our own personal pleasure. God is with you! God knows everything about you, He knows when you sit and when you rise; He even perceive your thoughts from afar. God is with you! Psalm 138:2!

There is one principle that will never change, you go where your feet go, there is not one time that your body went one way, and your feet went another way, it’s your feet that take you where you want to go! In the Bible your feet represent your lives. David praised God because of how He led him, “He makes my feet like the feet of deer, And sets me on my high places. [36] You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip.” God made sure that David’s feet were good, and He is doing the same thing for your feet today, He has made them strong and secured for the places that you will walk too, Psalm 18:33,36!

God says that the feet of those who bring the good news are beautiful. Look at your feet this morning, check them out and say they are beautiful! Your feet are significant to someone today, for they are going to hear the Word of God through you today! You can read it for yourself in the book of Isaiah, he asked the question, ‘How beautiful are the feet of the messengers who announce the Good News”, Isaiah 52:7! Your feet become beautiful because you are the messenger that delivers the beautiful Message of Jesus Christ! You are the messenger that brings forth the Good News of the Gospel to others!

God is sending you out, He has given you instruction on what to do; so, no matter which way you turn to the right or to the left, you can hear the voice of God behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” His sheep know His voice and they follow, (John 19:27). When you truly recognize that God is with you and you believe this, then you will trust Him wherever He leads you. God is with you! It does not matter where you go, God is with you and because God is with you, you can journey anywhere and hear His voice!

The Word of God tells you what kind of life you should live and how you should walk. Listen to what Paul told the Christians, (not the world, but you, the Christian that is reading this right now), you are to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation, a life which proves that God has called you Ephesians 4:1!

Today, I want encourage you in the Lord, to live [literally, walk] the kind of life that is pleasing to God! Walk this way! God is with you!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Thank You for waking me up this morning and starting me on my way, I’m grateful! Father, thank You, for my feet, thank You that when I rose, I was able to stand on my feet and walk it out. Father, I thank You for Your Word, direct my feet to wherever You want them to go today, where You want Your Word to go. Father I pray that I move quickly and swiftly in sharing the Gospel for somebody’s life depends on it! Father, according to Your Word in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” Thank You for lighting up my path, that I may follow You and not fall. Father, it is an honor to be able to share Your Good News with others; Your Word of redemption, salvation, peace and love and to spread the Good News to any and every one that wants to hear it! Thank You Father for making my steps sure as I walk through this journey called life! Psalm 18:33! Father, thank You for everything, Your child! In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Following One!

1 Corinthians 11:1 KJV~ “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”
Choose this day who you are going to follow! I choose Jesus Christ, and nothing are no one goes before Him! Joshua 24:15!

In order to to be a good leader, one must learn how to follow! You must be willing to deny what you want and do what the leader says! There was a childhood game that I’m sure everyone reading this has played, one person is chosen to be the leader, and everyone must follow him/her and do the same thing, you must do whatever the leader does. The person that disobeys or lag behind the leader’s motions are out of the game.  How is it that we will follow others like this and not follow God like this! “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23-24 KJV!

Can you put your desires to the side today? Can you deny yourself? Can you say No today, No to you, No to your ways, and No to your wants and follow Jesus Christ without any questions or reservations, just follow Him? He is the Ultimate Leader that will lead you and lead you right!

Are you a good leader? Where are you leading them? Are you a good follower? Who are you following? The Words, “Follow Me”, is not about a physical place but a spiritual place, it’s an invitation for you to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ! In order to be a great follower of Jesus Christ, you must be surrendered to Jesus Christ, with every fiber of your being you must believe and trust in who you follow.

You and I are called to follow Jesus Christ as His disciples and to trust in Him. As you grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ you are also growing as a leader to those in your circle! Today, pray for discernment ask you start your day out and be mindful of who you are following, because someone is following you, and your desire should be to lead them to Jesus Christ, the ultimate destination, where you will be saved and delivered because you chose to Follow the Leader, Jesus Christ!

Taking up your cross means you no longer have plans, and you are ready to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ! He loved and cared for others and the more He did it, the more they hated Him, even unto death! So, be prepared, when you take up your cross and choose to follow Him, that means, His footsteps, and that could lead you to your death for the sake of Jesus Christ. Can you choose today, to really pick up your cross and follow Jesus Christ?

I really love the old hymns and this one came to my mind as I was finishing up this devotional. “Must Jesus Bear This Cross Alone, Must Jesus bear this, and all this world go free? There’s the cross for everyone and there is a cross for me!”

