Good Morning Confident One!

Jeremiah 17:7 NKJ ~ “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.”

The call for today is for you to put all of your faith and trust in God for He is your shelter in the time of storm, a very present help in the time of trouble and your refuge and strength in times of weakness! You can believe this Word!

This scripture speaks of two types of people? One that trust in human beings or the One who trust in the Lord? Which one are you?

The people of Judah trusted in false gods and other alliances instead of in God; and because of their choices they were small, insignificant and unfruitful. When you trust in anything other than God, you will be malnourished and spiritually and physically weak in your time of trouble, you will not have any strength to draw on.

But those of you that trusted in the Lord will grow and flourished like the trees planted by the rivers of water (see Psalm 1). You will have an abundance of strength and not only will you be able to take care of your needs, but you will have enough strength to help somebody else!

So, are  you living in an unfruitful drought, or are like a well-watered tree that has strength? Trusting God means that you have accepted His blessing on you and you have asked Him to to help you to bear fruit and be fruitful! Can’t you see that It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man any day (Psalm 118:8). In every scripture in the Bible you can see where you had to put your Trust in God and not lean to your own understanding, because it will lead you wrong, (Proverbs 3:5-6). You have got to acknowledge God in all your ways so that He can direct your path! You want the truth, seek for your safety and security in God!

Trusting God does not mean that you are in denial of truth or your tests and trials, but you trust and praise Him because of this, knowing that He is in control! You praise Him differently despite this, as my friend said yesterday in prayer, “In Spite Of…”, I’m going to trust God! So, get a “In Spite Of”, praise on and place that test and trial before God and see what your testimony will be, (you will have a testimony, trust and believe that! And another that I heard in our Bible training, “put a demand on God’s Word, it will come to pass, trust and believe, have confidence in Him and His Word)!

When your trust is in the Lord your God, the winds may blow, the rain may pour, the storm may rage, the violent waves may beat against you, but you will not be moved for your feet are secure and planted like a tree by the rivers of water and you shall not be moved! Always be confident and remember that you are blessed because you have put your trust in the Lord, and you have your hope grounded in the Lord!

Let’s Pray:
Father, I Thank You for Your faithfulness to me in all things. Father, I’m putting all of my trust and hope in You and Your Word! Father I am acknowledging You, for I repent for every time I trusted someone or something over You, after Your Word warned me not to put my trust in anyone or anything else, for there is no help in them (Psalm 146:3). I have learned to acclaim You in all things! I know that all of my help, healing, needs and desires come from You! Father, I know that You are my Lord and Savior, and You are faithful and true to Your Word, I trust Your Will for my life, today and always. Father I Thank You that Your roots go deep down inside of me and I can flourish and grow because I’m being nourished by You and Your Spirit. Because I’m connected to Your Vine, I will bear the fruit, and operate in the fruit of the Holy Spirit every day. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine!

Exodus 33:12-17 NKJV ~ Then Moses said to the LORD, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ [13] Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.” [14] And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” [15] Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. [16] For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.” [17] So the LORD said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.”

Today, stop chasing your feelings and know the facts of God’s Word!

You are an emotional being, you are either in love or hating someone, you’re happy or sad, you’re mad, sad or joyful, it’s one thing or another! As a Christian do you find it hard sometimes to combine your emotions into your spiritual life and you end up falling victim to dangerous tendencies when it comes to your emotions? These tendencies tend to occupy both ends of a spectrum, and they can lead you into a superficial kind of Christianity, where you let your emotions lead you, and you allow your feelings to dictate your circumstances and choices and that’s how you form your thoughts about God, based on you putting your feelings before your faith!

We are not suppose to be men and women who can merely define repentance, but rather a man or woman who hates sin and love righteousness. Get the Word of God in your spirit so that you will know it when you need it, and yes it’s good to memorize scripture but just memorizing it isn’t enough, if it doesn’t produce a change in you, humbleness, a desire to be like Him and love, for God, then it’s superficial, it’s only on the outside and nothing has reached your insides. It’s not enough for you to have knowledge without deep affection it is just lifeless! Scripture calls you to feel what you believe, who not only know truth but has experienced the truth. There is an order to this, your feelings and emotions must be governed and guided by truth of God’s Word!

If you follow your feelings over your faith, then you have missed the connection that God’s revelation is designed to make between your head and heart! It’s a matter of your heart! The key is not to pursue your feelings themselves but to pursue the Lord Jesus Christ by looking to Him, to know His Will and Ways, to obey His commands and to accept His promises, and you need Faith to is what gives birth to feeling to accept what He is doing and this is where your feelings art birth so that you can experience Him.

