Mark 4:25 ~ “For to the one who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.”
I want to share an experience I had in December. God sat me down and I mean it literally, and after this amazing encounter with Jesus, I discovered that my heart had been resisting what God was showing me about myself. And instead of embracing His beautiful truth, something deep inside of me tried to keep me in a place that was not good to me or for me. But Thanks be unto God, I didn’t stay there, God saw me through! But this is precisely the result of your enemy, he wants to keep you in bondage and convince you to live in your brokenness instead of the provision that Jesus Christ has provided for you. The enemy will do everything possible to hinder God’s movement through you. Only your faith can unleash the power of God’s promises in you! 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all of your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
If you and I want to see God revealed in your midst, you need to know what He says about you in His Word! I read this quote from Chris Oyakhilome, “When the Holy Spirit comes into your life and you allow Him to take charge of your life, He’ll bring in the anointing. The anointing of God’s Spirit will come upon everything you do.” With the concept of the Anointing of God in your mind, let’s now consider what you are carrying. You are carrying the Anointing! The Anointing! When you carry the anointing, you possess weapons of spiritual warfare that are always loaded and ready for use! You are a carrier of the Holy Spirit’s purpose-driven power and have been made equipped with instructions on how to use it.
I want you to do a self-check this morning on this one, when you look at the fruit of the spirit in your own life, you should be aware of the enemy, he has a lie ready for every truth and a substitute for every holy thing. But you need to know that the devil cannot create anything, he just tries to pervert and slow down the things God creates for you, if he can get his hands on them, (stop giving the enemy access to you.) I hope and pray that you know that there is a real and a false version of everything. And it is imperative that you know the difference between real Anointing and a false anointing. The real Anointing comes directly from the Holy Spirit and carries the attributes, character and Presence of God that will confirm that it’s from the God every time. And because of this you are more than a conqueror, so whenever any kind of challenge presents itself to you, you are prepared to handle it!
I believe that the things that are happening in our society and around the world would be healed if you, the believer learned how to carry and operate in the Anointing that God has given you! When you are carrying the Anointing, this means that you are allowing Holy Spirit to lead you in every aspect of your life, no matter how big or small. So many times, you choose to only use the Anointing for specific times, instead of carrying it with you wherever you go. When God has given you His Anointing you must carry it with you wherever you go, you cannot be separated from it, because when you do that, you are leaving God out too!
The Anointing from God is Authentic! The Anointing is Active! The Anointing is Available! The Anointing is the outflow of His Presence in your life and the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is the inflow that turns your ordinary into His extraordinary; and the Anointing is the outflow that gives you power to serve. This how God puts His Super on your Natural and this Anointing is a part of the Abundant Life that He wants you to live!
How you walk and flow in the Anointing, is a direct reflection between you and your intimacy with God. The greater your intimacy is, the greater level of Anointing you will flow in! I have some good news to tell you, there is no barriers between you and God except the ones that you create. Now how do you know that you have the true Anointing? It’s when the Holy Spirit empowers you to accomplish any the task in front of you! When you carry the Presence of the Holy Spirit, He helps you do what you need to do, your ordinary becomes extraordinary by the Power and Presence of God!

Father, thank You for this day. Thank You for being with me, guiding me and caring so deeply about me. Thank you, Father, for your unfailing love and constant promises. Today, I am praising You for filling me with Your Anointing. Father fill me with Your Wisdom and discernment, that I may know what is real and from You and what is false and that I will put it under my feet, in the Name of Jesus. Father I plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over me, my family, my friends, my community, city, state and nation. Holy Spirit teach me today how to pray for this world like never before. Father, I ask for Your peace when I become anxious, knowing that I can cast all of my worries, problems, and trials on You. Thank You that You are my Rock and my Redeemer and a very present help in time of need. Father, thank You for carrying me. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
