Good Morning Sunshine! God Is Closer Than You Think!

Hebrews 13:5b NIV ~ “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Are you feeling all alone in what you are facing?  God is closer than you may think.  He fills heaven and earth; He is not a God who is far away.  He knows every detail of what you are facing and all that is coming down the road and He cares. Yea, I know that it seems hard to believe but God is close to you even when everything around you seems to say otherwise. God isn’t a distant God! You are closer than you think! Jesus is coming back! The truth of God’s here-ness and nearness is punctuated throughout Scripture.

Though it may seem like God is a million miles away from you, He’s really not, as a matter of fact, He’s closer than you think. He hears your cries, He knows your thoughts, and He sees you right where you’re at. You are loved and noticed by your Heavenly Father. There is nowhere that you can be that your Father isn’t already there first. In Psalm 139:7-10, the Word says, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” So, as you can see, He’s always right there!

The same Word that God gave Moses and Joshua is still true today and it’s for you too, you just have to believe it, Deuteronomy 31:6, 8 and Joshua 1:5, He will never ever leave you nor forsake you, Hebrews 13:5b. Have you ever heard this saying before, “when you feel far from God, it’s not God that moved, it was you!” There is nowhere you can go to get away from His presence, and i mean nowhere! Do you want to know how to feel connected to God constantly, practice praising and praying and be ever mindful of His Presence! For it is with a thankful heart that you worship God, and you acknowledge His Presence is in all areas of your life. It’s as simple as one, two, three, you are to dance to the rhythm of God’s rhythm! Pursuing the Presence of God is the constant awareness of His Presence and being attentive to His Will, Way and His Works!

There is no place you can go to get away from God’s Presence. Be thankful for that! Be thankful that He is with you! “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39! In spite of what you are going through, you are not alone! God is closer than you think.  He fills heaven and earth; He is not a God who is far away.

Jeremiah 23:23-24 “Am I a God at hand,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away?  Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord, “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. He knows every detail of what you are facing and all that is coming down the road and He cares for you. God also knows that there are some lessons that can only be learned through the darkroom experiences and dancing in the rain, and as you go through it, you will learn that those experiences made all the difference in who and what you are called to do! And this verse in Jeremiah sums it up, by letting you know that you couldn’t hide from God even if you wanted to!

God sees all that you are going through and believe me He cares more than you can possibly imagine!  God’s love for you goes beyond your what you see or hear, or understand because His Word is unchanging, unfailing and unconditional.  May His Grace and Mercy supersede and exceeds your comprehension! God is closer to you and your situation than you think!  He loves you and He cares and if you ask, He will give you all the wisdom and understanding that you need.  The only answers in life that you can fully trust are those you find when you fully rely on God to lead and direct you! Don’t try going it alone! Today, I want to encourage you to embrace His desire to walk with you through all that you face in life whether you are on the mountain top or in the valley, He’s with you in both places and He never misses a step!

Let’s Pray

Father, I am so thankful that You are with me today and every day. Open my spiritual eyes to see You, and my ears to hear You and my heart to sense Your Presence at all times. Father, I am so grateful that I don’t have to hide anything from You and that I don’t have to hide my fears, my hurts and or my heartfelt longings from You. Thank You that You welcome me just as I am and You want me to share my heart freely with You, so I don’t have to pretend or be anyone or anything else! Father God, I am so grateful that I am Your child and I know that no matter what happens, my identity as your child will never change. Father, thank You for choosing me and calling me Your royal priesthood! Thank you, Father, for the work that You did on the Cross so that I may an eternal identity. Father thank You for clothing in a new, clean, and pure garment of salvation. Father as I seek to have a closer relationship with You, I will spend time with You and in Your Word so that I can see what’s in Your heart for me and You can see what’s in my heart for You! Father, this day I want nothing more than to have a closer relationship with You and I want my relationship to grow stronger and stronger in You and Your Word, so that I will know without a shadow of a doubt that You are with me and that You never have left me alone and You never will. In the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Just Wait, It’s A Part Of The Process!

Romans 5:1-5 NIV ~ “Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, [2] through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. [3] Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; [4] perseverance, character; and character, hope. [5] And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

You are being developed in the darkroom! Let’s look at how a photographer turns a moment into a picture. When a true photographer captures a moment on film, he has to take it to the darkroom to produce the picture!