Sometimes you find yourself afraid when you face the unknown and fear will try to make you feel something that is not real, but it’s in these moments when God calls you to “fear not” for the relief from fear is not found in ignoring what lies ahead, but in looking to the God whose Sovereignty is certain and whose promises are sure. It is when you seek the Lord and ground your faith in Him that our fears and feelings are overcome by the Word of God (Psalm 34:4)! Lift up your head for your faith is tied to God’s character and promises to you!

God created you to experience emotions, He says that there is a time to weep and laugh, to mourn and dance, to hate and love, these emotions are found in His Word, Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, but He does not want you to live out of them, experience them, but live by faith and trust His Word! God’s Word will transform your emotions so that your faith is stronger than your feelings and you are not leaning on your own understanding but you acknowledge His Word in everything, Proverbs 3:5-6! Now your are operating from faith and not feelings!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Father, teach me to trust You and Your Word more. Father, I know that the assurance of my salvation is first and foremost based on Your mercy and grace, so I’m fixing my eyes on You by faith and I find in You, life, death, and resurrection all the hope necessary for me to stand before the You and to know You alone Father is my surety! Father, your Word and my Faith in You is what transforms me from one who use to operate from my feelings and being in despair over my sin, into a person who sing the praises of my Savior who has delivered me from my transgressions and to living a life of Faith. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! This Is Not The End! 

Matthew 27:50–52 (NIV) ~ “When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life.”

This is not the End! It ain’t over! He’s getting up in 3 days! 

Every one looks forward to Good Friday and Easter Sunday and what they might wear, what they are going to do, where they might go and if nothing else, it’s a three day weekend! But these things have nothing to do with these days. The next 3 days has everything to do with Jesus Christ and His Sacrifice! 

And for some it looks like the skies hang low and the atmosphere becomes quiet by by the weight of what’s about to take place. We can’t wait to give a standing ovation for Jesus victory. But have you forgotten about the darkness that had to take place on Good Friday to bring you light on Easter? Have you ever thought about or talked about all of the lives that began the at the moment that Jesus died? It took a Good Friday to give you hope on Easter Sunday! 

Easter is what clarifies Jesus victory and at His victory, you received life! Jesus Christ paid the price for you and it was not cheap, it cost Him his life! Jesus gave you life, eternal life, saving grace and mercy life and it all began on Friday, Good Friday is a good day to say Thank You Jesus and to worship your Lord and Savior, He is worthy to praised! 

This is not the end, it’s the beginning! When you can’t see your future clearly and it seems like nothing is moving in your life you are at a halt, be Encouraged! It’s not over! For the Bible tells you, “We often suffer, but we are never crushed. Even when we don’t know what to do, we never give up. In times of trouble, God is with us, and when we are knocked down, we get up again . . . because we know that God raised the Lord Jesus back to life. And just as God raised Jesus, he will also raise us to life. Then he will bring us into his presence together” (2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 14 CEV). 

So, you see, you can’t lose! You will win in the end, no matter what is happening. Even when you leave your earthen body and you are no longer physically present, if you believe in Jesus Christ as Savior, and you have accepted Him, then you are going straight into the Presence of God; so you see, your story is just beginning! 

The next three days is not an obligation, but it is an opportunity to witness the miracle of your Father being raised from the dead, the most important factor that has ever happened in the world! It is a chance to focus your mind on, and seek to intensify your affections for, the most important and timeless of realities of your life. May God make this day and weekend for one to remember always, may your love for Jesus be greater and grounded and on display for all to see. For you are beholding the ultimate sacrifice of Good Friday, to the death, burial and triumph of Easter Sunday! 

Today, may you know and feel the love of Jesus Christ, in a brand new way! One day, you will meet Jesus Christ and you will bear witness to the old things passing away and you will behold a new way. Again, I say this is not the end of the story, you might not know what the future holds, but you do know who holds the future, Jesus Christ! 

Let’s Pray:

Father, I Thank You for this Friday, one that I have never seen before and one that I will never see again, but Father I Thank You that it will be one that I will never forget! Father, you gave me the ultimate sacrifice, your love and your life to redeem me from sin and I’m grateful. Father, teach me how to love like You, unconditionally giving of myself, my time, my resources and my love without looking for anything back, but that I do it all for Your Glory! Father, I pray that others will benefit from what I do out of loving You. 

