Numbers 6:23-26 ~ AMP “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them: [24] The LORD bless you, and keep you [protect you, sustain you, and guard you]; [25] The LORD make His face shine upon you [with favor], And be gracious to you [surrounding you with lovingkindness]; [26] The LORD lift up His countenance (face) upon you [with divine approval], And give you peace [a tranquil heart and life].”
It’s a brand-new day, a Monday that you have never seen before, sure you have seen a many of Monday’s before, but not this one! Yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not arrived yet, all you have is this present moment! Now what are you going to do with this brand-new day? You see the thing that bothered you yesterday, is gone, you get brand new mercy today and here is the proof of your new day, He is going to shine His countenance upon you!
Now that His Countenance is shining upon you, what are you going to do? What is your prayer today, since He has allowed you one more day? Here is how you should begin your day in prayer, “Father, thank You for inviting me into your day! It’s beautiful and I’m going to rejoice and be glad all the day long because of You. Father, thank You for keeping me and my family safe all through the night. I’m going to serve You now with all my might, from sunup to sundown. Amen! “
Your pray life should be the most important thing to you every morning. Start your day off with Jesus Christ before you do anything else and watch and see what kind of day you will have! When you start your day with Jesus, it propels you forward, it rids you of doubt and worry and now you can meet every deadline, make good decisions, and complete agendas, all because you started your day off right with God! When you choose God, He aligns everything and He makes every crooked place straight, just for you!
Today, focus on today, don’t plan out tomorrow or worry about it. God knows everything! Focusing on your new grace and new mercy will help you accomplish what you need to accomplish, and today will be your best day ever! For God says don’t worry about tomorrow for it will take care of itself, (Matthew 6:34), just concentrate on today and believe and have faith in Him! He got you!
Let’s Pray: Father, thank You! Father, this morning I will put all my trust and confidence in You. I pray that You will accomplish Your purpose in me today. Father, thank You for Your Grace and Mercy today. Thank You for never giving up on me and being consistent and constant. Father, please continue the good work that You have begun in me for Your Glory, for I know that Your Word and love will last long after this day because it’s never ending or changing, Your love is forever! In the Name of Jesus Christ Name. Amen!
1 Samuel 3:10b ~ “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
Have you ever thought that you heard someone calling your name? You looked around and asked did anyone call you, only to hear them so no, I didn’t call you! Then you heard it again and again and you got the same response!
Did you ever stop and think that God might be calling you? I know that you have talked with Him and now He’s speaking directly to you, don’t you know your Father’s voice when you hear it? (The Word say, “He goes before His sheep, and they know His voice and they won’t follow anyone else” ~John 10:4 paraphrased)
Today’s scripture was during the time when the Word of the Lord was rare and there were no visions to see! You had to just trust the Lord. And Samuel kept hearing his name called and he thought it was Eli. But, when Samuel was told it was the Lord speaking to Him, he was told to say, “Speak, Lord for your servant is listening!” Are you listening for the clarion call, He’s going to call you by your name!
Do you remember the cell phone slogan, “Can you hear me now?” The idea was to convince you that their company had the strongest signal and that none of your calls would drop! Think about this spiritually, there is no one that can speak to you like the Lord, the bars of plentiful, the signal is extra strong, His speech is impeccable, there is no error, it’s clear and concise, the issue is not can you hear Him, the question is are you listening closely for His voice today, and what His request is going to be and what will be your response?
Is your signal strong or weak when it comes to hearing what God is speaking to you? Are you faithful or faithless? Do you have a direct line open to connect with God or is it busy? If God were to call you right now, would you be listening and then respond by saying, speak Lord, or will He be saying to you, “Can you hear me now?”
Listen carefully for the voice of God, so when He calls you, you will know that’s Him and you will answer your Father and be ready to do what He says, the first time!
Let’s Pray: Father, Thank You! Thank You for speaking directly to me, Father I can hear You in the wind, the rain and the trees, You are a part of everything that I hear! Thank You for Your directions on what I need to do today. Father, speak with me and talk with me all throughout my day. Father, I love having fellowship with You, that’s why I’m going to praise and worship from the rising of the sun to the setting of the same sun! Father, speak to me, for Your servant is listening, waiting and wanting to please You today, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Amen!
Psalm 18:47-49 NIV ~” He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, [48] who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from a violent man you rescued me. [49] Therefore I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name.”
Today, God wants you to know that He is your rescuer from all things! God is your strength, or you can continue to rely on your strength and see where that gets you! Can you really deliver or avenge yourself? After all, you are the one that has to make the choice to let God have His Way in your life! It’s you or God! Is He your Righteous Judge? All you have to do is trust Him and He will take care of you, for vengeance belongs to Him! God will be exalted above anyone who tries to rise against you! This psalm is almost a duplicate of 2 Samuel 22. It is a song of praise to God for His glorious works and blessings of avenging and deliverance down through the years!
Today, God wants to work out everything on your behalf if you will just turn it over to Him and let Him have His Perfect Way! With this being said, you don’t have to avenge yourself when people hurt you, you don’t have to curse anyone, and don’t have to despise a plan to get even, God has got your back, He is your Avenger, He says that clearly in His Word, “Vengeance is Mine, “says the Lord! Trust and believe it, He’s got you when you turn it over to Him! Romans 12:19!
But out of all the things and people that God has delivered you from, the greatest of them all is from the penalty of sin and death, He did that when He sent His Son to die on the cross in your place, paying the price for your sins, God saved you from eternal damnation when He rose from the grave, given you His victory and power over the sin in your life! You should thank God, that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Why wouldn’t you let God be the Head of your life, who else could avenge and deliver you from others and from yourself?
