Good Morning Sunshine! You Are Secure, For His Everlasting Arms Got You!

Deuteronomy 33:27 NKJV ~ “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, ‘Destroy!”

Have you ever felt like you were navigating your life from the position of a tightrope high above the ground? And with every step you took, it required you to have courage, to focus, and to trust Him. For the weight of fear and doubt tried to sway you, and made you wondered “What if I fall? What if the rope breaks?” But then you remembered, God’s promise to you, that His Everlasting Arms are underneath you, ready to catch, support, and guide you, overtook that negative thought. So, when the weight of the world tries to threaten you and cause you to lose balance, you won’t fall, because you know that you know that your God got you! And this is exactly what today’s scripture is for, to remind you that God will not let you fall! His Everlasting Arms are there to catch you! Deuteronomy 33:27 paints a vivid picture of God as your refuge and steady foundation. His arms aren’t just there as an afterthought, they are everlasting, and strong enough to uphold you no matter how heavy the burden or difficult the journey. You don’t have to walk the tightrope alone; His Presence surrounds and sustains you.

Isaiah 26:3-4, is there also to remind you of the peace that comes with trusting in the Lord, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.” As you take each step, set your mind and heart on God. He is both the strength beneath your feet and the stillness in your soul. Not only does God steady you, but He also fights for you. God is and has assured you time and time again that He will thrusts out your enemy before you and speaks destruction over anything that seeks to harm His children! He will run away your enemy, fear, failure, or opposition, or anything else that may try to shake you, God has already cleared the path and declared victory on your behalf!

Psalm 46:1 reinforces this truth, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” No matter how narrow the tightrope feels, the eternal God walks with you. His arms catch every stumble and steady every step. God’s everlasting arms are more than a safety net; they are the foundation beneath your entire life! God doesn’t just catch you when you fall, He carries you while you walk, even when you feel too weak to take another step, He got you. “He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:29-31!

As you walk through life’s challenges, His strength ensures that you are never left to balance your life alone. Trust in Him to steady your steps and to hold you securely in His care. The tightrope isn’t just about balance; it’s often about navigating the storms that rage around you. When the winds howl, and the rope seems too thin to hold you, remember, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most-High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.” Psalm 91:1-2! His shadow is your place of protection. His arms are your place of peace. Even as the storms rage, you are safe in His refuge and He will give you victory over your enemy for He promises, “The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:14!

Rest in the knowledge that every battle is already in His hands. So, be confident when you are walking on life’s tightrope, don’t rely on your own strength to keep you upright, ‘Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6! Learn to lean into the steady Presence of God. He is not only your safety net but also your guide, leading you step by step! Take your next step with confidence. The eternal God is not only watching from above; His arms are underneath you, His Spirit is within you, and His victory is before you. You’re safe in His care. Walk boldly, knowing you are never alone!

Let’s Pray:

Thank You Father! Thank You for being my refuge and my strength. Thank You for Your everlasting arms that hold me, sustain me, and carry me through life’s most difficult moments. When the path ahead seems uncertain, remind me that I can trust You completely to go before me, thrust out every enemy, and make my way straight. Father, when fear and doubt creep in, help me to fix my eyes on You, the author and finisher of my faith. Strengthen me when I feel weak and renew my spirit when I feel weary. Guard my heart from the lies of the enemy and fill my mind with Your truth and promises. Surround me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and silence the storms that threaten to shake my faith. Father, I ask that You guide my every step and help me to walk in obedience to Your Will. Father, reveal the paths You have prepared for me and give me wisdom to follow them faithfully. Teach me to lean on Your understanding and not my own. Strengthen my trust in Your perfect timing, even when my circumstances seem uncertain. Father, I surrender every burden, every fear, and every challenge into Your hands, knowing that You are more than able to carry me through. Thank You for Your faithfulness and unfailing love. Thank You for Your everlasting arms that are always underneath me, keeping me safe and secure. May my life be a reflection of Your Glory and Your Goodness! In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! God Is Your Strength!

Isaiah 12:2 ~ “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

Have you ever been tired and had to lean against something or someone till you got your strength back to keep moving? Well God knows this, and He is aware of everything that has tried to overwhelm you, He knows when you are weary and weak, He knows when you are in trouble and need relief, and He knows when you need someone to lean on!

Let Go! Let God! Let it Flow! Just fall into your Father’s Everlasting Arms, He got you! Did you let go? If you did, He caught you, you are safe and secure in His Arms! You do know that His Word says that the whole world is in His Hands, (Psalm 24:1-2) so that should encourage you to know that He can catch and hold you and everything that concerns you! God got you!