Make Ephesians 3:15-19 a part of your prayer today: “For this reason I kneel before the Father, [15] from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. [16] I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, [17] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, [18] may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, [19] and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! God Loves You!

John 3:16 AMP ~ “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

What is the greatest commandment from God? To Love! To Love God and to Love others! To know God is to know Love (Matthew 22:37-40)!

You have been awakened to a day full of love! God loves you! Did you hear me? God loves you! Love requires you to give, it’s the proof of love! Love is the the main declaration in the Bible, and its the greatest gift that you will ever receive!

God loves you, He sacrificed His life, so that you could have life, that’s love! God loves you! Never ever doubt His love for you and don’t let anyone or anything rob you of this life-giving truth. God loves you! You are the Child of the Most High God, have you shared your love with anyone today? Has anyone told you today that they love you? If not, get this one thing in your spirit and hold on to it forever, God Loves you, He always has and He always will, He loves you unconditionally and there nothing you can do about it, and there is nothing else in the whole world like it or can ever be compared to the Love that God has for you! 

Today, you can rest in the fact and knowledge that your Lord and Savior absolutely loves you in spite of you, He displayed His Love for you while you were yet sinners, God Loves you! God demonstrated His love for you at the ultimate personal cost, He gave His one and only Son for you, just because He loves you! And He gave you proof of it, by dying on an old rugged cross, (did you thank Him?) He was bruised and wounded for you; He was buried in a borrowed tomb (did you thank Him?) But the greatest news ever is that He didn’t stay there, but in 3 days, He rose, He got up just for you, now that’s LOVE, (Matthew 27:45-54)!” Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, and Thank You God for loving and saving me (make it personal)! This is where you should be saying, “if you had 10,000 tongues if would not be enough to say Thank You!” Thank You Jesus for loving me!

I want you to be assured that you belong to God, Romans 1:17, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”” Rejoice in the Love of God and the Love from God, again I say rejoice in the Love of God and live by Faith! Let Love be your calling card today wherever you go!

Let’s Pray:
Father, I thank You for giving Your darling son Jesus Christ to save me, Thank You for saving me from my sins and giving me life. Please forgive me for the moments that my life did not reflect Your love. I repent right now for every time that I took Your love for granted. Today I fully accept Your love and I’m loving You and others the way you have taught me (1 John 4:7-8, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is love…”). Father, I thank You and praise You with all of my heart. Give me the strength to trust and believe what You say about me is true, I place all my trust in You and Your love. Father let Your love transform me right now and let the redemptive work of Your hand continue to be upon me. Thank You Father that You are making me better with each moment that You are giving me right now in Jesus Christ Mighty Name I pray. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Be Still and Silent Before The Lord!

Zechariah 2:13 ~ “Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.” (Roused means awaken)!

Be still! Be Silent! Be still and be silent before the Lord your God! What you need today is going to manifest in your stillness! It’s in your stillness that you will learn how to be silent! It’s in your silence that you can hear clearly what Thus says the Lord to you about what you need from Him!

It’s in your stillness and silence that you can worship Him from a surrendered position! Being still is more than you being physically still, it moves you from physical to spiritual! Don’t you want more of Him? Better yet don’t you need more of Him?  Find a place where you have a dedicated space to spend time with Him, a place where you are not going to be distracted or interrupted! It’s a sacred place, where the atmosphere has been saturated with His Presence! Oh how I love to be in His Presence!

It’s in the Still and Silent place that you give reverence to your Father, and know that He longs to spend time with you here! God is answering you in this place and His is concerned about everything and everyone that is connected to you, even that person that you have never met yet, He knows about it!

Today, you may be walking in or facing a difficult challenges that looks impossible, but if you could just get in a Still and Silent position, this thing will not will not overwhelm  or overtake you this time, for God Himself has replenished you and has given you strength for this battle! Just hold tight! God said you would have some troubles and trials but He also said that you would never face something that you couldn’t handle!

Nothing that is happening to you has stopped or stalled God’s plan for you! It may be taking a little more time, but God knows how to get you to your point! Jeremiah 1:12 AMP ~ Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.” Remember, God has not forgotten His promises towards you! Your prayers are being heard by God, as you sit still and silent, surrendering to His Presence and love! It’s all for God’s Glory and your good!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Thank You for waking me up this morning out of the sweet rest that You gave me last night! Father, teach me how to be still and silent today, speak to me, I’m listening to what pleases Your heart, for this is what I truly want to do, please You! Thank You for the gift of discipline, may I have a divine connection with You in this place that I may hear a Word from You to share with someone else! Father, I know that when You bless me, it’s for me to bless someone else, give me an open heart and love for Your people that I can share with them Your love story for them! Father, I will serve You with this day that You have afforded me. Father, I know that Your return is coming and it’s getting closer day by day. Teach me to use my time properly and to live as You have asked me to do. Thank You for the purposes and plans that You have set  in place for me this day.  I will praise You all through this day, and I will be Still and Silent before You. in Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen!