He uses a certain red light that illuminates the room so that what’s on the film can be transferred to paper and then the paper has to be dipped in several different trays holding different solutions. If you expose unprocessed film to light can ruin it, and in order to get the things that are on the inside of film, it has to first be subjected to darkness? As the photos are moved from tray to tray, the image begins to emerge. The process takes a considerable amount of time and precision to be processed.

Throughout this process the room must stay dark, so that the captured moments don’t get lost. Because if someone opens the door to the darkroom while the transformation process is underway, the light will mess up every piece of film that the photographer has captured. And more than the pictures being ruined; all time taken to capture those special, detailed, one-of-a-kind moments would be gone and not to mention all money for the film, it would all be wasted! Those photographic one-of-a-kind memories would never again be recaptured, they would be lost forever, only etched in the corridors of the photographer’s mind.

The darkness of that dark room made the proper development of those pictures possible so that everything else necessary to produce a memorable moment to look upon forever could happen. He needed the darkroom, you needed to be processed in the darkroom for gifts to come forward! I know it’s hard to see it right now, but trust the process of God, He knows what best for you! For what you see now is not as important as what you don’t see, for what is seen is temporary, but that which is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 ~ “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

God allowed the dark rooms to develop you into who you are. When you are experiencing the darknesses of life, failures, losses, challenges, sicknesses, loneliness, separations,
disappointments, and deaths; I want you to need to look at it through the “red” of the Blood of Jesus. It’s what today’s scripture says, “you have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” I am sharing this because with you because you may be in the midst of darkness and your cry to God is, “Why are you forsaking me.” (Deuteronomy 31:8, “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”) it is in the place of processing that in all actuality, you are unprocessed and if the light appears before your time is up, it will ruin you. This is why God is allowing you to sit in the darkness because He needs what’s on the inside of you to fully develop. So, I need you to be patient like the photographer who has to wait it out in the dark room and watch as God takes the time to develop the picture of your life that He’s taken. Don’t rush through any of the stages; don’t open the door to soon, endure every dipping, for it is for your good and the Glory of Your Father!

In prayer on last Friday, Apostle Comery said this, “Process, Preparation and Purpose; you have to embrace the season of process in your life while God is preparing you for your place of purpose. Where you are being processed is not your place of purpose, you just had to be processed in that place!” This is the darkroom experience! I know that it may be painful to wait in there while the work is going on, but you can do it! “The Pain of the darkroom has Propelled you into your Purpose”, Pastor Tiffany White! Only when the process is complete will you be fully developed and His image emerges through you, for you and others can now see Him in you! Now that the process is complete, God will open the door and you will walk out transformed and brand new, you will have done been dipped in the Blood of Jesus Christ, making you ready for use! Now your Season of Waiting is Over!

Do you love seeing stars? When and how do you see them? You can only see them at night. Stars can’t shine without darkness. Embrace every challenge as an opportunity to reveal your inner light and strength. Keep pushing forward, for the brightest days often follow the toughest journeys. So, remember the next time that you are in a dark place, it’s to prepare you for the shine, because you can’t shine without darkness preparing the way for you! Embrace your dark room experience today and know that it is making you shine brighter for all the world to see your Father Light of Love in you!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father for a new day! Thank You for watching over me and my family through dark hours and arose us to a brand-new day, one that I have never seen before and one that I will never see again. Help me to use every moment to be a blessing to someone else. Father, Your Word is where my hope lives. My whole being waits for You, Father I thank You for the work You’re actively doing in my life. And I trust that whether or not I can see what’s taking place, it will all work for my good and Your glory. Father, I humble myself before the Throne of Grace and I ask in the Name of Jesus for you to grant me comfort in these darkroom moments. Father, I pray for every crushed spirit that is sitting in a room of darkness right now, send Your peace to cover them right now. Father, allow Your armor of light to shine over their lives. Father, You said in 2 Peter 1:19 “And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.” So Father, I called on You, as You are the only way through this process. Father, I thank You for this refining place, the place where you are preparing me for Your service, may I serve You well. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Please Take Heed To The Clarion Call!