Today, I want you to be conscious and intentional in following your Leader, Jesus Christ, and do everything that He does!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Thank You for the leadership that You placed in my life. Father, help me to learn from those who You put in authority over me who are seeking after You. Father, I’m seeking to follow Your every move and to be more like You. Father, continue to lead and guide my leaders and all the local, state, and world. Father Thank You! Thank You for dying on that Old Rugged Cross for me! Today, I choose to pick up my cross and follow in Your footsteps, I know there is protection for me with You! Teach them Your truth and I pray that all of us are obedient to Your Word. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Learned One!

Psalm 89:15~” Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.”

Sometimes you have to say something again, today is that day! Yesterday after my devotional time I heard this, “Your Favor has just made a loud blast because you Acclaim God!” The word acclaim means, to welcome in. Then I read today’s scripture in NKJ and AMP, ~ “Blessed and happy are the people who know the joyful sound [of the trumpet’s blast]! They walk, O LORD, in the light and favor of Your countenance!” Did you hear that loud blast, the Favor of God has just made a sound on your behalf! I love how God will speak a thing to you and then back it up with His Word! Listen to that trumpet blow, it’s sounding the alarm that God has Favored you as you have welcomed in God and the light of His Presence is all around you!

The Lord, your God is good, and He loves you and keeps His Word to you! He will preserve you during the hard times and struggles that you encounter in your life and in this world, God keeps on keeping you!

We all have learned just how valuable, short and fragile this life can be, we live in times of loss, trouble and uncertainty. This is why it’s so important that you walk in the Will of God; we are imperfect people who are cared for by a Perfect God and when we walk in His Will, we can have perfect peace from our Perfect God and experience His care and comfort. God’s Will for you today and every day that He blesses you with is to walk in His Will and Way so that you can be covered!

You want to be happy, then learn the sound of God’s voice and obey it, write the Word of God in and on your heart, then you can experience a sound mind and power from on high to help you in these troublesome days that you are walking through. This is how you bring forth fruit in your life as you walk with God! There is nothing as wonderful as your relationship with your Father, you are nothing without Him and everything with Him as you acclaim to walk in His Presence!

Let’s Pray:

Father, Thank You for making my life and circle complete in You! Father, I’m going to walk with you, regardless of the struggle I’m with You and in Your Will, no matter what I may face! Father, Thank You for keeping me safe as I walk in this journey! In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Numbered One!

Psalm 39:4 NKJV ~ “LORD, make me to know my end, And what is the measure of my days, That I may know how frail I am.”

If you knew that Jesus Christ was coming back to get you tomorrow, what would you do differently today?

What are you doing for the kingdom today? Can anyone tell that you are serving Jesus Christ, and not just by lip service? I don’t want you to sound good, I want you to be good! We have a tendency to hesitate, to put things off until the last minute, well today could be your last minute, it could be mine, so what will you be remembered for? If you are desperately trying to remember something worthwhile, you might want to do something today so that it will be up close in your memory. It should not be that hard for you to remember what you did for Christ if you are serving Him and or obedient every day!

Every day we get so caught up in the me, me, me syndrome that we are not aware of what’s going on in the kingdom right under our nose! Today, you need to ready for His mission and your purpose. 1 Thessalonians 4:11, “and to make it your ambition to live quietly and peacefully, and to mind your own affairs and work with your hands, just as we directed you.” It’s to tell people about, “the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and how He has the Power to transform them from darkness into light; and to believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and to place their faith in Him to receive forgiveness of their sins.”

Do you see anything differently? Do you hear anything differently? 1 Corinthians 2:9 is beckoning you to take your eyes and ears away from how you saw a thing yesterday and to focus on what you see and hear today. Every moment counts! I hope and pray that you are hearing and seeing what thus says the Lord! Today, you have to decide between living according to the world’s wisdom and according to God’s Wisdom, no one can make that decision for you!

Today, focus, “get up, rise and shine, stand on your feet; for God has appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. “Acts 26:16 (paraphrased.) God wants you to know that He has prepared you for greater today, it’s time to get too it!

I want you to live today as if it were your last, because you really don’t know, none of do. But you need to be ready and prepared (Matthew 24:36). There is one thing you should know; you have been commissioned by God to share the Good News and to make disciples in The Name of Jesus Christ! Are you prepared to meet with God today? Don’t seek to hear from God unless you are ready for Him to tell you exactly what He wants you to do, and you are ready to do exactly what He says to do! Today, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, remember that you are frail, and your days are numbered, and nobody knows when your number is up but God, Psalm 139:16! Live your best life on purpose for purpose!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to bring light into this world and defeating darkness! Let Your Spirit guide me to be a witness and share my hope in the gospel and to be prepared to give an account for my hope that is in Your eternal life and forgiveness of sins through the redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ! Father, thank You for allowing me one more day, one more chance to give You my all and to tell someone about You, for I am Your Minster and Your Messenger. Oh Father, how beautiful are the feet of those that carry the good news of the gospel! Father, help me to be all that You want on this day, it’s for my good and for Your Glory. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Heartfelt One!