Good Morning Attentive One!

Luke 10:38-42 NKJV ~ “Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” 41 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Life can be busy! There is always something to do or somewhere to go/be or someone needing you! We have gotten so busy being busy, we are working and not serving! We get so caught up in the task that we forget about what’s really important. We have not stopped to make time for The One who gives us time! (Psalm 90:2, before a mountain was formed God was there). Today, what’s the most important thing that you need to spend time doing? Spending time with God should be your first choice! You need to always make time for God, after all it is His time that you are using!

There is a word that we all like to say, “Yes”, we say yes sometimes without even knowing or hearing the whole thing! Yes, I can do it! Yes, I can do that! And then you stop and wonder do you have time to do everything that you said yes too! Now you are shuffling things around to make up time for all of your yeses! But did you say yes to God first?  Then why does He get the least amount of your time? Be mindful of what you say yes too! Don’t let your plans and others plans for you distract you from God’s purpose! Here’s a question for you, are you pursuing plans or are you pursuing God’s purpose? You should have one purpose and that is to have Jesus! To spend time with Jesus and to tell someone else about Jesus! Your purpose is more than who you are or what you have, Jesus wants you to want Him like He wants you! God doesn’t need us but He so wants us, we need Him and most of the time we don’t want Him!

Every day you plan out what you are going to do and how much time it’s going to take! I know that you have heard this saying and you yourself may have even said it before, “You need to work smarter not harder”’ the key is to become smarter at how you do a thing and where you can cut things and time from the process. But if your plan does not start with you sitting at His feet, then you have already missed the smart part! It’s at His feet that you will get instructions on how and what you are to do, this is where your true purpose lives!

Now today, stop focusing on things and time and focus on Him!  You will never figure out your purpose if you are trying to do life without the One that gave you life! This is only found in Jesus! Jesus Christ came to this earth and wrapped Himself in flesh to die and to be raised up, that you can have the time that you have right now! (John 1:14 NKJV And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.) It’s all about Jesus Christ! So go ahead and do the work, but before you do any of that, sit quietly alone. Separate yourself from everything and spend some time having a talk with Jesus! Learn to seek Him first so that you don’t risk missing out on the time you could have been spending with Him and learning about His beautiful Kingdom! (Matthew 6:33)!

Spending time with God is a requirement and your responsibility! Choose wisely!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father, for one more day!  Father, forgive me for the times that I followed the path of distractions. Father today, I choose to walk in the purpose that You designed me for! Father align all of my desires with Your desires, I don’t want to have a separate agenda or assignment away from You! Father, I know there may be a lot going on today, but nothing is as important to me as spending time in Your Presence, Father keep me focused and alert as I sit at Your feet awaiting on my instructions for the day. Father, help me to complete each task in a timely manner and to be effective and efficient. Father, I’m going to praise You for what You have done and for what You have allowed me to accomplish through You! Father, keep me in remembrance of this one thing, Your Word, and that if I want to be the change I must start with me sitting at Your feet. Father, today I will drop worrying, fear and anxieties, there is no to-do list or plans that will keep me from spending time with You. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! It Was At The Cross!

Luke 9:23 NKJV ~ “Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

At the Cross, At the Cross! where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away, it was there by faith I received my sight, and now I am happy all the day! We sing this Chorus, but my God we need to see ourselves first. Have you ever read the lyrics to the song At The Cross? 1 When my heart was so hard, That I ne’er would regard, The salvation held up to my sight, To the cross then I came In my darkness and shame, And ‘twas there that I first saw the light, Chorus: At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away; It was there, by faith, I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day. 2 In my blindness I thought, That no power could have wrought, Such a marvel of wonder and might; But ‘twas done, for I felt, At the cross as I knelt, That my darkness was turned into light. 3 Then the gloom had all passed, And, rejoicing at last, I was sure that my soul was made right; For my Lord, I could see, In his love died for me, On the cross, where I first saw the light. (Written by Herbert Booth, 1885).