Joel 2:1 NKJV ~ “Blow the trumpet in Zion, And sound an alarm in My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble; For the day of the LORD is coming, For it is at hand”

You are being called to it and called for it! And both of these callings are here with a sense of urgency! Don’t miss the Clarion Call from your Master about your Calling, (your purpose)! In the Old Testament, there was a Clarion Call, it was a loud, shrill instrument that signaled time to go into battle. A clarion call is such a call, that when God says move, you need to move with a sense of urgency!

Now is the time to get serious about the things of God! Take heed to the Clarion Call God is serious about His call! Do you feel a stirring in your soul today?  Do you feel that God is calling you to higher level in the heavenlies? Are you ready to go where He leads?  He is calling you to bring His Kingdom to the earth, and He is doing it His way! Whenever God has announced His vision to you in the spirit, it will come to pass! That loud noise that you have been hearing is God’s Clarion Call to you, and it’s urgent and you need to respond to God so that the Spirit of God’s anointing can move and act, and move you out of this place of complacency, procrastination, doubt, fear, and limitations and move you to the place of Conquering! Make haste and move when you hear that loud sound again!

There is a Clarion Call in the land today for the real Saints m, the Children of God to arise up and take your rightful place! God Himself is drawing you in, draw nigh to Him and He will draw nigh unto you, James 4:8! It’s time for you to be awaken from your slumber, you need to be aware of what is happening around you in this season and time! This is a time to see clearly the signs, for time is one of the most important things that you need to look at! You live in a world that is full of instant gratification, if you don’t like something you can just change it. If you don’t like how you look, you can make plans to alter your outer look by changing this or that, you can do whatever you think that you want to do to fix you. And when you don’t like how your relationships are going, you have the liberty to change it, you don’t have to just be tolerated, God wants you to be celebrated! And when you don’t like the situation that you are in you, you will try anything to change it, you will try to buy it, run away from it, and or fight your way out of it!

1 Corinthians 7:20,23, 24, Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. [23] Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. [24] Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God. You have been called to live the life that God has given you. You were created in His image and for His Glory. You are uniquely made to walk through this, for Breakthrough is on the other side of it! Your life was not meant to be a compared to someone else’s life or to gain or achieve other people’s approval or disapproval of who you are or what are to you do.  Be who God called you to be in this moment, embrace the sound of the call, for what you are called to do depends on it! God has already put the people in place that He has put the assigned to your life and they are super excited about who you are going to be in their lives!

I know sometimes it may seem like your prayers aren’t changing things, but I want to encourage you that they are, they really are, they are changing things according to how God see’s it and not how you see it, you have to change how you see instead of what you see, you need to see everything through God’s eyes. Then, watch and see how God works in and through you for His Glory!  Right now, God is calling and drawing you to Him. That’s right, He’s calling you to be faithful and to be faithful to your calling! “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.” 1 Thessalonians 5:24! Faithful is God’s Character, that is who He is! Great is His faithfulness and His mercies are new every morning! Our God is Faithful and True all at the same time and I’m going to say this again, so pay attention, God is calling you to be faithful too!

God saved and called you for Himself for His Will and for His Way, and it will be fulfilled! His calling will make you holy and acceptable, it will guard you and watch over you, it will protect you and keep you, because you are His very own child! God is faithful and He keeps all of His promises! You are being called for the calling, and God is going to complete the good work that He has begun in you for your calling, and He is perfecting it, according to His Word, until the day of Jesus Christ return. (Philippians 1:6)! Time is at hand! Life is short and nobody knows when He’s coming back, you just need to be prepared. God is stressing to you just how time is short, and He is allowing His people to get serious about repentance and having a personal relationship with Him! He has been giving you warning after warning, His mercy does triumph judgement, but don’t think that judgement is not coming, because it is! Now is the time that you take heed to the Clarion Call!

As a part of your Calling today, tell somebody about your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Tell them how much He loves them, John 3:16! Tell them it’s time to repent and forgive! Tell them how faithful your God is! Tell them how He saved your soul, how He turned your midnight into days of joy! Tell them how much you trust God and if it had not been for the Lord on your side, you know the rest! Tell them He is the Keeper of your soul! Tell them how you surrendered your life to Jesus, and it changed you for life forever! Romans 10:9-10!

