Good Morning Sunshine! God Knew You First!

Psalm 119:67 KJV~ “Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.”

Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV ~ “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Hello there, yes I speaking to you! Yes you, you are the one reading this devotion and God is trying to get your attention today!

God knew you before you knew you, He even knew when you were going to go astray because of your afflictions! But God! But God, because He knew you first, He knew that you would come back to Him and His Word! God knows what you don’t know, it’s just that simple! God knows that you are destined to be the difference maker, you just had to go through it to the other side where your breakthrough is! It may take you an extra minute or two, but don’t panic, God got you!

You are a difference-maker created for God’s divine purpose! Here’s a transparent moment for you, after many failed attempts at suicide, I came to know God and He revealed to me that mt story was going to bring Him Glory! God used everything I hated to accomplish what He loves. Romans 8:28-29! God orchestrated every step of your life for His divine assignment, and He interrupted the enemy at every given point to make you better! God hand crafted you, He is the Creator, and the Manufacturer and He designed you with purpose and for purpose! He made you to do His good work and His Glory and He did it all in advance of you! It is to Glorify Him!

Your Father is talking to you today! He is saying, He is the Great I Am, and He has proven Himself time and time again in your life, He’s the One that had that great thought about you before He put you in your mother’s womb, and He’s been the One watching over you ever since then, God has never left you, not even for one second! This should make you joyful!

I know that sometimes you may think that there is one thing after another going on in your life, but nothing has been wasted, God used every affliction to draw you to Him, to His Word, to His place of prayer, the place where you meet with Him! God used everything to get you to where you are today, front and center with Him! God created you and established your path before you were born, and He gave you the experiences so that you would know that you can’t live without Him!

God loves you and He doesn’t want you to go through one more crisis wavering back and forward. God wants you to be sure of your secure foundation which is founded on the truth of His Holy Word, if God didn’t love you, He would not have chosen to die on the cross for you, now that’s an attention getter, just think about it, no one else would have made this type of sacrifice, unless it was truly love, a divine love! God wants what is best for you and this is why He corrects and disciplines you when you dishonor His name, it’s all for your good and His Glory!

God handpicked you and gave you to Jesus and He saved you and gave you a new heart, new identity, new Spirit, and a new zeal for life. Step into That is the good works He prepared in advance for you to do in order to glorify Him. In other words, you are here to make a difference because you are the difference-maker!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Father today I will be intentional and persistent in my prayer walk with You. Father, I will seek Your direction in every area! Father, I love talking and being with You and I know that You love when I’m loving on You. Thank You Father for being ready and willing to answer my honest and unselfish prayer request, for Your Glory! In Jesus Christ Name! Amen!!!

Good Morning Sunshine! Trust The Process, Path, Plan And The Promises Of God!

Proverbs 3:5 ~ “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.”

Psalm 16:11 a ~ “You make known to me the path of life.”

Psalm 37:23 ~ “The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;”

Psalm 119:105 ~ “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

2 Corinthians 1:20 ~ “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

Over and over and over again, in God’s Word is your the life map, the one that He mapped out for you in the beginning. Each and every day that He gives you breath, He provides for you, He will show you the path, He will direct your steps, if you let Him and He will provide light for the journey through His Word. You can trust and believe this! You are living in times where you can see and hear one thing today and tomorrow it’s something totally different. So who and what do you trust or believe in?

Where would you be if you had not listened and followed God? The key is in the Word of God, and you have to rely on the map they He has provided for you, there is no other way! Because of God’s love for you it doesn’t matter if you have been that you had a time of wandering off the mapped-out plan, you are following Him now, and He has a way of redeeming lost time! You have to trust Him when you understand His will and when you don’t, you have to believe that He can light your path as you move forward.