1 Samuel 16:7 NIV ~ “But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.””

Yesterday, as I was sitting at my desk, I heard, “don’t follow status and size.” And then I was led to this scripture! So many times, we judge a thing and a person by the outer appearance, because we seek status and stuff! Have you ever brought a chocolate candy that was hollow, one touch and it’s all broken up, there is no substance to it, John 7:24. Well this is what happens when you judge someone based on their looks and status, you get all the beauty and fluff, with no substance. It’s no good for use!

Saul was tall and good looking, and Samuel was trying to find someone who looked just like Saul to be the next king. How many times do we hear don’t judge a book by its cover, and even though we know it, we still do it over and over again. God told Samuel from the beginning, do not go looking for someone based on what they look like, God see’s the heart! When you make choices based on what your natural eyes see, you overlook that one thing that God wants you to see!

When I heard, don’t follow status or size, I had just witnessed two short people gravitate to each other, not because they knew each other, but they said were both short, (their status and size) so we can be friends (and they laughed about, this was no laughing matter)! How many times have you gravitated towards someone because of how they looked on the outside, or because of what you believed their status was? Did you think because you were attached to them that the same prestige or power would be upon you, be very careful of this, three things could have taken place. First, you don’t know what that person had to walk through to get where they are. Secondly, you don’t know who they walked over to get there either. And thirdly, you don’t know if what they carry is surface deep or skin deep! Be careful of what you think you are looking at; it could be all fluff!

In prayer on yesterday, my prayer partners, Apostle Shannon and Prophetess Kenita, were so profound as they were making One Sound in the Spirit, (they are messengers who bring the Message of the Gospel). Apostle said, that so many times we get caught up in seeking after the messenger and we fail to see and seek after the Message. Please be mindful that you don’t get so caught up in looking at the person, making them your idol, that you miss The Presence of God!” I thank God for the messenger’s that bring the Message of the Good News of the Gospel, for this is what you should be following, The Message that messengers sent by God is bringing you, for this is the Message that leads you and others to Jesus Christ, Mark 16:15!

There is one thing you need to know, your outside does not reveal to others who you really are, but your inside reveals who you are at the core of your being, it reveals your heart! Remember, God judges you by your heart, and not your appearance. Only God knows what’s on the inside, no one knows the intent of your heart but God, Hebrews 4:12! So, stop working so hard to fix your outside while leaving your insides unattended!

Every single day you spend so much time trying to maintain your outer appearance; that you have forgotten about your insides and all the while it was deteriorating because you never paid attention to it, all you care about was the how others saw you! And now you want others to see in you, what you don’t even see in you! Yes, others can see your face, and how you dress up to make yourself look more appealing and attractive but remember if you don’t have anything on the inside, you are just an empty and hollow person and people who know God will see straight through you! You might fool others for a little while, but you can never fool God, He knows, and He sees! So, with this in mind, what do you look like, what are the motives of your heart? I want you to know that God sees your potential in your present place, and He is not judging you by what your cover or current situation looks like, God looks at the content of your heart. So, trust the process God has chosen you for the task at hand, you just have to make sure that your heart is right for the job no matter what the outer might show. The cover does not matter, it’s the content of your heart that matters!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Father, help me to see others through Your eyes and not my own. Father, help me not to judge others by the content of the cover, but by the content of their hearts. Father, help me to take the time seek You and Your Word, so that I may know who is real and who is fake and that I may pray for both of them! Father, I pray that others see the content and motive of my heart and not what I look like on the outside only! Father, I know that You are concerned with what’s in our hearts, help me to always keep Your Word in my heart, that I might not sinned against you. Help me to use Your Word as a light unto my path and trusting you at all times. Psalm 119:11. Father, may I learn today how to not judge others based on what I see, may I be open to what You are teaching me through all circumstances. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sowing One!

Galatians 6:7-8 ~ “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. [8] For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.”

Don’t Waste Your Time! Have you ever heard that saying before, someone was trying to tell you not to do a thing, because it would be a waste of time.  Paul urged the church in Galatia to not waste their lives on doing what was opposite of what God had called you to do! As you read this devotion today I want you to keep in mind the words you just read in this scripture, you will reap what you sow! This scripture was written by a man who had been in prison, beaten, stoned, robbed, lived without food and shelter, and was finally beheaded. He endured it all because he was determined not to waste the life that he was given by God!