Let the Word of the Lord soak into your mind, heart and spirit that you are His. God created you, formed you, redeemed you, saved you, covers you, delivers you, keeps you, sustains you, protects you, heals you, provides for you, calls you by name and kindles His spirit within you. God has you on every side, you are His and don’t forget it!

Do you feel any better? God is there to help you, He’s waiting on you to take His hand, He spoke so clearly when He said, “Wait on Him”, He’s coming to renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31) and make you whole, after leaning on God you will be able to stand, walk, run, and not be tired or weary, God is your Leaning Post, To God Be The Glory!

Lord, when I think about our Father’s Hands and Arms and how He so tenderly catches us with those strong arms, I get excited! We can just lean on our Father and you don’t have to be in a hurry, you can tarry in that place! Deuteronomy 33:27a NIV ~ “The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”

My grandmother use to sing, I’m leaning on Jesus, and she would tell me one day, by and by that I’m going to understand it. Now in the by and by I got it! “I’m Leaning on the Everlasting Arms,” was written by Anthony Johnson Showalter in 1887.

Here are the lyrics, let’s make this our worship song and prayer today.

Can’t you hear it, “What a fellowship, what a joy divine, Leaning on the everlasting arms; What a blessedness, what a peace is mine, Leaning on the everlasting arms. You are Safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, Leaning on the everlasting arms; Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day, Leaning on the everlasting arms. What have I to dread, what have I to fear, Leaning on the everlasting arms? I have blessed peace with my Lord so near, Leaning on the everlasting arms!”

Today, you can just Lean on Your Father and when you do, you will be secure on your right, left, front, back, top and bottom, you are fully secure and can’t no enemy get you out of His Hands! You are secured leaning on your Heavenly Father!

Let’s Pray:

Father, Thank You. Today, I’m leaning on and in Your Everlasting Arms! Father You are my strength and in You lives everything that I need. Father, I am putting all of my trust in You. I just can’t stop thanking you! Father, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You and Thank You! If I had 10,000 tongues it wouldn’t be enough to Thank You for all that You have done, is doing and will do for me. Father, I’m grateful and I want the world to know that I’m going to serve You till the day I die! Father, I know that as I stay in Your Word, I will always be secure in Your Arms! In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Undistracted One!

1 Corinthians 7:35 AMP ~ “Now I say this for your own benefit; not to restrict you, but to promote what is appropriate and secure undistracted devotion to the Lord.”

I wrote this devotional 1 year ago and it is still just as relevant today as it was then! Also, according to the Word of God there is nothing new under the sun! Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”

There is a song by Tasha Cobbs, called Dove’s Eyes and it is so powerful! So, let’s look at the Dove’s Eyes. The doves can only focus on one thing at a time, both eyes are synchronized to see only one thing, they cannot see anything else, there is no distractions. Now let’s look at your two eyes, we can see so many different things all at the same time and sometimes because of this we get distracted, but not the Dove.

I saw a post on Facebook the other day about our natural eyes, here’s what they said; “They blink together, move together, cry together, see things together & sleep together.” Does this sound like togetherness, no distractions, they are one!  I know that this scripture falls right in the middle of Paul talking about being married and unmarried. But oh my God, what would your life be like if you gave your undivided attention to God? It would definitely be for your good!

Have you ever been distracted before? You were looking at one thing and then you saw something else so you had to re-focus, so that you could see clearly. (This happens when ware distracted, or you are trying to do too many things at one time.) It’s time to settle yourself down. I realized in my own life, that in order to have undistracted devotion to God, you must first live a surrendered life to Him. (James 4:7 and Matthew 16:24-27). Undistracted devotion will not work in an undisciplined life!

So, the first thing you need to realize and know is that you it would mean that are distracted, next you need to identify what your distractions are and finally you have to ask God to help you get rid of them so that you can see exactly what God wants you to see and worship Him with your full attention, undistracted! Let’s look at the eyes of a Dove again, they have two eyes just like you, but they can only see one thing at a time. This is called Binocular Vision, it’s where both eyes are synchronized to produce a single image, now that’s undistracted devotion! Lord, help us focus like this!

When you are distracted, you can be in the right place, but you are making the wrong decision or you can be connected to the wrong people and God wants you to walk away, but because you are distracted you made the wrong decision. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you some Godly wisdom so that you can Release the distractions and Remove it and them out of your life. Then ask Him to Recapture and Rekindle you as He Catapults you into Worship with Him!