Yesterday, when I came back from lunch all the cars were facing forward, like they had back in and there was one spot left. Now I thought about backing in so that I could be like everyone else and then I heard, “don’t be afraid to go against the grain. Just because everyone one had done it a certain way doesn’t mean make it right!” So, I pulled in, facing forward! So, if you ever felt like you were going against the grain? Don’t be afraid to go against the grain, you just have to trust God and His Word! He knows best, He wants you to walk in the right way, face forward! This is good news!

If I could just be honest and transparent this morning, some of the hard times I’ve had was because I wanted to do things my way and not follow God! But thank God, He protected and kept me in His Grace and Mercy! You have to confess and repent and turn to God and trust His plan! And if you would be honest, I’m sure you have done the same thing too, but thanks be unto God, that we serve a God of more than enough chances!

I know that we are all works in progress, but please stop using that as an excuse to keep going wrong! You are in the sanctification process, and none of us have arrived, we all make mistakes, Romans 3:23, and when you do, don’t beat yourself up, let the conviction cause you to confess and repent, then dust off, stand up and invite God to come in and have His Way! Trust Him, not your emotions!

I want you to say today’s scriptures out loud! Don’t trust yourself or nobody else, trust in God and don’t lean to your own understanding! You can only trust in the Lord! Trust Him with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, but acknowledge God in all your ways and you will be successful! When you are getting ready for a race, there is the caller that says this to you, “Ready, Set, Go! Today, God is saying, Be “Ready” and Trust Me, Get “Set” in your Position, and Don’t go your way, but “Go” My Way, Trust the Process, Path, Plan and Promises from Me, and just know that for you are in My Capable Hands!

Let’s Pray:
Father, Thank You! Father, I want to get life right and be on the right path! Help me to trust Your process, path, plan and promises that You have laid out for me in Your Word! The Map, The Bible, “Biblical Instructions Before Leaving Earth!” For in Your Word everything that I need is provided to instruct me in living a Holy and Righteous life! Father, thank You redeeming the time that I lost when I was wandering around and not following Your plan for me. Father today, all of my hope is in You, for I know that You are lighting my path for all the days of my life. Father, I am praying for Your strength and Your guidance as I move forward in the purpose that You have set in place for this day. May I hear Your Voice ever so clearly! Father, let me see You in the eyes of everything around me and help me to Trust Your way and not mines or other’s. Father, help me to have patience as I walk and wait on You to help me. Father, also help me to have compassion on others as they grow. Father, let my life serve as a witness to others that You are my everything and that I have put all of my trust in You and that I’m following Your lead and not my own! Help me to continue to grow from level-to-level faith to faith. In the Name of Jesus Christ Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! It’s Praying Time!

1 Timothy 2:1, 3-4 KJV~ “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; [3] For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; [4] Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

Today, I’m offering up prayer on your behalf, and I want you to do the same thing for someone else. God has equipped you to be a prayer warrior, we need to pray for one another as our Father has taught us! And let’s not offer a selfish prayer with you in mind, but pray that all would come to know Jesus Christ, repent, turn from their wicked ways, surrender to Him, and seek His face daily!

Father, today, I come to You right now on behalf of every one that will see, hear and pray this prayer. First, I repent of all my sins, and I ask You to forgive me, so that the prayer that I’m praying right now will not be hindered but will smell like a sweet incense unto You. Father, I lift up my brothers and sisters to You, fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be refresh in there, spirit, soul and body. Father, You are their Rock, they can take refuge in You! You are their shield and the horn of their salvation. Father, thank You for being their stronghold, and Savior!

Father, guide them along the right paths for Your Name’s sake. I pray that when they walk through the darkest valley, they will fear no evil, for You are with them; Your rod and Your staff will uplift, comfort and bless them, In Jesus Christ Name! Father, You know about every one of their needs and I thank You, that You are meeting them according to Your will and plan for their lives. Bless them with wisdom, peace, good health, finances, direction, strength, love and all the things that they are in need of in this present moment!