If I could tell you just one thing, it would be don’t waste your life! Yes, it’s okay to do and have nice things, but at what cost does it really matter. Again, there is nothing wrong with having and wanting nice stuff, but when you get it at the cost of your relationship with God, what have you really gotten. The point I’m trying to make is, you have spent a lot of time sowing into things that have no value and now you want to reap good, when you didn’t sow into good. Yesterday you should have been sowing seeds that would allow you to be fruitful for the Kingdom of God in order to reap a greater harvest today.

So many times we think that we can get away with doing wrong, but let me tell you something, you cannot get away with anything, nobody has ever and nobody ever will, because God will not mocked! Galatians 6:7! God will see too it, you will reap what you sow! You might fool some, you can’t fool God anytime! He knows every time and every thing! There is good news for you the believer, you will reap more than you sow, and you reap later than you sow, sowing is a process and you have to wait for the harvest to come up before you can reap it.

Yesterday, in a class that I am taking, my professor said that we the believers and children of God should thank Him, “he said, that God picked up some of the stuff that we sowed before we came to Him, for He knew the good that you were going to do for the kingdom and He didn’t want you to reap those bad things.” For this reason you should be thanking God, He saved you from some stuff that could have and should have destroyed your life! Thank You God for Your Grace and Mercy, Ephesians 2:4-9!

I know that there are all kinds of wicked people in this world who live lifestyles that are ungodly and yet they seem to be getting along just fine, don’t focus on them and don’t be discouraged, because in due time, they will reap what they have sown. (John 15:18-19). All you have to do is remain faithful to God and trust Him. I want you to continue to sow the good seeds that are planted in your heart from the Word of God! So be sure that you are living a life that is not a wasted life, but a worthwhile life, that you will reap the good that you have sown to God, knowing that all good things work together for your good, Romans 8:28!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Thank You for saving me from myself! Thank You for Your Grace and Mercy, Thank You for keeping me and protecting me all down through the years. Father, Thank You for not giving me all that I deserve when I disobeyed You! Father, Thank You for the opportunity now to sow into Your people and Your kingdom, that others might reap in Your righteousness. Father, help me to sow seeds of love, peace, patience, kindness, truthfulness, and godliness so that I might reap the blessings of living an obedient life of worship, worth and wholeness before You, and not wasted life. In The Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sheltered One!

Isaiah 32:2 NIV ~ “Each one will be like a shelter from the wind and a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in the desert and the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.”

God has made an announcement right in the midst of proclaiming warnings to God’s people, that had turned away from Him, and was relying on other leaders and nations to help them. (This weekend read  Isaiah 28-31). Right here, the  announcement is made, God tells Isaiah to tell the people, you have been unfaithful to Me, but God has promised that you would live in a Kingdom of Righteousness! God is A Rock In A Weary Land! No matter how strong you think you are, you are not truly strong unless you are strong in God!

I love old hymns, they give you hope for a better day, a better future. Today’s scripture is the reason for this song, “Jesus Is A Rock In A Weary Land” is such an encouragement; “The Lord’s our Rock, in Him we hide, A Shelter in the time of storm; Secure whatever ill betide, A Shelter in the time of storm. Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land, A weary land, a weary land; Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land, A shelter in the time of storm.” It was written by Vernon J. Charlesworth, 1839.

When I think about a large rock and all of what it can do for you, I get happy! In a the Clarke’s Commentary, he wrote this about a rock, “The shadow of a great projecting rock is the most refreshing that is possible in a hot country, not only as most perfectly excluding the rays of the sun, but also as having in itself a natural coolness, which it reflects and communicates to every thing about it.” This natural rock can protect you from the sun and keep you cool at the same time! Now when you think about Jesus Christ as the rock, I know that you are ready to shout Glory Hallelujah! With Jesus as your rock you can be confident in this one thing, He got you in the sun and in the shade, you can be confident and keep your bearings and be cool during your stormy times!

When you are in right standing with Jesus, everything can be going on and you will not come undone! I want you to be encouraged today that no matter what other leaders and people are doing, you just keep looking to Jesus as your Leader and King, because He won’t let you down like other leaders. We have to be in constant prayer for our world leaders, and we have to remember not to put our trust in man, for they are sinful, and our hearts are not to be trusted. We must pray, pray and pray some more (Ephesians 6:18 & Colossians 1:9)! We are not without hope, if you know Jesus then you know there is a King who will reign in righteousness His Name is Jesus, and when we pray without ceasing our leaders who follow His ways will rule with justice and truth. With that being said, the old and young alike will flourish and peace will be our portion as we grow together in love!

