Good Morning Sunshine! The Fire Of God Has Sustained You And Now You Are A Carrier Of Revival!

2 Timothy 1:6 (KJV) ~ “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee…”

Revival is not a one-time experience, it’s a lifestyle of continual surrender, daily intimacy with God, and a heart postured to receive and pour out! When God revives what was dead in you, whether a calling, a dream, or your faith, it’s your responsibility to guard that fire. The same God who restores is also the One who equips you to sustain and multiply what He’s given.

Revival must be maintained and then released. In John 15:4, Jesus gives us the secret to sustaining revival, abide! Staying connected to the Vine is not optional, it’s essential. You cannot produce lasting fruit without intimacy. If you try to walk out your revival without staying rooted in the Presence of God, you’ll burn out, dry out, or return to what He already delivered you from.

The same Spirit that revived you must now lead you. In 2 Timothy 1:6, Paul reminds Timothy to “stir up the gift.” That phrase is active, it requires movement, intentionality, discipline. Revival doesn’t stay alive by accident. You must protect your time in prayer, feed your spirit with the Word, and stay around those who provoke spiritual hunger. Don’t just experience the fire, tend to it. Fan it. Guard it. Because revival left unattended becomes a memory instead of a movement!

But sustaining revival isn’t just for personal preservation. Once you’ve been revived, you’re called to become a carrier of revival for others. Matthew 10:8 says, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” God didn’t bring you back to life so you could sit in silence. He filled you so others could encounter the deliverance and the overflow.

We see this in Elisha’s life. After he received a double portion of Elijah’s anointing (2 Kings 2:9–14), he didn’t retreat, he began to pour out. He healed water, raised the dead, multiplied oil, and broke curses. What he carried flowed outward. Even after his death, his bones revived a man who was thrown into his grave (2 Kings 13:21). That’s what revival residue looks like, power that lingers because a life was yielded!

Romans 8:19 reminds us that “the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. “The world isn’t waiting for perfect people, they’re waiting for people revived enough to respond, and bold enough to carry the fire. Your coworkers, your family, your church, and your community need what God breathed into you. You are someone else’s evidence that resurrection is real.

Yet with this power comes responsibility. You must steward your story without slipping back into your past. You must carry your bed, like the healed man in John 5, not as a place to lay back down, but as a testimony of what God brought you out of. You’re not just a healed person; you’re a living altar. Everywhere you go, people should feel what you carry: hope, healing, and the holiness of revival.

Isaiah 61:1 makes this clear: “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me… to bind up the brokenhearted… to proclaim liberty…” You were revived for others to rise too. You were restored so that someone else could believe God can restore them. Your scars are proof. Your survival is power. Your revival has purpose beyond you.

So now what do you do? You guard the fire! You give the fire! You walk as someone who’s been lit by the fire and the breath of God! Don’t let fear stop you! Don’t let fatigue silence you! Tend the flame, then take it with you!

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank You for reviving what I thought was lost. Thank You for breathing life into places I had abandoned, restoring joy where there was sorrow, and resurrecting purpose where I had given up. You didn’t just bring me back to life, you invited me to live again with fire. And now I ask You, Lord, to help me sustain what You’ve given. Teach me to abide in You and Your Word daily. Let me not stray from the Vine. When distractions pull at me, when doubt creeps in, when the enemy whispers old lies, remind me that revival is not based on my emotion, but my connection with You. Keep me tethered to Your truth, submitted to Your voice, and hungry for Your Presence. Help me stir up the gift when it grows quiet. Let prayer be my fuel, and purity be my posture. Father, don’t let this revival stop with me, let it be for my legacy as I say yes to becoming a carrier of revival. Send me to the broken places with the oil of healing. Let my words carry power. Let my story carry hope. Use my hands, my heart, and my mouth to speak life where there is death. Let me be a walking testimony of resurrection power. May those who meet me feel heaven’s touch, not because of who I am, but because I’ve been with You. Father, breathe on me daily. Burn in me deeply. Flow through me boldly. I will protect the fire. I will walk revived. And I will give away what You gave me freely. In the Mighty and Matchless Name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Your Altar Is Under Construction Now. So, That The Glory Of God Can Fall On You!

Judges 6:25-26 NKJV ~”Now it came to pass the same night that the LORD said to him, “Take your father’s young bull, the second bull of seven years old, and tear down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down the wooden image that is beside it; [26] and build an altar to the LORD your God on top of this rock in the proper arrangement, and take the second bull and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the image which you shall cut down.”

Before Glory can fall, the altar must be rebuilt. God is calling His people back to the place where sacrifice meets surrender. In this hour, He is not looking for performance or perfection from you, He is looking for altars where He can be. Not polished platforms, but places of consecration! Not routines, but rooms that have been torn down and rebuilt by His instruction. The Spirit of the Lord is saying, “Tear down what was built in compromise. Remove what you erected in fear. Strip away what was created to impress people instead of pleasing Me.” The altar, spiritually speaking, is the place where everything unnecessary to His purpose in your life dies so that Glory can live!