Father, give them a heart to forgive, heal all broken relationships, problems in their homes and families, issues on their jobs and in their ministries. Give them revelation that can only come from You! May they hear Your voice, like never before and follow it with all their hearts. Restore the joy of their salvation to those who are laboring, Father, may the joy of the Lord flood over them and help them to serve You with a newness of heart and spirit. Father, I pray that they are not anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let them present their requests to You.

Father, I declare peace and joy in the hearts of Your people! I proclaim that You will bless Your children and will keep them; You will make Your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them! I pray against all the plans of the enemy that would try to steal their joy and peace from You! Father, I’m praying for them in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit! In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! It’s Time For You To Open Your Mouth And Pray!

Luke 19:40-44 AMP ~ “Jesus replied, “I tell you, if these [people] keep silent, the stones will cry out [in praise]!” [41] As He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it [and the spiritual ignorance of its people], [42] saying, “If [only] you had known on this day [of salvation], even you, the things which make for peace [and on which peace depends]! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. [43] For a time [of siege] is coming when your enemies will put up a barricade [with pointed stakes] against you and surround you [with armies] and hem you in on every side, [44] and they will level you to the ground, you [Jerusalem] and your children within you. They will not leave in you one stone on another, all because you did not [come progressively to] recognize [from observation and personal experience] the time of your visitation [when God was gracious toward you and offered you salvation].”

Sometimes what God has done for you is so completely praiseworthy, but you fail to notice it, and you miss out on the perfect opportunity to praise and worship the Lord. But today, you will cry out to God in praise so that the rocks don’t cry out on your behalf.

You are so much like the children of old, you have not been truly discerning the seasons that you are in, you have eyes, but you don’t see, you have ears, but you don’t hear, and you have a heart, but you have not recognized that Jesus Christ is coming! Because if you had we would be more mindful of our prayer life! You have failed to discern the day of His visitation! The distraction of this world today is designed to pull you away from God, it uses people, places, and things that are pleasing to your eye gates to draw you into sin, making you desire less of God and more of the world, it has blurred your vision, and this makes it hard for you to see and hear the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

This scripture is also a reminder that you need to have discernment and discipline to pray like you never have before, so that you do not miss the time of your visitation from God! God is moving upon your land in a distinctive way, and it’s time to rebuild your prayer life, for when destruction hits you will know how and what to pray and you will be prepared for when Jesus comes! I know that you hear so much about things being new in ministry, new this and new that, but what have you heard about prayer? When will prayer be the main focus and not the newest person or pastor that has emerged! All of this sounds good, but it doesn’t sound like Prayer! It’s Time To Pray! Now I’m not saying that you are not praying but what I’m saying is I’m not seeing the urgency of prayer, prayer that is breaking chains and strongholds and seeing signs, wonders and miracles! There needs to be a Sense of Urgency in Prayer and for Prayer!

It is time to gird up your loins and make haste to Pray, in this hour you need to be close to God and you must be disciplined and deliberate, so that you are not drawn away from God because of the environment that you live in that does everything to keep you distracted and distant from Him! It’s time for your spiritual discernment to rise, for you need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and walk in the coming Revival that is about to take place! In order to do this, you must be about the Word of God and be sons and daughters of prayer! You must be able to discern the times and seasons when God will come back to visit His children, for He is coming back!

God is calling you to His holy house, to be in prayer and in fellowship with Him. It’s time to gather together with other prayer warriors and be on one accord and pray. As you enter, you will be ushered into prayer with God. You do know that prayer is the pulse and heartbeat of every humble servant of God! It’s Praying Time! It’s time for you to open up your mouth and pray and worship God so that the rocks don’t do it on your behalf. So, today, stop, drop and pray!

Let’s Pray:

Father, Thank You! Father, teach me to pray and that I will pray according to Your Will. Father, I pray for greater discipline and discernment that I recognize the times and seasons that I’m living in and that I will know how to pray and what to pray for! Father, I desire more of You and Your Word, fill me with Your Presence and Your Spirit! Father, please remove the scales from my eyes, touch my heart so that I may understand, and quicken my ears to hear You, so that I won’t miss Your Second Coming, because I’m so wrapped up in what I want! Father, I pray that I will pray with a sense of urgency in my prayer life, to pray that chains and strongholds are being broken off of our lives and that we encounter Your signs, wonders and miracles in Prayer as I pray. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen and Thank You Jesus!