This is where it all begins, “And ‘twas there that I first saw the light,” it’s with the end in mind that you can see your beginning. Jesus died on the Cross for me and you, it was “At The Cross”, where He gave all that He had so that you and I could be here today, so the next time you think about the cross, remember what happened for you on The Cross!

Now can you pray while you are on your cross of affliction, or can you only praise Him when things are good? You are to daily pick up your cross, you are to daily pray, praise and worship your Father! It’s in doing this that your Father is Glorified! If you choose not to pick up your cross then you are denying your crown, you cannot have one without the other!

I Corinthians 2:9–10, NKJV ~ “But as it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us by His Spirit.”

Eyes have not seen, nor have your ears heard it, but His Spirit will reveal it. And the only way that you can understand this is for you to be born again! Have you been washed in the Blood of Jesus? I use to hear these two parallel stories when I was growing up, “How can a black cow eat green grass and produce white milk and then how could my black soul become white as snow”, and I didn’t understand it, but my grandmother would say you will “by and by!” It’s now “by and by time” and I understand, do you understand? It was the Blood of Jesus Christ! You must be, you’ve got to be washed in the Blood, and the only way that you will understand His ways and His Will is by the His Spirit and being washed in the Blood!

Everything is about the Cross and the Blood of Jesus! If Jesus hadn’t went to Cross, there would be no Blood! And because of this, It’s Finished! I said everything just to say it’s finished! Say farewell to that sin, to that sickness, to that trial, to that issue, whatever it is, it’s Finished, say farewell because you won’t see that again, you have been washed clean through the pure redeeming Blood of the Lamb!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You, Thank You for Your Redeeming Blood! Thank You for washing me and making me white as snow, it’s nothing but Your Power and Love for me! It cleansed me, it purified me, it covered me and it changed me! Father, I am forever grateful for what You sacrificed that I may have life and have it more abundantly! Father, I stretch my hands to Thee for there is no one else that could save me! I’m saved and full of Your Word! Father, send someone cross my path today that I may tell about Your Cross and what you did for me! In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen!

Good Morning Friendly One!

Proverbs 18:24 NKJV ~ “A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.”

Who are your closest friends? Good friends are hard to come by in a world of superficial and shallow relationships. Be mindful of false companions they may have learned how to act friendly when they are truly not your friends, at all. A true friend is from God. There is an old proverb expression that says, “a friend in need is a friend, indeed.” It means that one person is willing to meet the need of another person’s needs is a sign of true friendship.

Family is chosen for you, but your friends you choose! I thank God for the friends that He has given me. He has blessed me with women that I know that I know are my friend and they can say the same thing about me, I’m their friend as well! I want to encourage you to be the kind of friend that you want to have and watch how God will blossom and grow your relationship!

So many people make excuses for their lack of friends, but the problem is not getting a friend, the challenge is keeping them. You have to show yourself friendly in behavior and conduct. I know someone who can teach you how to be a true friend, the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the eternal Friend who will never leave or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5-6)! When you are friendly, others will desire you to be their friend, and you be esteemed (Proverbs 11:16)!

Ask the God to lead you to your friends, the ones He has designed just for you! As you do, trust that God will give you that “stick-through-thick-and-thin-friend.” Associates are easy to find, but they can be unreliable. But a friend will stick close to you! I’m so grateful to God for my friends, He blessed me with a wonderful gift and I thank God for them and I pray that they thank Him for me too! Today, uphold your friends in prayer, call them and tell them how much you love and appreciate their kindness! Your friends given to you by God is an investment of your effort and time, but they are friends with whom you will share your life with forever.

Let’s Pray:
Father Thank You! Thank You for choosing me to be Your friend! Father, Thank You for the friends that You gave me, (call your friends by name as you pray for them). Father, lead me to someone this week who needs to get an opportunity to meet You and to receive a friendship made by You! Father, I Thank You for all of my Christian friends that You have given me, may You continue to help them in their walk with You today and every day for the rest of their lives. And Father I Thank You for being my very best friend ever!

Father, bless everyone that will read this devotional and pray this prayer today. May their friend made by You find them today and may they be ready to be the friend that You designed them to be! Good Morning Worshipping Servant!

 Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭39‬-‭40‬ ‭NIV‬‬~”Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”” ‭‭

During the triumphal entry the disciples worshipped and praise Jesus as He rode on the donkey through Mount Olives shouting “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”” Luke‬ ‭19‬:‭38‬ ‭NIV‬‬! The Pharisees were very religious individuals and had a perception and a set of rules on how one should worship, who they should worship, and when they should worship. Not knowing that they were in the presence of the King of Kings who is worthy of our praise, wanted Him to silence the worshippers.