And for many, that altar is under construction again, not because you failed, but because God is preparing to visit you in a new way; Isaiah 43:19. When God told Gideon to tear down his father’s altar to Baal, He wasn’t just removing idolatry, He was making room for destiny. What you demolish in this season will determine what you can carry in the next. Some altars were built for convenience, but the Altar God wants is built by conviction not convenience!

He’s not asking for stones, He’s asking for hearts. God is rebuilding Altar’s not with bricks, but with brokenness! He is using humility as the foundation, worship as the structure, and surrender as the seal. If it’s uncomfortable, it’s because the Altar is not for comfort, it’s for consecration. And once the Altar is restored, the fire will fall. God is calling leaders to rebuild altars in their pulpits. He’s calling families to rebuild altars in their homes. He’s calling individuals to rebuild altars in their hearts. Because God doesn’t release Glory where there is no Altar. He doesn’t visit where there is no invitation wrapped in obedience. This is not cosmetic renovation. This is deep, spiritual deconstruction and Holy rebuilding. God is not enhancing what’s already there, He’s uprooting and laying a new foundation built by Him!

He’s not looking to be a guest in the room; He’s rebuilding the house so He can dwell in it with you! Let Him finish the work! Let Him clear the debris! Let Him lay the stones! The Altar is under construction because God’s Glory is on the way! When the Altar is ready, the Fire will fall, and what happens next won’t be done or manufactured by man, it will be marked by God’s Hands and Glory!

Let’s Pray:
Father, I bow before You in this hour of rebuilding as I feel the shaking, the tearing down, the removing all of old structures in my heart, my ministry, and my mindset. And I say, yes, Lord, I surrender to the construction process. I yield to the hammer in Your hand. If You must break down to build up, then let it be so. Father, tear down every altar I built to insecurity, pride, and self-dependence. Demolish everything I erected to satisfy my flesh or fit into the crowd. I don’t want a platform without Your Presence. I don’t want a name if it’s not written in the foundation of Your Will. Build a Holy altar in me, God. Father, lay a new foundation with purity, honesty, and truth. Reframe my thoughts with wisdom. Erect a structure in my life that can withstand the weight of Your Glory. Let my worship be the wood, and let my surrender be the sacrifice that invites Your Presence in. If You are rebuilding, it is because You plan to rest upon it. Father, I won’t rush the process! I won’t resent the tearing down! I will remain in place while You reconstruct the sacred. Teach me to embrace the dust, the delay, the chiseling. For I know that when the altar is ready, You will come, and You will come in fire. Rebuild the altar in my family. In my ministry. In my spirit. Let it be a place that draws Heaven to Earth. A place where prayers rise like incense and repentance births refreshing. A place where nothing is off-limits and everything is offered to You. Father, I welcome the weight of Your Glory, I welcome the fire of Your Presence. Let the altar be a magnet for miracles and a dwelling place for deliverance. Let this be the house that You fill, the heart that You rest on, and the life that You use. And when You come, Lord, let Your Glory fall in such a way that no man can claim it, no flesh can boast in it, and no pride can stand under it. This is Your Altar. This is Your Fire. This is Your Room. Be Glorified in it. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.

Good Morning Sunshine! Who Do You Say God Is?

Matthew 16:15 (NIV) ~ “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”

There comes a moment in every believer’s walk when God asks the same question He asked Peter: Who do you say I am? It’s not just about what you have heard in sermons, read in books, or repeated from tradition. It’s about your personal revelation, born in the fire of testing, whispered in the stillness of prayer, and confirmed by the faithfulness of God.

The names of God aren’t just titles. They are testimonies. They are the fingerprints of who He has been in every chapter of your life. When you were in need, He was Jehovah Jireh, your Provider. When anxiety gripped your mind, He was Jehovah Shalom, your Peace. When sickness tried to take hold of you, He stood as Jehovah Rapha, your Healer. When you felt alone and abandoned, He showed up as El Roi, the God who sees you. When the enemy came in like a flood, He was Jehovah Nissi, your Banner of Victory. When you had no direction, He was your Shepherd, Jehovah Rohi, leading you gently.

These names aren’t ancient echoes, they are alive today, because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). You don’t just worship the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, you worship the God of you. The One who knows your name and reveals His own name in ways tailored to your journey.

In your dry places, He is El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One, nourishing your spirit when everything else has run dry. In your hidden seasons, He is El Elyon, the Most-High God, sovereign over your silence and your promotion. When life gets noisy, confusing, and hard to interpret, He is The Word (John 1:1), the God who speaks clarity into chaos. And when your strength gives out, He is I Am, the One who becomes whatever you need, exactly when you need it!

Your worship becomes deeper when it flows from personal revelation. You may have heard Him called “Healer” in church, but when He heals your body, your praise changes. You may have heard that He is a “Way Maker,” but when you’ve watched Him open a door that no man could shut, you begin to call Him that from your soul, not just your lips. The more you know His Names, the more you know His nature. And the more you know His nature, the more you trust His heart!