He says He is the Great I Am, He has proven Himself time and time again in your life, He’s the One that had that great thought about you before He put you in your mother’s womb, and He’s been watching over you ever since then, God has never left you, not even for one second! Good Morning Sunshine! Can You Say To God, No Matter How Long, I’m Going To Praise You Because You Have Been So Good To Me!

Psalm 13:1-6 NIV ~ “How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? [2] How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me? [3] Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death, [4] and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall. [5] But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. [6] I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.”

Have you ever said to yourself, where is God while I’m going through all of this stuff? Have you ever asked God how long will I have to be in this place before you come and rescue me? Maybe it’s just me, because I’ve asked God how long I must wrestle with these thoughts of mine, asking Him to please take them away! I know it’s hard being transparent in these times, so we suffer silently, hoping and praying for a better day!

But God! God is always there even when you don’t feel Him, He’s right there with you! It’s okay to share with God how you feel, because He already knows, He’s just been waiting on you to release it. Because all you need to do is have a talk with your Jesus and He will help you put everything into perspective. One of my friends shared this Psalm with me and it was everything that I had been saying and thinking!

David said this phrase how long four times in the first two verses, this tells me that he was in deep distress, and he needed answers and help. He felt like he had been forgotten and was invisible! (Have you ever felt like this? You don’t have to answer me, but at least be honest with yourself! When you are going through stuff doesn’t mean that you don’t love God or that you did anything wrong, you are just going through it at the moment. But God)! David expressed his anxiety and sorrow to God, (He sought the Lord, He heard Him and He answered Him) and he found strength in the Lord!

Offer up a sacrificial praise to God! Praise Him! Worship Him and watch what happens! By the end of David’s prayer, he was able to profess hope and trust in God. Psalm 7:17 NIV, “I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the LORD Most High. Through prayer we can express our feelings and talk our struggles out with God. He will help you regain the right perspective, and this gives you peace! (Habakkuk 3:17-19). This is who you can call on! Jesus! Jesus Christ is His Name!

Can you say this with me. “What A Friend I Have In Jesus!” There is No One else with Power from on High, that I can take all of my problems to in prayer, and He answers them. There is Power in being a friend of Jesus! Sing with me: “What a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry Everything to God in Prayer. Oh, what peace we often forfeit. Oh, what needless pain we bear. All because we do not carry Everything to God in Prayer. Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged. Take it to the Lord in Prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful, Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness. Take it to the Lord in prayer, Carry everything to God in Prayer.”

You need a best friend like this, one you can tell everything to, all of your secrets and not feel judged? Try Him, God is the best friend that you can ever have! Just one call and He will answer you! His line is never busy! Call on the Name of Jesus Christ and watch what happens! This song talks about God as your friend, but it’s more than that, it’s about your Prayer.

Life, you can take all your prayer request and secrets to Him, you know the one’s that you would never say out loud, as a matter of fact, it’s the one that you are thinking about right now, give that request to God, your best friend, right now in prayer and watch how the Power of God shows up and move in your life! God is only a prayer call away! Ephesians 6:18 KJV ~ “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

My sisters and brothers, it’s time to make that call, call on Jesus, He answers prayer! You can take everything to God in prayer! Tell Him all about it, He’s the only One that can answer all your request!

Father, Father, I just want to say Thank You! It’s a privilege to have You as my Best Friend! Father, teach me how to pray Your Word according to Your Will and Your Way! Father, today I’m going to pray about everything, I pray that Your Holy Spirit will lead and guide me, it’s by Your Spirit that I move and have my being! Father, Thank You for being my Friend and answering my prayer request today! I’m walking, waiting and watching in great expectations of what I’m going to experience because I’m Abiding in my Great, Great Master, Jesus Christ. I pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Can’t Nobody Tell Your Story Of What The Lord Has Done For You, But You!