Now you can embrace the process so that you can enjoy the promise as you have answered the Masters Clarion Call to your Calling!

Let’s Pray:
Father, thank You! Thank You for calling me unto You! Thank You for never giving up on me! Father I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. (This is love)! Thank You for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. Father, thank You for every gift that You put on the inside of me, I know that it is not just for me to keep to myself, but it is to share with others who You are! You are calling me into my calling, and I thank You for every step that I have taken to get me where I’m at today, in Your Presence and embracing Your Promises! Father I believe in Your Word, and I know it to be true all the time. Father, show me how to walk fully in my calling, no slacking or lacking, no looking back or going back! I’m only going forward with You! I am putting Your Word in my heart, that I may not sin against You, but that I will be faithful to You and what You called me to do for the rest of my days upon this earth. In the Name of Christ Jesus! Amen!

Good Morning  Sunshine!

Matthew 13:43 AMP ~ “Then THE RIGHTEOUS [those who seek the will of God] WILL SHINE FORTH [radiating the new life] LIKE THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears [to hear], let him hear and heed My words.”

Can you hear God speaking to you today? I need you to listen to what the Holy Spirit is saying to you today and not only listen but obey what He is saying! Did you know that Jesus said that you were the “Light of the World” (scripture) and you are to shine as bright as the sun!

As you start your day go outside and look up at the sky. Let the colors of the sun show forth and it covers and stretch across a clear blue sky, and this is the most beautiful masterpiece that one’s could eyes can ever behold! It’s a breathtaking reflection of God’s love for you!

As you live a life of righteousness, a Christian life, you are becoming more and more radiant and brighter as you grow closer to Jesus Christ. When you follow God, trusting and listening to Him and conforming to His ways you will continue growing in His Spirit. You are striving in love and your desire is to receive all the promises of God and to shine like the sun in the kingdom of Our Father.

Even on the gloomiest days, the sun will rise. It might be slow, but you can be sure of it, it’s coming, it may be hidden behind the covers of the clouds that are painted gray, but the sun is definitely there, every morning! Every day we wake up to the sunrise, that reflects our time to work and then we go to sleep with the sunset, it denotes rest, and it happens day in and day out.

Let’s Pray:
Jesus, teach me today how to let my light shine bright and to draw closer to You. As the flowers blossom and smile when the sun lays it glow on them, help me to grow in righteousness, and shine forward, flourishing in love towards one another. Lord, teach me to conform to Your teachings and become brighter and brighter until I shine like the sun in the Kingdom of Your Father. In Jesus Christ Holy Name. Amen

Good Morning Lovely One!

1 Peter 3:10 NASB ~ “The one who desires life, to love and see good days, must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.”

How many times do we talk badly, complain or gossip? How many times do we tell a lie? Or do we think it’s just a little one? Maybe not even a full-blown lie, just a little one. One of those where you just stretch the truth of what happened a little bit. There is no such thing as a little one, a lie is a lie! It’s so easy to fall into the habit of speaking things that are true. But just know this one thing, you will have to give an account for every idle word that you said. Matthew 12:36-37, “But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgement for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” Choose your words carefully and watch what you say.

When you are facing hard times, persecution, difficulties and are facing life threatening dangers, be like Peter and shift your focus from me, myself and I and focus on God, His Word and His Truth, and this will help you to have a positive attitude towards Him and life, you can be encouraged in the Word. And while you are going through encourage someone else, this will help you take your mind off of you! Keep your faith in the God of Abraham who always keeps His promises to you simply because He loves you! It takes a divine, connected relationship with your Father, to encourage others when you are facing your own set of adversities!

When you are in your Fathers Presence, He will show you how to love others in the midst of your own trials and tribulations, this is a deliberate act of honoring your Father! It shows that you desire life, that you love and that you want to see the good days ahead, so you are intentional in keeping your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking evil! It shows that you believe in what you stand on, the Word of God! It shows that you have Hope in your Father, and it shows that you Trust your Father with every fiber of your being and that He is in total control and that all things are working together for the good of those that love Him, Romans 8:28!