Jesus asked, “Who do you say I am?” not because He didn’t know who He was, but because He wanted Peter to discover it for himself. God wants the same for you. He’s not looking for rehearsed answers; He’s looking for relationship. What you say about Him will shape how you see Him, and how you respond in the valley, in the waiting, and in the breakthrough. So, take inventory of your journey. Who has God proven Himself to be in your life? What name has carried you through the wilderness? What name brought you peace in the midnight hour? As you answer the question, your testimony unfolds. Your voice joins the great cloud of witnesses declaring: “He is my God. He is my King. He is my Hope. He is my Everything.”

Let’s Prayer,

Abba Father, I humble myself before You today. You are holy, mighty, and full of glory. I strip myself of every title, every mask, every self-made attempt to rise, and I bow low at Your feet. Your Word says in James 4:10, “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” I don’t come for position; I come for posture. I lay down pride and pick up praise. I lay down anxiety and pick up adoration. I lay down my own efforts and yield fully to Your hand. Thank You for being the God who lifts when I least expect it. You have lifted me out of pits of despair and sat me in places of peace. You have lifted my head when shame tried to bury me. You have lifted my voice when fear tried to silence me. You have lifted my faith when circumstances tried to crush me. You are the Lifter of my head (Psalm 3:3), and for that, I give You glory. Father, teach me, Lord, to remain small in my own eyes so You can be magnified through my life. Let humility be my covering and surrender be my lifestyle. Where I’ve tried to take the lead, forgive me. Where I’ve been intoxicated with applause, cleanse me. I want to walk in Your promotion, not my own production. Let my rise be holy because it came through submission. Father, I exchange elevation by man for affirmation by You. I trust You to raise me up in due time (1 Peter 5:6). Until then, I’ll worship You in the low place. I’ll praise You behind the curtain. I’ll serve You in secret. I’ll trust that everything hidden in humility will be revealed in Your timing. Let my life echo John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” Lift me, Lord, but only in ways that bring You glory. Lift my character before You lift my name. Lift my spirit before You lift my platform. Lift my faith before You lift my influence. Let Your name be exalted in everything I do. I don’t want to be seen, I want You to be seen in me. Let every testimony that flows from my life say clearly: “God did this.” In the Name of Jesus Christ, I bow low and trust You to lift me up, I pray, Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Your Miracle Just Broke Through And You Are Living In The Answer!

Isaiah 65:24 (NIV) ~ “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.”

There is a sacred shift when Heaven responds. You’ve prayed! You’ve pressed! You’ve endured the dark places, wrestled in the midnight hour, and stayed at the altar when others walked away. You’ve felt the tension of transition, the groaning, the waiting, the inner stretching that could not be explained.

But today, something in the spirit has changed: your miracle has broken through! This is not just emotional hope. It is reality. The atmosphere has shifted. The ground has opened. The answer has been released, not in theory, but in movement! What you’ve been crying and travailing for, the breakthrough you’ve been believing for, the door you’ve been standing at, has begun to open. You are not just praying anymore. You are now walking in what you once only whispered about!

Your cry didn’t fall to the ground. Heaven heard it. And now it’s Heaven’s turn to respond! The One who promised is faithful, and He’s showing up with more than you asked for. The miracle didn’t come when you felt strong, it arrived because you stayed faithful in weakness. It came because you didn’t quit in the wilderness. It came because your worship in the midnight shook something in the atmosphere. And now, the weight of your wait is turning into the wind of manifestation!

Ezekiel prophesied to dry bones. Paul sang in a prison. The virgins waited in the dark. And each one saw divine response not just because they moved, but because they believed while waiting. You didn’t miss your moment. You were being prepared for it. The oil you carried in obscurity is now lighting the way in fulfillment. God didn’t just show up with answers, He is the Answer! And He’s bringing restoration, recompense, clarity, and commissioning in His hands.

Let this be your declaration today: “I am living in the answered cry. The doors that were once shut are now open. The things that delayed are now delivered. The strength that once wavered has been renewed. The glory that felt distant is now resting upon me.” You didn’t just survive the storm. You stood in the shaking. You kept your oil. You stayed at the feet of Jesus. And now, the visitation has become habitation. The miracle has not just touched your life, it has changed you. Forever!

Let’s Pray:
Abba Father, I lift my hands in complete awe, not just because You answered, but because You sustained me until the answer came. I thank You that I am now standing in what I once wept for. I am walking in what I once could only see in the Spirit. I praise You for every “no” that led to the right “yes.” I praise You for every delay that refined my faith. I thank You that You are not just a God who responds, but a God who reveals, restores, and rewards! I declare that I will not downplay this miracle. I will not minimize this moment. I will not allow fear, shame, or old patterns to keep me from fully embracing what You’ve just birthed. I shake off the garments of survival and step boldly into the mantle of promise. This is not a glimpse, this is fulfillment. This is not just recovery, this is resurrection! I am no longer in the waiting room. I’m in the delivery room. Father, I ask You to teach me how to carry the weight of the answered prayer. Let me steward this miracle with wisdom. Let me never forget the intimacy I found in the midnight while walking in the brightness of the breakthrough. Let me stay at Your feet even now that the door has opened. Don’t let the blessing become bigger than the voice that blessed me. I speak life, over my life: This is the hour of overflow. I will drink from wells I did not dig. I will reap from fields I did not plant. I will step into rooms prepared in silence and walk through doors opened by the Spirit. The cry I released has collided with the cry of Heaven, and the sound has split the heavens open over my life. I don’t just want the miracle, I want You, Jesus. Be glorified in what You’ve done. Be lifted in how I walk from this moment forward. Let this miracle not just change my life, let it change generations. I seal this moment in praise, and I declare: I’m not going back. I’ve crossed over. I am alive. I am awakened. And I am ready. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! It’s The Moment After The Moment!