Psalm 66:16-20 MSG ~ “All believers, come here and listen, let me tell you what God did for me. I called out to him with my mouth, my tongue shaped the sounds of music. If I had been cozy with evil, the Lord would never have listened. But he most surely did listen, he came on the double when he heard my prayer. Blessed be God: he didn’t turn a deaf ear, he stayed with me, loyal in his love.”

Part 3! Wednesday, you sought the Lord and He heard you and He answered you. Yesterday, He answered you while you were still speaking! And today you need to tell someone what the Lord did for you! This song, Trust God, has moved me to another place in God! The more I say I sought the Lord, the more I want to call upon His Name. For not only did He hear me, but He answered me! Can’t nobody do you like Jesus! And can’t nobody tell your story like you can, they might forget the most important details. (That Jesus Did It!) The Word of God says that you will be known by your testimony! What is your testimony? What has the Lord done for you? Can’t nobody do you like Jesus!

Are you a believer? This Psalm is a call out for believers, those who confess that they love God, and those who truly fear Him, means that you respond in awe and wonder to the Lord! But there is something that can hinder and block you from having an effective prayer life, that is habitual and ongoing sin in your life. When you turn from God and rely on yourself, you are choosing to cherish sin in your heart and the Lord will not listen to your prayers. You have to repent to God and He will hear you and answer you and forgive you, (Acts 3:19)! You know the older saints knew how to call on the Lord, they knew just what to do and say to get His attention. You need to look back and see what they did that you might do it now!

What a wonderful privilege you and me have been given, you are able to go to bed at night and awake in the morning with the blessed assurance that all is right because of God! This did not happen because you did everything correct, and you never committed sin. Nope, it’s because you have been forgiven and washed by the Blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10:22, 1 John 1:7) that was poured out as an offering on the cross for your sin; even when you didn’t know that you needed it or deserved it your forgiveness is because of the love of God, and this is by His Grace and Mercy towards you! It’s because of Him that you are made righteous, and it is your obligation to submit to His Will and live for Him every day!

You are now in Christ, live each day with the commitment to bring honor to Him and to lead others to him. Seek the Lord, He is listening out for you, He hears your cry, He is holding you by His Righteous Right Hand, (Isaiah 41:10), He wants to lift you up, He wants to answer you! So, when it feels like life is squeezing you in on every side, call out to God. He promises to sustain you when you put your trust in Him. For when you are weak, He is strong and this makes you strong, (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)! It is a blessing when God answers prayers and It’s a greater blessing when you see it and recognize it for what it is, that it was God and God alone that did this for you! This is where you praise God for it! This is where you tell someone about what God has done for you! Do you have a testimony of a prayer that God answered for you, one that you know that if God didn’t do it, it couldn’t be done! Your testimony can do two things, encourage the believer and draw the nonbeliever to Him! Open your mouth tell somebody your story, they need to hear it, (Revelations 12:11)!

Say this out loud to yourself everyday day and all throughout the day…” trust You God, I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and He answered me, and He delivered me from all my fears, and He will never fail me, and that is why I will always put and keep my trust in God!”

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Thank You for loving me so much that you gave your Son who knew no sin of his own to become sin for me so that I might become righteousness in him. Father Thank You for making me into who I am, I know that I am what I am by Your Grace and I’m praising You for everything! Father this is my prayer every day for the rest of my life, I sought You Lord, and You heard me and You answered me and You moved me to where You want me to be. Father, my soul seeks You and I long to commune with You! Father thank You for answering me when I called You, Thank You for never leaving me to myself! Father, You have won every battle of sin when You went to the cross. May I always stand firm and give myself fully to the work of Your Kingdom! Father, take everything away from me that is not pleasing to You for I want my life to please You and to bring Glory to Your Holy Name! In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! God Is Answering You! Glory Hallelujah!