Let’s Pray:
Father, My Father, “Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and forever.
Amen!” Father, please forgive me from the times I spoke evil things with my tongue, create in me a clean heart and renew Your right Spirit in me. Father, keep from lying to You, myself and anyone else, fill me with Your truth, I no longer have to pretend, I am who You made me and that’s enough for me. Father, I thank You for forgiving me and keeping me. Thank You for filling me with Your Holy Spirit so that I can stay close to You and do Your Will according to how You planned it out! Father, I pray that all my words and my actions would be an encouragement to others and reflect Your love and truthfulness! In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! The LORD Is On Your Side!

Psalm 124:1-3,8 NIV ~ “If the LORD had not been on our side-let Israel say- [2] if the LORD had not been on our side when people attacked us, [3] they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us; [8] Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.”

Have you ever tried to convince someone to do something? Or has someone tried to convince you to do something? It looked hard, but you knew that if they tried it, it would be okay! Then they tried it, or you tried it, and it turned out good! Then as you sat down you recounted everything that happened, you saw this and that and then you remembered exactly what happened!  This Psalm is that for the Jew’s, they were recounting what happened on their journey as they traveled through all the dangers along the way, and with excitement they reflected on what they had experienced and thought about what it would have been like if the Lord had not been on their side! Oh, where would you be!

Can you think about a time and say this, “If it had not been for the Lord on my side”, that thing I that faced, that temptation that tried me, that pride that tried to rise up and get me out of character, it would have messed me up! But thanks be unto God, for you know that if it had not been for the Lord on your side, you would been swallowed up!

This If is so important! “If”, If it had not been for the LORD who was on your side! Everything depends on that IF! It spelled the difference between deliverance and disaster. But thanks be unto the Lord, because He was there, and that made all the difference and kept you from disaster! No one has had as many narrow escapes as the Jew’s did. According to the natural they should have been extinct a long time ago.  You know they went through sieges, massacres, ovens, and bombs, and they survived because the Lord was on their side! There was one miracle after another, and the same thing is available for you to.

The sad thing is that they didn’t always recognize that it was God! They thought that they were responsible for their victories, they let their pride get the best of them and they thought it was their own cleverness and power. But thank God for the remnant that realized that apart from the Lord, they would have been exterminated a long time ago if it had not been for the Lord on their side!

If it had not been for the Lord on your side, where would you be? You would be a wretch undone, Isaiah 6:5! A ship tossed out to sea and forever lost, Ephesians 4:24! But God, thanks be unto God, because He was on your side, He protected you from your enemies (which was sometimes you), He let His sun shine on you and kept you dry on rainy days, Matthew 5:45! He cradles you like His baby when you have been battered and torn, God never leaves you alone and when you kneel down to repent and pray, victory will be on your side, because God is inside of you!

Do you know how you have been so victorious? It’s not by your strength, might, power, wisdom, creativity, wealth and riches, that got you over, it was all God, Zechariah 4:6! If it had not been for the Lord on your side, where would you be? It was God that delivered you over every obstacle and overwhelming odds that was against you! Give God “All” the credit for your life, you are standing on His promises! Be thankful that God chose little old you to accomplish the most amazing things to win the largest battles. He turned every impossible into a possible, you serve a God who has no limits to what he can do, Matthew 19:26!

Today, remember that God is not only by your side, but He lives on the inside and to be on God side is always the right side!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Thank You for always being on my side, watching and guiding me.  Father, as I look back over my life and I can see Your hand with me through all the things I have faced. You have guided me through adversity and guarded me, even from my own self at times! I am so grateful that You have always look out for me. I can only imagine what trials, calamities, or disasters might have come my way, if it weren’t for the fact that You were there covering and protecting me, even from myself, Thank You! Thank You Father for Your abundance of Grace and Mercy that You pour out on my life day in and day out! If it was not for You on my side, I would have been gone a long time ago, but God! Father, help me to use everything that You have given me for Your Glory! In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Serving One!

Romans 12:6, 8 NKJV ~ “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; [8] he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.”

This is our key verse today, Romans 12:7 (NKJV) ~ “or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching.” You cannot look at this scripture without looking at the one before it and after it!”

Has God given you the gift of teaching? How will you use your gifts today? It matters to God! In order to teach well you have to know how to serve others well!