Isaiah 43:2 ~ “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”

There’s a moment before the moment, a stretch of time where you were carrying it all, barely holding it together. You were functioning, smiling on the outside, managing your responsibilities, wearing strength like a shield, but underneath, there were hidden wounds, silent infections, and fractures you couldn’t see but could certainly feel!  But you kept pushing, thinking that if you stayed busy enough, distracted enough, strong enough, maybe you wouldn’t have to deal with the ache on the inside.

You prayed prayers you barely had words for. You cried silent tears in the middle of the night. You whispered, “Lord, something’s not right…but I don’t know how to fix it.” Without even realizing it, you were being prepared for this moment! This is that moment, the moment where God, in His Grace and Mercy, said, “Enough carrying. Enough hiding. Enough pretending. Enough lying to yourself and others! It’s time to heal.”

And then came the procedure! Now, there’s a holy tension in the moments right before a procedure. The fear. The surrender. The silent acceptance that something deeper has to happen if you’re ever going to be whole. Have you ever had to have a surgical procedure, and they had to put you to sleep? (Follow me!) You feel the weight of what’s about to happen, knowing that something must be done, something must be cut away, repaired, and/or removed in order for you to live freely again, but you don’t know how He’s going to do it, but all you can say is God do it!

So, here you are, lying in this white, bright and sterile room, and if you are honest with yourself, this room can be a little intimidating (it’s the room of surrender). You could hear the subtle sounds of the medical team moving around, preparing everything for the procedure that needed to happen. You prayed one last prayer as you were lying there, trusting God, that when you wake up, your life will be different, and the pain will be stopping! You could see the end!

Then the anesthesiologist approached you with a calming voice and said, “I’m going to have you count to three.” You remember starting to count. You got to one… then two… and the next thing you knew, you weren’t in that room anymore. You opened your eyes in a completely different place; you are in the Recovery Room!

You went through it! You made it over! You survived something you didn’t even fully see or understand. What’s so prophetic about this moment is that it mirrors your life with God. There are seasons you’ve walked through where you were spiritually “under”, unaware of how deeply the Lord was working on you. There were battles you didn’t have the strength to fight. There were wounds you didn’t have the ability to heal on your own. Yet, while you were unconscious to it all, God was fully awake, fully present, fully in control.

The procedure was necessary! It involved breaking, realigning, correcting, and restoring. But notice, you did not wake up in the room where the pain began. You woke up in a place designed for healing. God never intended for you to stay in the trauma of the operation. He brought you into a new space, the recovery room. Spiritually, emotionally, mentally, you are now in a season where God is not just operating on you but is repairing, refining and restoring you! Recovery means the worst is behind you. It means the process happened, but it didn’t end you. It refined you!

Recovery is not a punishment; it is proof that healing is happening! It’s where God stabilizes what He worked on behind the scenes. It’s where He stitches you back together with grace, peace, and new strength. Sometimes it feels strange to rest when you’re so used to fighting. But this season is different. This is not the place to fight; this is the place to heal!

The same way you trusted the anesthesiologist to do his part when you counted to three, you must trust that God, the Great Physician, has already finished what He started! You didn’t even finish your count, but He finished His work; Philippians 1:6 reminds us, “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” God didn’t bring you this far to leave you incomplete. If He started it, He will perfect it!

So today, embrace your recovery room. See it for the miracle that it is. Breathe deep. You passed through the waters. You walked through the fire. The rivers did not sweep you away. The flames did not consume you. You are not in the same room you started in, because God has already brought you through! You are on the side of healing not pain!

Let’s Pray:

Father, Thank You for being the Keeper of my soul and the Healer of my wounds. Thank You for carrying me through what I could not handle on my own. Thank You that even when I was unaware and unable to comprehend the fullness of what was happening, You were fully awake, fully present, and fully working on my behalf. I praise You because the fact that I am here, awake, and in recovery means that I made it through. I am not stuck in the room of pain, but I have been transferred to the place of healing. Lord, teach me how to rest in this season. Help me not to rush the process, not to be impatient with the timing, but to trust that You are completing the work You began in me. Cover my mind and my emotions during this recovery. Protect the healing You are establishing in me. Remind me daily that recovery is not weakness, it is evidence of Your strength and Your love restoring every broken place. I yield to Your timeline. I embrace this room You’ve placed me in, knowing it is preparing me for the strength and the newness You have ahead. Thank You for being faithful. Thank You for finishing what Your work in me, even what I started. Father, I surrender my recovery into Your Hands. I trust You, Lord. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Are You Available To God?