Jesus is a refuge from the storms of life and He has given us a new life to the fullest! The enemy come to steal and destroy you, but Jesus comes to bring you life and to make sure it’s to the full, John 10:10, this is how you are going to strive and thrive. Your Lord and Savior is welcoming you in from the storm, He’s provided you with shelter!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You for being my Comforter. Thank You for listening to me and answering my prayer request! Father, there is no One else like You and I’m putting all of my trust in You. Father, today I look to You as my Leader and I praise You for who You are. Father, I am praying to You according to Your Word, just like you told me too. Father, I’m praying for those that are in authority over me and this world, that they may desire Your Will and Ways, that they will seek to live Holy and Righteous lives before You and others. Father, I’m casting all of my cares on You and I’m releasing it, that I may receive Your peace. Father, thank You for and taking care of me and everything that concerns me. Father, show me how to comfort someone else like You have shown me, for You are my Rock and I have put all of my trust and hope in You alone. Father, You, are King, and You Reign in Righteousness today and every day. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen and Amen!

Good Morning Confirmed One!

1 Peter 5:10-11 AMP
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. [11] To Him be dominion (power, authority, sovereignty) forever and ever. Amen.

You have been made complete, strengthened and established during your suffering season! Don’t worry, this season won’t last always! Do you know Him, have you tried Him, He is God, The Only One who can and will be able to help keep and sustain you!

Listen to me and hear me clearly, remain faithful, remain focused, remain firm in your convictions because the suffering that you are enduring right now is temporary, it’s designed to produce in you a greater character so that you can be a constant bearer of good fruit! Fruit that is good for sharing! I want you to know that you are not just suffering to be suffering as one without hope, you have hope in your risen Savior! And as a child of God, you have been handpicked by  Him to walk this way, even if it you have to suffer for a little while, you will be okay!

You do remember the Apostle Paul, he suffered with a thorn in his flesh, because it was part of God’s journey for his life. He asked God three times to remove that thorn but God made it clear to him that it was part of His purpose and plan! Today, I want you to Embrace the Process of your suffering. I know that you have asked God to remove a thing or two, but it’s still there, don’t fret or panic, He’s using it to refine you. To help you see things through His perspective and you are going to have to trust the process of God,  and you do that by keeping your hands, heart and mouth clean before Him. If you have gotten out of character, it’s time to repent and ask God to forgive you and to help you remain steadfast and unmovable, and abounding in His love!

Remember God’s Grace is always sufficient for whatever you need! I want you to be like Paul and accept it and continue standing and serving, even when it’s hard, God will give you the strength to keep moving when you release it to Him and trust Him that He knows best! And I know that when things get tough, it feels like your suffering is unbearable and you want to reach out to others about it, and that’s okay, but all they can do is listen, but if you take it to God in prayer, He not only listens, but He can do something about it and He gave you the Holy Spirit to comfort you in the process!

Call Jesus, He’s on the main line dial Him up, He will answer you on the first ring! I need you to be very mindful of your actions and what you say, for you and you alone are responsible for your own actions, because when you go and stand before Him, you won’t be able to blame anyone else for what you did or didn’t do. You just need to do what God called you to do and the sooner you realize that God is in control and not you, the better your life will be! Just know that what you are going through is temporary, it’s almost over, hang on for a little while longer, He got you!

God said, “after you have suffered a little while,” and when you have come to the end of yourself, the God of all Grace, will impart blessings and favor upon you, you are Growing in Grace, 2 Peter 3:18! For you have been called and now you are His, and you have a secure place in His eternal Glory, for Jesus Christ Himself will complete you and make you what you ought to be, established, grounded, secured, strengthened and settle! This is God’s promise to you as His devoted child, that He is constantly working in you in the midst of your suffering, He is perfecting that thing so that you can fulfill the plans and purposes He created you for!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Father create in me a clean heart and renew Your strength within me. Father, help me to keep my mouth, hands and heart clean and to walk in love as I walk through these trials. Father, help me to lean and depend on You and not my own way or understanding but to Trust all Your Words and Ways for my life. Father help me to embrace this season of adversity and to know that Your Grace is sufficient for me! Therefore Father, I will do as Your Word says, I will take pleasure in my infirmities, in my needs, in my persecutions, in my distresses, for Your sake, for when I am weak, then I am strong because You said so, I believe it and that settles it! In Jesus Christ Name.
Amen!