Whatever God called you to do, go it well! If you are called to preach, preach well! If you are called to pastor, pastor well! If you are called to sing, sing well! If you are called to sow, sow well! If God called you to serve, then you should serve with all your heart.  When God gives you the gift of serving, you can see a need and you will desire to do something about it, then you are a server, and you serve well, because God put this gift inside of you! It’s a blessing to have this gift, because that’s what God wants all of us to do, “To Serve” and the only way we can do this is to have a “Servants Heart” and a desire to “Sow” into others, and this comes from having a real relationship with God! Remember, serving others is not done for you to get honor, but you serve them because Jesus Christ first served you by giving His life for you (Mat. 20:28)! Everything is for His Glory!

Are you a teacher, then teach well! How do you do this, by being a student! You have got to have a learner’s heart in order to teach well. Every day you are learning something new so that you can teach someone something new. God has gifted you and Graces you for this element (I’m saying this in Apostle Comery’s voice!) Gifts are from God; Talent is what you have when you have taught yourself! Now is this gift from God or is it from you? I pray that your life is leading someone else to Jesus Christ, now this is the ultimate gift of teaching! My prayer for you today, is that you are using your gift of teaching as an expression of your gratitude to God, and how He showed you grace and mercy by redeeming you! Teach what God gives you and then you will teach well because it’s for Him!

God has given you these gifts to Glorify Him. Let the joy of Jesus Christ overflow in you for others. Do all that He pours into your heart for other and let love be the only reason why you do it! These gifts are given to you by God, and they are to be used for His Glory! As a servant of the Highest God, you must, serve, sow and show up every single day!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Thank You for Your gifts that You have given me. Father, teach me how to use them wisely for the building up and edifying You, and helping others to come to You. Teach me God how to serve and teach with my whole heart, inspire my mind and incline my ears to be attentive to Your Word, and that I will be the kind of person that You want me to be.
Father, I pray that Your children will come together in unity and use our gifts to Glorify Your Name Sake. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! You Are On Call & On Duty!

1 Corinthians 7:20,24 NIV ~ “Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them. [24] Brothers and sisters, each person, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.”

How you fulfill the demands of your vocation is a part of you being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Or to put it another way, how you do your job is a part of your obedience to Jesus Christ.

Do you know that so many people believe that the only way they can serve and live for God is by becoming pastors, or a teacher? How many opportunities have been looked over just because of this mindset? I just need you to know that that is the furthest thing from the truth, it’s not the office they hold, it is the sincerity of their heart; and it is not the position that helps them to do it, but it is the grace of God that enables them to serve and glorify God. God is glorified at the workbench, where the godly worker fulfills his duty of serving the Savior in love. You don’t just need to be in a pulpit or behind a desk to serve God, God will be glorified far more when you humble your heart!

You can glorify God as the garbage truck driver or bus driver, you can bless God by speaking to His people and offering them living hope through how you live! You will be more useful than the one who stands behind a desk because you have your boots on the ground and you are not peddling the Gospel for profit, but you are glorifying God through servicing the people and operating in your vocation that God called you too! So many times, as the body of Christ you become concerned about what someone else is doing or you complain about what you could be doing for God somewhere else that you miss the great opportunities to serve right where you are. Paul says that those who become Christians should continue with the work they have previously been doing for the Glory of God!

Every job can become Christian job when you realize that it can be an opportunity for you to honor, serve, and to be the vehicle and mouthpiece in the earth realm to speak out for Jesus Christ! God has placed you where you are for a purpose, this place is your call to duty station, and you are on call, so get busy! Take every opportunity to serve Him there and serve Him Well, lives depend on how you respond! Today, do not neglect the path of duty by leaving your current occupation, and take heed and do not dishonor your profession while you are in it. Every profession that is, God knows about it, may every profession be sanctified by the Presence and Gospel of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, you will find some of the most menial forms of labor that was connected either with most daring deeds of faith or with persons whose lives have been illustrations of holiness. You have to operate in your Faith in your calling.