Psalm 46:10 ~ “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

What does it really mean to you to be available to God? Does your heart have to be open for God? In the rush of daily life, you often can find yourself overwhelmed by noise, busyness, and distractions. Yet, amid the clamor, God softly calls you to a space of stillness and availability. Your heart must be receptive for this intentional pause, and you must be open His Presence in your life. Our scripture for today is a gently reminder, to be still, and know that God is God! This invitation encourages you to quiet your mind, embrace silence, and listen for the whisper of His divine guidance.

This is your call to surrender! It’s where you choose to be available to God, you are surrendering more than just your schedule, you are offering your innermost self. In Romans 12:1, you are urged to present your bodies as living sacrifices, acknowledging that every facet of your being is precious in His sight. Being available means allowing your heart to be reshaped by His love and purpose, transforming your ordinary moments into divine encounter with God!

In this space you must listen with intent, for just being available isn’t merely about stepping away from the chaos; it’s about cultivating a posture of listening to what God is saying to you. James 4:8 tells us, “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” This promise reassures you that your genuine efforts to connect with Him are met with an even greater closeness. It is in those quiet, intentional moments of prayer and reflection that you learn to discern His Will and embracing both His comfort and His correction.

With every breath that you are allowed, it is a sacred invitation from Him! God’s invitation to be available isn’t confined to a specific time or place. It echoes throughout Scripture, urging you to be ever ready to receive His Grace. Whether through a moment of prayer during a hectic morning or a silent reflection at the end of the day, you are called to create space for His transformative Presence. Let each breath that you receive today be a reminder that your life is a continuous dialogue with your Father, a conversation that requires both attentiveness and trust on your part.

As you consider what it means to be available to God in your unique way, reflect on the distractions that may keep your heart from hearing His voice and envision ways to carve out intentional moments of connection. Recognize that even routine tasks can become acts of worship when you invite His Presence into every aspect of your day, transforming ordinary moments into sacred encounters that draw you closer to His eternal love.

Let’s Pray:
Father, I come before You with an open heart, longing to be fully available to Your Presence. Help me to quiet the noise of daily life so that I may hear Your gentle whisper and discern Your guidance. Transform my routines into sacred moments of communion, and fill me with Your peace, love, and wisdom. Thank You for drawing near to me even when I falter, and for being my constant refuge and strength. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Blessings…

Good Morning Sunshine! What Would You Do Differently, If Today Was Your Last Day?

Psalm 90:12 ~ “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”

Life is a fleeting gift, and none of you are promised tomorrow. Yet, you often live as if you have an endless amount of time, putting off what truly matters, holding onto grudges, delaying your purpose, and assuming you will always have another chance. But what if today was your last day? What would you do differently?

Would you love more and forgive faster? Would you tell the people in your life how much they mean to you? Would you finally take that step of faith, pursue the calling God has placed on your heart, or let go of the burdens that have been weighing you down? “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” James 4:14!

Jesus lived every day with a purpose and on purpose! He didn’t waste time in bitterness or fear; He focused on fulfilling His mission, loving people, and glorifying the Father. If you knew today was your last, you would likely stop worrying about things that don’t truly matter and focus on the things that do! You would, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:2!

The Bible reminds us that no one knows the day or hour when their time will come. Jesus Himself warned us in Matthew 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” You are called to be ready at all times, not living in fear, but living in full faith and purpose! If there is someone you need to forgive, don’t wait! If there is love you need to express, don’t hold back! If God has placed a calling on your heart, don’t delay!

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”, Ecclesiastes 9:10! Instead of focusing on whether your cup is half-full or half-empty, simply thank God that you have a cup. Every moment He gives you is a blessing, an opportunity to glorify Him, love others, and live with gratitude. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”, 1 Thessalonians 5:18!

Whether you are in a season of plenty or a season of struggle, thank God for life itself. Embrace each day as a gift, because one day, it will be your last. Live every day to its fullest. Love deeply, forgive quickly, serve wholeheartedly, and seek God above all else. Because when your final day comes, may you stand before Him knowing that you lived a life with no regrets, fully surrendered to His Will and Purpose!

Food for thought: If today was your last day, what would you do differently? Don’t wait until it’s too late, there will be no more I wish I “woulda, coulda or shoulda”, it will be too late, so start today! Live with purpose! Love without hesitation! And seek God above all else. Because one day, today might be your last. Will you be ready to hear what you confess all the time, Servant Well done!

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank You for the gift of this day. I recognize that life is fragile, and tomorrow is never promised. Teach me to number my days so that I may live with wisdom, purpose, and urgency. Help me to focus on what truly matters and not be distracted by the temporary worries of this world. Father, if today were my last day, I want to know that I lived in a way that honors You. If there is unforgiveness in my heart, help me to release it. If there are words of love and encouragement I need to say, give me the courage to speak to them. If there are steps of faith I have been delaying, help me to move forward in obedience. I don’t want to waste the time You have given me; I want to live every moment for Your Glory. Father, I surrender my plans, my fears, and my distractions to You. Let me not take a single breath for granted. Fill me with a heart that loves unconditionally, forgives freely, and serves joyfully. May my life be a reflection of Your grace and truth. Father, help me to live each day in a way that, if today were my last, I would have no regrets. Father, I pray for those who do not know You yet. If there is someone in my life who needs to hear about Your love, give me boldness to share the Gospel. Let me not put off what is most important. I desire to make the most of every opportunity to serve, to love, and to glorify You. Help me to be content and grateful, whether my cup is overflowing or nearly empty. Thank You, Lord, that I even have a cup, for every breath, every blessing, and every opportunity to live for You. Whether my circumstances are joyful or challenging, let me always have a heart of thanksgiving. Father, Thank You for each and every moment that You have given me. Whether my time on this earth is long or short, let me be found faithful. And when my last day does come, may I step into eternity knowing I lived fully for You. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Have a Blessed Weekend……

Good Morning Sunshine! Not Every Yes Is God’s Yes, Know The Difference!