Isaiah 65:24 AMP ~ “It shall also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.”

Today is part 2! Yesterday you sought the Lord and He heard you and He answered you. Today He’s answering you while you are still speaking! This is where you should be and done broke out in a praise dance for what the Lord is doing on your behalf! The answer to your prayers is prepared before you pray. The desire to talk to the Lord about your needs comes from Him! Prayer begins with the mind of God, then it invades your mind, then moves you directly into what He wants and then is articulated in your words. He is more ready to hear you than you are ready to pray!

Do you see what God is doing on your behalf! You see He is the only One that knows your next thought and need, even before you ask for it and He’s answering while you are still speaking! Isaiah 58:9-11, “Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, [10] and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. [11] The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”

Do you know that your will has been liberated from bondage and you have been transformed by the cross and filled with the Spirit so that you can experience a deep impulse to pray. It is the Lord who motivates you to pray, and it is birthed in your soul so that the One who created you can commune with you and You with Him because of love. In John 4:19, the Word says, “We love Him because He first loved us.” He is the initiator of prayer. In prayer, He makes known to you what His will is so that you can ask Him for what He longs to give you in the first place! God is calling you into His Presence because He has the answer to your prayer request. The Word says, if you ask anything according to His will, He hears you!

You can be assured today that He hears you and then He answers you. This is what gives you confidence and the boldness that you can have in your prayer life, it’s your responsibility to answer the call. It’s in this time that you come face-to-face in communion with God and He makes it clear what it is that you are to ask for and He comes to help you solve every problem that you face! And now this is where you learn to embrace and enjoy His Presence in the present moment!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Father I’m praying for a new direction in my mind and my thoughts. Father m, I’m choosing You over and over again. Father bring me back when I wander away, for my desire is to please You. Father this is my prayer and story every day for the rest of my life, I sought the Lord, and He moved my soul to seek Him, and in seeking Him, I found me and how my soul longs to commune with You! Father thank You for answering me while calling You, for I know that You are answering me and You are delivering me from all my fears and troubles, and I’m grateful! I just can’t thank You enough for everything that You do for me and my family. Father, continue to draw me closer to You, for I want You more than I want anything else. Father, I love You, I love You, I love You! In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Seek The Lord, He’s Listening Out For You!

Psalm 34:4 NKJV ~ “I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”

David who was a man after God’s heart wrote this Psalm! It was during one of the many times that he was being pursued by his enemies that he sought the Lord! Now David had witnessed God’s faithfulness on more than one occasion, and he had seen God work on his behalf before, but on this occasion, he was afraid, and he needed God to deliver him from his fears!

David sought the Lord regularly because in seeking God he was able to overcome his fear instantly! In this Psalm David tells us two things that God did for him, first God answered and secondly, God delivered him from all his fears! Have you ever wondered, does God hear your prayers? Yes, every time you seek Him, He hears you and He answers you! The God you serve hears your cry, He is listening to you, He is catching every single tear! God hears your prayers!

Psalm 17:6, “I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.” Expect God to be listening to you when you call Him! You will be amazed at how God answers your prayers when you seek Him! They are never the answer that you expect or have planned. You need to be grateful that God is a good Father and He bends down to listen to our prayers. He’s not like anyone else. God has your answer. Stop placing your burdens on others, you will not find relief in them, go right to the Burden-bearer, and tell Him about your troubles and believe that He is able and willing to meet all of your needs! When you repent, you can go straight to the foot of the cross, when you have faith in your crucified and risen Saviour, you will receive power through Him!

Throughout my life, I have prayed for so many things, some of which were important and while others, in hindsight, were less important. But as I look back, I am grateful that God didn’t always grant me my requests. (Can you be honest and say that?) If He had, I wouldn’t have found the joy I now have in my life! I wouldn’t not be where I am, I desire more of Him, just because I love Him! God answered my prayer in such a way that my life will never be the same. I look forward to seeking Him and spending time in His Presence. This is your place of transparency before God, He already knows. Seek Him! Surrender to Him! Be Submerged in His Presence! Let Him wash you with His Blood and His Word!