Therefore, do not be discontented with your calling, God knew what He put in you from the beginning (Jeremiah 1:5). Whatever God has made your position or your work to be, remain in that, until He calls you to something else. Let your first concern be to glorify God to the best of your ability where you are. Fill your present sphere to His praise, and if He needs you in another, He will show it to you. This evening lay aside anxious ambition and embrace peaceful content. Lead the life in which God had called you. In whatever state you are called, remain there with God, for this is the Divine call by which you were drawn to believe in Christ. The calling of the Holy Spirit has pulled you into fellowship with Jesus Christ. Simply put, the call of God that came to you, came through the power of God and Gospel of Jesus Christ. “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9. This is for you my Christian brothers and sisters, you received the call, and you answered the call. Jesus said, “Many are called, but few are chosen,” Matthew 22:14, you have been called to bring the Word of God to the world through service!

Everything happens for a reason, and you need to trust the Spirit of God and follow the peace that He gives. Oftentimes, God will call you to do a thing that doesn’t make sense at that moment but follow the plan anyway. When God calls you to a thing, He has already made the provision for it. God told Joshua, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you … Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:5b, 9, NIV). The same is true for you today. When God calls you, He equips you to the job and the best thing that He equips you with is Himself!

Let’s Pray:

Thank You Father for a new day. Thank You Father for drawing and calling me into Your purpose. Thank You for knowing me so intimately that You know all my thoughts and fears and you know how to calm me down. Father as You call me, give me a boldness to do what You have prepared me for. Give me the courage and strength to step into my calling. Give me courage and please continue to remind me that You are with me every single step of the way and that You will never leave me. Father thank You for equipping me to follow through and up. Father, I trust and obey You, I know that You will do all that You have promised me. Father, grant me all the grace to be conscious of Your presence in and at my work and to obey all of Your commands in the vocation that You have called me to. Father keep me from complaining, helped me to be committed to Your plan and see Your hand at work in my vocation. Father, I desire to live the life in which You have assigned to me and to do the work that You have called me to. Father I trust You in this season and calling, teach me what I need to learn as You prepare me for my next level of increase. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Can You Perceive It?

Isaiah 43:18-19,25 NIV
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. [19] See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. [25] “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”

What does perceive mean? To become aware or conscious of something, to discern.

God is paving the way for you through everything, the wilderness, rivers and streams, He has you covered. The only thing you need to know is that God did it because He loves you! Open your Bible and see it for yourself. Did you read it? You no longer have to remember who you use to be, or what you use to do, it’s over, you are free to start again! Everything is new, brand new, He has blotted out your transgressions for His sake! Say it to yourself out loud, I’m Free and I’m New!

You can forget about all of that old stuff; you don’t have to rehearse it anymore! You said that you repented to God, He has forgiven you and forgotten about it too, it’s in the sea of forgetfulness, Micah 7:19! Your Father has given you a makeover, you don’t have to remember your former ways, God has given you a new and clean heart, right thinking and obedience, a new way of living and a new talk, a new walk, new courage and, a positive attitude with unsinkable faith!

Today, can you perceive the New You? A turning is taking place, ahead of schedule in your life! So, be intentional, God has made the way for you to embrace the New! He has you covered and the only thing that you need to have in your mind, is that Jesus Christ loves you, this you know because the Bible tells you so! John 3:16. Free your heart, let go of the old and embrace God’s new for you!

I was going through some papers the other day and I found a candy wrapper that I saved from Dove candy, and it is so fitting for today’s scripture, on the inside of the wrapper these words were penned, “Inhale the future and exhale the past.” Does this speak volume to our scripture? God is doing a New thing! Can’t you perceive it? Here’s the one thing that you have to do, release all the old, you can’t stay in your old place and want to be in your new place! God said it best, “Don’t remember the former things, not the old ways either, because I’m going to do a new thing for you. (paraphrased).”

From this day forward remind yourself of who you are in Christ Jesus, and don’t let anyone bring back or talk about your past! You are a new creature, old things have passed away, and all things are new, 2 Corinthians 5:17! Don’t look back, and don’t go back, you don’t need it anymore, you are New and Free, you just have to see yourself in the New Place!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father, for my brand-new season! Father thank You for taking away the former things and the things of old. Father thank You for making a way in the rivers and streams and making every crooked place straight. Father, lead and guide me as I navigate through this brand-new season! Help me to stay connected to You as my Source, instead of trying to do it on my own! Father, I’m putting all of my trust in You, for this is where all of my hope, healing and happiness comes from! Thank You for a brand-new day to worship and serve You! Open an opportunity for me to share Your Word with someone who does not know You for themselves and draw them to You by Your love, just like You did for me. In Jesus Christ Name, Amen!