In today’s world, we have an active adversary who may present situations, and circumstances to silence the worshippers. After all he comes to steal, kill, and destroy(John 10:10). With that knowledge we should overlook his tactics and praise God in spite of. Do you have a “in spite” of? In spite of the diagnosis I’m going to worship God because He’s a healer, in spite of not having enough at the present moment, He’s a Provider, in spite of chaos all over the land, He’s Jehovah Shalom, the God of Peace. There are many reasons why one may think that you shouldn’t praise God, but there are plenty reasons why you should praise God and it’s simply because of Who He is. He’s a Good Merciful Loving Kind Father! Yes, I thank God for what He has done, extremely grateful for Who He is in my life! That’s enough to praise Him right now.
The Lord says, “In all things give thanks.” We have a reason to thank God. Reflect on what He has done for you.

Let’s Pray:
Almighty God, I thank You for this day that You have allowed me to enter into. I’m grateful for Your love and compassion towards me. Heavenly Father, with the fruit of my lips I praise Your glorious name. For You are worthy to be praised. You are exalted over every being, situation, and all circumstances. Today, I reflect on Who You are and will worship You in spite of this day. Thank You for Your continued love and mercy that is renewed daily. I won’t allow the stones to cry out in my place because I’m a free worshipper who will worship You all the days of my life. God, I love You and I thank You for looking past my faults and meeting my needs. Thank You, In Jesus Name Amen.

Good Morning Sunshine! Lay It Aside!

Hebrews 12:1 ~ “Wherefore seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight.”

Since the first hour that goodness met evil, we have been in conflict with the enemy. It’s true in every spiritual experience and encounter we have that the enemy tries to hinder our walk with our Father.

From every side of the battle, he tries, he tries in the morning, and he rears his head in the midnight hour, if you are laboring in the field, he will try to destroy your equipment (and your witness), if you are building the wall, he will cast down your stones, and when you are desiring to serve God with your whole heart, he will try all he can to distract and destroy you. Your enemy loves being in conflict with you, he feels it distracts you from your Father! Tell him he’s a liar and tfw truth ain’t in him, you will walk and not be hindered!

What is hindering you from living a life of obedience to God? Is there a specific sin that you struggle with, a bad habit that you can’t shake, or is it fear that’s keeping you from running your race of faith the way God wants you too? If you answered yes to one or all of these, then you already know what’s stopping you from going all the way. I’m sure that you have already prayed about it, and I know that you desire to overcome it, because you want to live a righteous and victorious life, like God wants you too, but this still doesn’t stop the enemy from trying to press in on you every once in a while!

 Every so often, you will face a thing, that makes it difficult to totally and fully please God in every way, you know when you are not pleasing God, because you become unhappy with yourself at that moment. (Always repent to God when you sin, God already knows, so you can be honest and just tell the truth! This is why I love today’s scripture; it tells you to lay it aside, anything that causes you pain and is heavy, lay it aside, and push it away out of your reach! No more weight carrying for you! Cast all of your cares on God, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7!

Today, God is urging you to take a good look at your life and let go and remove everything that has weighed you down and has kept you from living an obedient life! You must be honest with yourself and with God in order for this to truly work!

I know I asked this question earlier, but I’m asking again, and just so you know, I don’t want to know, this is for you and you only. So really stop and think about you and your life, do you have a habit or a wrong attitude that has hindered you? Are you plagued by fears that’s weighing you down and keeping you from fulfilling your full purpose for Jesus Christ? Today, is decision day, take hold of every unnecessary issue and burden that weighs you down, move it aside and put it out of your mind and out of your life. Once you have been truthful about you to you, you will find it easier and lighter to run your race with ease and faith! You will press on to victory!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Thank You for teaching and showing me how to lay aside every weight that has hindered me. I repent right now to You! Father, Thank You for always being on my side! Today, I ask Father for Your continuous guidance, help me to daily lay aside my attitude and negative thoughts, bad habit and defeating actions, that keeps trying to pull me backwards when I want to go forward with You.So Father,  today I am asking You to help me make the big break once and for all! Help me make this the day I permanently drop all the weight’s that have tried to hinder my walk and tried to cause me lose my witness! I will not be moved, I’m planted like the tree in the garden m, I may bend, but I will not break for Jesus is leading me, all eyes are on the King! In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