Proverbs 14:12 ~ “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”

In life, there will be opportunities that will present themselves to you, they will sound good, look good, and seem like they’re God-sent! A promotion at work, an invitation to lead a new group, or even the chance to volunteer in a ministry, all these things can appear beneficial on the surface. But have you ever stopped to ask, “Is this God’s will for my life?” For when you say yes to everything that sounds good, you run the risk of stepping out of God’s perfect plan for your life.

Not every door is meant for you to walk through, and not every invitation that you receive is meant to be accepted! (This is a lesson that you don’t want to learn the hard way, and if I can be transparent for a moment, I learned this lesson the hard way one time and that is why I am sharing it with you! You only want God’s yes!) You see sometimes, what seems like a blessing can become a distraction, so you need to always pray for discernment, pause and be patient and allow God time to speak to you! And please whatever you do, don’t overcommit yourself because you want to please someone, for this will leave you overwhelmed, burnt out, discouraged and disconnected from God!

I want to tell you a story about a young lady and a seasoned woman. There was a young lady who was sitting in a waiting room, her knee bouncing with impatience. She had sent out three job applications last week and had not heard anything back. She felt like her prayers had been met with silence! She felt like God had forgotten all about her. A seasoned woman who was sitting by her said, “Sounds like you’re waiting on something big,” the woman said kindly. She gave the seasoned woman a weak smile; and said “I’ve been praying for weeks, and nothing is moving. I’m trying, but I just don’t understand why God hasn’t answered yet.”

The seasoned woman leaned forward in the chair; her voice soft but steady. “Honey, do you know how long Joseph waited after God gave him the dream that he’d lead others?” She shook her head no. Then the seasoned woman said, “Thirteen years, and most of that time, he was in prison or bondage. But Joseph never lost his faith, and in God’s perfect timing, he went from the pit to the palace.” (Read Genesis chapters 37-50). So, did you read and hear that, he went from the pit to the palace, thirteen years later, he had to wait on God! Take notes, sometimes you have to wait for the promise! Joseph trusted God, even when he was crying out in his darkest moments, he remained faithful, trusting that God was working even when nothing seemed to be happening.

Here is a lesson you need to learn in life, God’s delays are not His denials. Sometimes He says, ‘Pause.’ Sometimes, ‘Be patient.’ And He says to always, ‘Pray.’ (Ephesians 6:18 & 1 Thessalonians 5:17)! For when you rush ahead of His timing, you might settle for less than what He has prepared for you. But when you wait, His plan will exceed anything that you can imagine! Yes, it is easy to want a quick answer and instant solutions, but is this really God’s Will for your life? When you find yourself here, remember this scripture, Isaiah 40:31, “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” This verse will carry you through tough times and remind you of the Word of God that you had forgotten, to trust God!

The seasoned woman smiled and shared one last thought. “Waiting isn’t just sitting around doing nothing, it’s about actively trusting God while you wait and worship. While you wait, serve others. While you wait, let God refine you. The waiting season is often where God prepares you for the blessing to come.” Consider Jesus Christ life, He had endless opportunities to say yes to people, miracles, and ministry, but He didn’t allow Himself to be led by popularity, urgency, or pressure. Instead, He was led by His Father, John 5:19, Jesus said, “The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing.” Even Jesus aligned His yes with God’s direction. Let your yes align with God and you won’t say yes to the wrong thing!

When you lean into God and seek Him in prayer, He will guide you towards what is truly meant for you. Saying yes to His plans, whether big or small, will yield peace, provision, and purpose. Saying yes to everything else often results in chaos, regret, or wasted time. You need to learn how to Pause and Pray! Ask God for clarity and guidance, Proverbs 3:6 reminds us, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Learn the Word of God so that you are not carried off astray by the world! Be Obedient, and when God says go, step forward! When He says no or wait, trust Him! Learn your place in His plan! The Lord has a unique role for you, and when you remain faithful to it, you create room for His blessings to overflow in your life. God honors those who trust Him, even when they have to say no to someone or something that seemingly sounds or looks good. Remember, if it’s not God’s yes, it’s not your yes!