Good Morning Still One!

Exodus 14:14 ~ “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

How are you really doing mentally and emotionally?

Have there been times where it seems liked you were fighting the same battles mentally and emotionally over and over again at the same? This can be exhausting, daily one battle after another battle and each one leaves you more exhausted than the one before!

What is your next move? Your next move is to move out of the way and let God do His job! Your only job right now is, To Be STILL! You have to let go of where you are now and rest in where you are going next! It’s time to embrace the Word of God, “Be Still and know that He is God”, Psalm 46:10!

When you really get tired of fighting, you will be still and the more you say this verse out loud to yourself, the better you will get. The LORD will fight for you (make it personal); you need only to be still; but you have to make this your personal declaration, “The LORD will fight for me; when I become still.” The more you meditate on God’s Word, the more you can see yourself and how you have been getting in your own way and in the way of what God wants to do in you and through you!

Can I ask you a question? How much are you carrying today? If I am being honest with you, sometimes I had carried stuff that was not even mine, I was weighing myself out with Stu that I should have never picked up in the first place. Now how much stuff are you carrying? Is it stressing you out and instead of you just saying no, you just kept piling on the weight, and complaining about how heavy it is. But you wouldn’t stop and be still and now you are tired! I know that we have all done this so many times before.

I would be striving and struggling to be in places that I should have never gone, trying to make what once was, what’s now, I’ve been holding onto thoughts in my heart and mind that are really not there! Free your mind and embrace the release the Spirit of God!

It’s time to be still so that you can hear God, even if you have to ask Him again to tell you, don’t let fear or pride stop you from asking your Father to tell you again what you need to do and when you get quiet and still, He will speak to you.  You just have to make but be sure that you really want the answer to the questions that you are asking Him!

So many times, you have asked God for an answer and when He answered you, you didn’t take heed because it wasn’t the answer you wanted, but it was the answer that you needed! Remember your Father knows exactly what you need, He knows better than you, however He’s not going to force you or make you do anything, you have to lay your want down to receive His Will!

No more going back, no more why me! God is going to strengthen you supernaturally in this next “Still” season! Don’t worry you have not lost any ground and your hold is being tightened so be still, stop thinking about where you should be in this moment and live in moment where you are right now! Put your mind at ease and rest, knowing that God’s Presence is present with you right here and right now!

In stillness lies your strength! Release the burdens, cast all of your cares on Him, Matthew 11:28; your shoulders were not made for this, relax the Lord will fight your battles, just don’t you get weary in doing what is right! God loves making a way in your life, after all the battle actually belongs to the Him anyway! Do you know what’s the best thing for you to do right now, Be Still, Strong and Sure and Believe the Truth of God’s Word! We you learn how to turn over your trust to God’s truth, it will lift off what was weighing you down and now you can be still, because it’s hard to be still when you are weighed down!

This is what I have learned over the years as I have gotten closer to my Father, you will not, become the man or woman that you are meant to be without times of stillness and quietness!  In order to embrace the Presence of God, you must enter into a place of solitude (alone time) and stillness, just you and Him. Quietness and Stillness are two very important things that you must have in your physical, emotional and spiritual life, it helps you grow as you grow!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father for keeping me! Father, today I’m releasing every burden that I’ve been holding on to, (even the ones I never mention)! I’ve given it to You and then I have taken it back, no more, it’s all Yours! I no longer want to or have the capacity to worry and carry this weight, it has held me back to long! May the gift of God’s Grace overpower any feelings that you may have had about yourself that is not like Him! Father may Your Grace be used to do a deep healing in my heart as You fights for me!  Father, please forgive me for trying to fight this battle in my own strength, for I now that I do not have the strength nor power. But I do know that I can do all things through You and when I learn to leave it alone, take my mind and mouth off of it and Be Still, You will fight for me! Father, You are my All in All, my covering, my protection, my sustainer, my keeper and my provider! Father, Thank You for Your Mercy and Grace that You give; I trust You to guide and grow me In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!