God will answer your prayers in such a way that only He could cause such a turn-around in your life! When you seek God, He will give you peace and joy and strength and courage. Then you are able to tell someone else how precious Jesus Christ is to you. You can say out loud and be sure “I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and He answered me and He precious to my soul.” Hebrews 4:16, “Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” You never have to be afraid of God, He just wants you to have reverence for Him, have confidence and believe that when you go to Him in prayer, you can rest assure that you can go fearless and boldly to the throne of Grace!

Father Thank You! Father, today I’m calling on You in prayer, and I will pray without ceasing, for this is what Your Word says, and I know that Your Word is true, and it will accomplish everything it set out to do. Father, I am grateful that I can come to You anytime I want and in any place! Father, I invite You to be with me everywhere I am, for I don’t want to be anywhere that You are not at! Thank You Father for loving me and for bending down and listen to me! Help me to remember how loved I am by You and that I can safely place all my fears into Your hands. Help me to trust You in all areas of my life, and to leave all of my cares in Your care. Father, today I will bring to You any and everything that will try to make me fearful and I’m going to lay it before You and seek You! For I am confident in this one thing, that when I sought You, You heard me and You answered me and You delivered me from all my fears, and I’m grateful that You worked every single thing out on my behalf for my good and You filled me with Your faith, hope and love. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Good Morning Sunshine! Be Constant! Be Consistent! Be Confident!

Romans 12:12 AMP ~ “constantly rejoicing in hope [because of our confidence in Christ], steadfast and patient in distress, devoted to prayer [continually seeking wisdom, guidance, and strength]”

Every day say this to yourself, it will keep you in a place of hope! Hope in God! Let the hope that you have in God, help you to be in constant and consistent in your prayer life!
Let the hope that you have in God causes you to live your life with great joy on the inside of you regardless of trials and circumstances that take place around you!

God’s promise is your sure foundation and the reason why you should have hope! Let your hope in God be stronger than anything that you are not sure about! Let the hope you have in Him be stronger than all of your fears. Let the hope you have in God propel you to rejoice! God wants to hear from your heart today. He wants to spend time with you, consistent time, not a drive bye or a quick minute, He wants time!

Today, if you are going through a rough season, give yourself some grace, for God has given you some. The Word says, “be patient in tribulation!” I know this is a difficult and different season that you are walking in, but be patient with yourself in this tribulation, it’s making you better. I know this is easier said than done, but you can do it with God’s help, trust it. Trust the Process of God! He’s in control, He can handle it, and remember His timing is not yours, His timing is perfect, and He does not make errors or mistakes, His plan is perfect! You can rest in God’s sovereignty and power! Just take it to God in prayer!

Be constant in your prayer life! So many times, we go hours into our day without stopping to pray to God, especially if things are going well, but let something happen, you can’t move quick enough to get on your knees in prayer. That is not constant prayer, that’s just going to Him because you have an urgent need or want!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying don’t go to Him in prayer when you have a need, you are supposed to go to Him at all times, but be consistent and constant in your prayer life which means you are with Him 24/7, and this is every season of your life, because the truth of the matter is when you are not constant in your prayers, you are missing out on the connection with your Father, and this is where your confidence lives!

You have been given the best gift ever, the ability to communicate with the God of this universe, there is nothing between you and Him but you! Surrender your will for His Will and take full advantage of this wonderful privilege that you have been given. No other thing that God created has this gift, but you do! Become constant and consistent, connected and confident in your prayer life and watch how you blossom!

Father, today I’m pressing into You like never before, increase Your joy and hope in me. Lord give me more patience in my tribulations. Father, draw me into a deeper prayer life with You, and deepen my desires to talk with You all throughout my day! In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!