So, the young lady closed her eyes and whispered a prayer, “Father, forgive me for my impatience. Help me to trust You and wait on Your perfect plan. Teach me to worship while I wait, knowing You are faithful to Your promises.” And it was at that moment when she opened her eyes, and she noticed the room seemed quieter, her thoughts were aligned to God’s Word and she heard the seasoned woman say these words, “Pause. Be Patient. Pray.” The young lady may have not had all the answers, but she had the peace of God! She realized the waiting season wasn’t a punishment for her, it was preparation for what God had in store for her, and it would be worth the wait, and she was ready to walk forward in faith, trusting Him with her future. So, today are you ready? To Pause! Be Patient! Pray Always! Await the Promises! For His Word over you is true, trust the process and await the promise!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You for being a God of wisdom and order. Help me to discern the difference between a good opportunity and Your Perfect Will. Teach me to listen for Your guidance before saying yes to anything. Give me Your peace when I need to say no and strength to follow where You lead. May my obedience bring You Glory and bless the path You’ve prepared for me. Thank You Father for reminding me that life’s timing is not my own. Help me to stop and be still when I’m overwhelmed, to embrace Your patience in my seasons of waiting, and to come to You in prayer with every concern. Teach me to trust You fully, knowing that Your ways are higher than mine. Strengthen my faith as I wait, and let my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Father, Thank You for sustaining and strengthening me through this process. Father, as I am praying today, I invite You into every area of my life and I pray that You will align my heart’s desires with Your Will, Philippians 4:6 encourages us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Father it is through prayer, that I acknowledge that I can’t do it all on my own. Father, I surrender my plans and worries to You, for You hold my future in Your Hands. Father, Thank You for reminding me that the waiting season is never wasted when I put my trust in You. Help me to pause and rest in Your Presence, to be patient as You work behind the scenes, and to pray with confidence at all times, knowing that You hear me, I trust that Your plans for me are good and pleasing to You. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Close The Door And Trust What God Says To Do In Secret, That You Might Receive Openly!

Thank You Father, for this devotional being developed in the darkroom, may it bless every heart and eye that sees it today, in Jesus Name!

Matthew 6:6 NKJV~ “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”

Have you ever felt invisible, as though the progress you’re making or the struggles you’re enduring go unnoticed? Be encouraged: what’s unseen by others is not unseen by God. Just as a seed germinates in the hidden depths of the soil before bursting forth into the sunlight, so too does the Lord’s work in you blossom at the appointed time.

Let’s talk about what happens when a photographer goes into the darkroom! When a photographer develops film, the process doesn’t happen in the glare of bright light but in the still, dark confines of the darkroom. It’s in that unseen space where hidden details emerge, shadows blend into substance, and the artist’s work becomes visible. The darkroom isn’t a place of chaos or neglect it’s a space of intentionality, precision, and transformation. Likewise, God’s work in your life may unfold outside of public eyes, it is going to happen in the quiet and private spaces where only He can see you!

Our scripture is the prelude into the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13) and it is there to remind you that your growth, transformation, and connection to the God thrives in those unseen moments of prayer and devotion. What’s done in secret is your place of intimacy with God. When you pray, close the door. This directive implies more than physical separation from the world; it is telling you to shut out distractions, quiet your restless mind, and meet God heart-to-heart. The unseen room, whether it’s a real space or a still moment in your day, becomes the sacred ground where God’s love holds you and molds you!

What is cultivated in secret carries the greatest reward; (this is not about man’s award to you) this is about God and what Rewards He has just for you! In those quiet places, you will discover that the holding power of God’s Word is greater than the pressures of this world! When you choose to prioritize your unseen communion with your Father, He aligns your desires with His purpose, (Philippians 2:13!) He strengthens you for the public battles and blesses you in ways far beyond what you could imagine.

Sometimes, though, the waiting can feel long, and the unseen work can feel heavy. But it is during these seasons that God wants you to take heart to what is said in the Word, Galatians 6:9: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Trust that God’s timeline is perfect, and His plans for you, though hidden now, will bear fruit in due season! The work that God has begun in secret is a promise of the abundant harvest to come to come into your life! So, remember 1 Peter 5:6-7: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” In your hidden moments, know that you are never alone; God cares deeply and is always at work!

So, when you feel like you are having a darkroom moment, ask God to help you be still and not fidget, just know that He is shaping you and your faith for the journey ahead!  You need to be intentional during this time and seek God in prayer and stillness. You also need to trust God completely of every area of your life that you feel is being hidden or you are uncertain of it! God is holding you in the secret place! Trust the work that He is doing in you in your secret place! You’re hidden, but you are being held in the Hands of God! Just imagine how you are going to look and feel when He finishes developing you!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Thank You Father, for allowing me another day! Thank You for seeing me, even in the quietest and most hidden parts of my life. Father forgive me for not trusting You in the darkroom when and where You were developing me for my destiny! Father, help me to trust Your work in those unseen places of my heart. Teach me to rest in Your Presence,  and to receive Your Peace and to know that You are holding and transforming me into the who and what You’ve called me to be! Father, strengthen and stir up my faith when I’m tempted to doubt, and give me the patience to wait for Your perfect timing. Father, help me to fully surrender all of my anxieties to You, trusting in Your care and provision as my one and only true Provider! Father, may my time spent in secret with You overflow into a life that glorifies You publicly. Father, grant me the courage to trust You even when I don’t understand the process, knowing that You are working all things out for Your Glory and for my good. Father, and most importantly help me to remember that the hidden work that You are doing in my heart will one day bring me home to You and for Your Glory. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! It’s Time To See Pass What You Are Looking For, So That You Can See It!