Now that you are desiring to live a disciplined life without distractions in your way, in your prayer and worship time, you can see clearly like the Dove, how and what you see has become a part of your lifestyle. Now you are more aware of your Father’s Presence and your awareness is going to lift you to higher heights with Him, because all that matters in this moment is Him and the more of Him you see, the more of Him. You desire to live this life, in His Presence 24/7!

Now this is your daily prayer, Psalm 27:4 says it this way: “One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” This is what undistracted devotion to God looks like, you want to gaze upon His beauty and love, and you want to linger and live at His Presence forever!

The Time is Now for you to be catapulted forward, in the words of my friend, No Looking Back! There is no going back, period! You know that you have been wanting more of the Word of God, now you can have it, hear it, heed it and walk in it! It’s Time to Move out, not just in word but indeed! It’s time to focus, all of your attention on God and where He’s catapulting you and, in this season and you cannot afford to be distracted! God wants to reveal His revelation to you so that you may understand your purpose and you can only get this by being in His Presence, in undistracted devotion to Him!

Today, my prayer for you is that you will be catapulted into undistracted worship and devotion with God! Catapulted means to move suddenly or at great speed as though hurled by a catapult! I pray that you get so caught up with Him, that you don’t know where the time started or stopped, you are in total worship with Him! God has catapulted you to another level because of your dedication in your devotion to Him!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Father today I hunger and thirst for undistracted time with You, I want to bask in Your Presence! Father, give me eyes like a dove, that I may see with a singular devotion and focus, that I may see clearly the splendor, beauty and wonder of You. Father, keep me from the distractions that I see with my natural eyes! Father, I am actively seeking to be so close to the You, to live a fully devoted, attentive, responsive and disciplined life, and that I may know what You are calling me to do, every year, month, day, and minute because I live in devotion You! Father, I desire undistracted devotion with You. Father, recapture me, and rekindle Your Fire in me and catapult me into a well of undistracted worship with You! In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Blessings…

Good Morning Sunshine! Have You Welcomed In His Presence Today?

Psalm 139:7 KJV~ “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?”

How amazing it is to be in God’s Presence and to see His Glory hovering over you wherever you are!

When you desire more of Him, He will give you more of His Presence, which provides you with all of His promises that He created for you in the beginning! Today, do you desire a deeper relationship and devotional life with God? If so, you can have it when you surrender it all to Him, I promise you will never be disappointed when you ask for more of God, you will receive more of Him. And He will give you more of His Wisdom, love, peace, joy, discernment and a better understanding of His Will and His Ways. When you seek Him more, you will receive more of Him today than you did yesterday, and you will be greater for today!

Your Father is everywhere at the same time, He is Omnipresent! Today, there is nowhere else you should desire to be except in Your Father’s, Presence, that’s where His Glory resides! Did you receive this? You are never alone when you have God, God is always with you, everywhere you go, He goes! It is in God’s Presence, that your call becomes clearer! It’s in His Presence where He talks with you! It’s in His Presence that He walks with you! It’s in His Presence that you find joy! It’s in His Presence that you find peace! It’s in His Presence that you will find love!

It’s in Presence where His Glory shows up and changes your life! It’s in this place, His Presence, that His Glory appears, and there is no other place you should want to be! Exodus 33:17-18 ESV~ “And the Lord said to Moses, “This very thing that you have spoken I will do, for you have found favor in my sight, and I know you by name.” 18 Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” This scripture should touch the core of your heart, your Father knows you personally, He knows your whole name and who you really are! Because you are seeking Him today, He is going to do that thing you asked of Him! This is your shouting moment, Glory Hallelujah!

So, what are you asking God for today, are you like Moses, and just want Him to show you, His Glory! Or are you like Solomon and you just want wisdom. Whatever it is God is going to do it for you today! Out of all the things Moses could have asked for, He only asked God for one thing and that was to show him, His Glory, he knew everything else would be added when He chose God! When you choose God, He adds everything else that you need, and He will give you the desires of your heart!

So, what do you want today? Choose something that will last, something with substance, something that will add any value to your life! And remember, no matter where you go, the Spirit and Presence of the Lord is always right there!

Let’s Pray:
Father, today I will open my mouth and declare Your goodness before everyone that I meet. Father, today I seek to be in Your Presence and desire for You to show me Your Glory and I will sing of Your praises all the day long. I will declare I’m victorious because of what You are doing in my life, and I belong to You! Father, Thank You for Your promises and everlasting Presence that covers me and everyone that I am concerned about. Father, there is nowhere that I want to be, except in Your Presence, for Your Glory and my good, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen!

Blessings…