1 Kings 18:41-44 NIV ~ “And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” [42] So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. [43] “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” [44] The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.”

Have you ever prayed fervently for something but felt discouraged when you didn’t see any visible sign of it? It’s so easy to be discouraged when you are looking at circumstances through your natural eyes and you can’t see anything with your spiritual eyes yet! But God! I was listening to a sermon today by Pastor Tomi Arayomi, called “This Is That Moment” and he said that we are always looking with our natural eyes, so we miss seeing what God wants us to see with our spiritual eyes!” Stop looking and start seeing! (I will attach the sermon at the end)!

Let’s get back to the devotion. In this story of Elijah praying for rain, it shows you the importance of seeing with spiritual eyes through faith in God’s promises, rather than being limited by what you can perceive with our natural eyes and senses. In 1 Kings 18, the land of Israel had suffered a severe drought for three years. The heavens were like bronze, and the ground was parched. But Elijah, held on to the Word of God, he knew that rain was coming! After defeating Ahab’s prophets of Baal and calling the people back to God, Elijah went to the top of Mount Carmel, bowed down to the ground and put his head between his knees and prayed earnestly for rain to come!

Elijah sent his servant to look toward the sea for any sign of rain. He went six times, and each time he brought back the same report “There is nothing.” However, Elijah was persistent, and not because the skies looked promising, but because he had a promise from God. So, he told him to go back and look again, this is the seventh time, and this time the servant returned a different tune, he saw a small cloud, no larger than a man’s hand, rising from the sea!  He was no longer looking; he saw the evidence that rain was coming! (Just wait, you will see the hand of the Lord move on your behalf!) That tiny cloud was enough for Elijah to know that the rain was imminent. Why? Because Elijah wasn’t looking at the natural circumstances; he was seeing the fulfillment of God’s promise with spiritual eyes!

There is a story about a Pastor, who planted a bamboo tree. For five years, there was no sign of growth, yet he faithfully tended to it and watered it every day. He explained that even though nothing was happening on the surface, the bamboo was growing deep roots underground. Then in the sixth year, the bamboo shot up over 80 feet tall! For six years, nothing! For Elijah six attempts, nothing, the servant saw no evidence of change, but Elijah knew God was working! Say it with me, on the seventh look, the small cloud appeared, and it ushered in an abundant downpour! God is building something greater in you and He has to make sure your roots are strong, fortified and connected beneath the surface in your life! He has to strengthen your faith, prepare circumstances, and align the people and opportunities that you need before you are seen!

I know it’s easy to give up when you don’t see immediate results, but I want you to be like Elijah and the bamboo planter, you must be persistent! Trust that God’s promises are never void and that the “rain” He has spoken over your life is coming, be patient! It’s in His Timing! Today, when you look at your life don’t be discouraged by what you are looking at with your natural eyes? See the rain coming in your finances, your relationships, and in those unanswered prayers. I know that your human sight can fail to detect the evidence of God’s Hand at first, but just remember It’s never nothing, but it’s coming soon! You will see! Trust the Process of God! Remember, what the Word of God says in, Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith invites you to align your vision with God’s Word rather than your circumstances.

Elijah is teaching you to pray persistently and expectantly, even when you don’t see immediate results. Like him, you can trust that the God who spoke the promise will fulfill it in His perfect timing! The cloud may seem small and insignificant, but it carries the potential for an abundant outpouring! Pray persistently and refuse to give up, even when you see no immediate results. Trust that God is working behind the scenes and around the corner! Be on the lookout to see the small signs of His faithfulness, no matter how little it may seem. Celebrate the glimpses of hope as evidence that God’s promises are in motion. Finally, speak words of faith over your circumstances, just as Elijah confidently proclaimed rain before it came. By aligning your actions and words with God’s promises, you position yourself to encounter His abundant blessings in His perfect timing!

Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” Let this reminder strengthen your resolve to pray without ceasing, knowing that persistent faith moves the heart and hand of God. Today, ask yourself, are you focusing only on the “nothing” you see, or are you standing in faith for the “cloud” of God’s promise? Look again, your breakthrough might already be on the horizon, now tell me what you see!

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank You! Thank You for opening up my eyes to see a brand new day! It is beautiful and I’m grateful! Thank You Father for being so faithful to Your Word even when my natural eyes cannot see it. You are the God who hears all of my prayers and works in ways beyond me to bring them to pass! Father strengthen my faith to trust Your promises, in every seasons of waiting. Help me to persist in prayer, to look beyond the “nothing” that I see, and to believe that You are working all things together for my good. Father, open my spiritual eyes to recognize the small signs of Your faithfulness and to celebrate them as evidence of what’s to come. And Father, when I grow weary or discouraged, remind me that Your timing is always perfect. Fill me with hope, patience, and joy, knowing that what You have spoken over my life will not return void. Give me the courage to continue praying and trusting, even when the answers feel distant. Father, let Your Spirit empower me to walk in obedience and to speak in faith over my life and circumstances. Father, I am praising You in advance for the rain of Your blessings, for the miracle’s unseen, and for the abundant harvest to come in my life. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Blessings…