Romans 12:19 KJV ~ “Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.” This verse has the power to set you free if you really want to be free! Trust God to take care of those that have hurt and wronged you! The Word of God says that you are to bless those who persecute you and do not repay them back for the evil that they have done to you! Your freedom and peace come from you trusting in Him!
Today, you have matured and grown in God, you have lost your desire to want to get even with those who hurt you, because you are able to pray for them and it shows that you trust God and His Word more than anything else! Now you can let go and relax in Him! Trust God to take care of you no matter what, even if you don’t see how He avenges and covers you, just know that He did it! Trust and believe His promise, Vengeance is the Lord’s and He will repay them!
Let’s Pray: Father, Thank You! Thank You for avenging me. Father I release every burden and hurt to You right now that I may walk in Your freedom and forgiveness! Please create in me a clean heart and renew Your right Spirit within me. Help me to walk freely in knowing that You are taking care of all things that concern me! Father, I know that You are true to Your Word, and I believe it! Thank You Father for all that you have done! Father, today, I worship and praise You, for You have avenged and delivered me! Thank You Father for my new heart and a new spirit that You have given me as I walk into my new destiny with You! All Praise to God, for You are my Deliverer! In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!
John 4:23-24 ~ “But the hour is coming and is now here when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
So many times, we are just going through the motions, not here nor there. But today I want you to put your emotions to the side and truly worship God! There is no audience, there is only One and His Name is Jesus! He’s waiting on you! Your authentic self, no pretense, no pretending. God is seeking those who will worship Him in Spirit and Truth! Let’s see what a true worshiper really is, and everything is that it’s not!
Are you a true worshiper or an emotional worshiper? If you are a believer, then you should be a true worshiper. For you don’t worship first in your body but you worship in the spirit. True worship is not based on how you feel about God, it’s based on what you know about God! The act of worship is not an outward expression, but it is an inward attitude that acknowledges that God is worthy to be praised and He deserves all the Honor and Glory due His Name as He the supreme authority over your life.
A true worshiper shows adoration for an audience of One! You are not concerned about being seen or heard by others. A true worshiper is on concerned with pleasing God and letting Him know that you know how Excellent He is. A true worshiper exalts God alone, for His pleasure only, because He alone is worthy to be praised! Jesus stated that true worshipers are those who worship in truth, in honesty and in sincerity of heart. (What is the posture of your heart?)
Do you know and believe that the Lord is Excellent? For the Word says, “O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.” Psalm 8:1! How excellent is your Name! Worship the Lord in all His Splendor today! He has blessed you with another beautiful, blessed day. When He touched you this morning and you arose to a brand-new day, did you say, “Thank You?” Do you see the dawning of a new day, the sun, “The Son” is shining brightly? God created everything around you as a gift for you! The beauty of this day is just for you, the sun and the rain, the grass and the trees, the birds and the bees, the fields and flowers and the people around you, is His gift of love to be enjoyed by you!
True worshipers are believers “born of the Spirit.” So, ask yourself this question, have you been born again? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Do you love Him? John 3:3-8, you must be, you’ve got to be born of the Spirit, for this is the only way that you can worship Him in the Spirit! If you know Him, you will follow Him and you will know His voice over every other noise that you hear today? John 10:1-5! As a true worshiper you live to worship God, not in the flesh in but the Spirit, because God’s Spirit lives on the inside of you and you belong to Jesus Christ!
To worship God in spirit and in truth, is to declare that God is worthy of your reverence. When your worship to God is based on the truth of who He is, it reveals the truth of who you are at your core of your heart, and it inclines you to be surrendered to Him and in total submission to Him and His Ways! When you are a true worshiper of God your attitudes, actions, and words declare that He is worthy of your praise. “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelations 5:12!
As you worship God today, His Anointing and Favor and Wisdom and Peace and Power and Love is reign down from heaven above just for you! Now, what are you going to do to show God that you appreciate this day, these precious moments in time? You should offer Him your worship and praise, no matter what comes your way today, it’s still a beautiful day, because He allow you to be here, somebody didn’t get this gift today! For the time is now when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. So be grateful for another day to bask and to worship your Father in all His Excellency today! For He inhabits the praises of His children, and that is you!
Let’s Pray: Thank You Father! My Heavenly Father, I worship You and adore You with my whole heart, mind soul and strength. I love You, Almighty God, there is none like You. I give You praise for You are my righteousness. Father, fill me today with Your Holy Spirit! Father, I bless Your Name for cleansing my soul with Your Blood, my soul cries Glory Hallelujah and Thank You Jesus for being the Lamb! Father, guard my mind and put Your sweet savor on my lips, that I will speak what You tell me. Let Your healing virtue flow through my body and organs today and let them function the way You designed it! Thank You for shielding and sustaining me with Your joyful peace, in the Name of Jesus, Amen!
Hebrews 13:5b NIV ~ “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
Are you feeling all alone in what you are facing? God is closer than you may think. He fills heaven and earth; He is not a God who is far away. He knows every detail of what you are facing and all that is coming down the road and He cares. Yea, I know that it seems hard to believe but God is close to you even when everything around you seems to say otherwise. God isn’t a distant God! You are closer than you think! Jesus is coming back! The truth of God’s here-ness and nearness is punctuated throughout Scripture.
Though it may seem like God is a million miles away from you, He’s really not, as a matter of fact, He’s closer than you think. He hears your cries, He knows your thoughts, and He sees you right where you’re at. You are loved and noticed by your Heavenly Father. There is nowhere that you can be that your Father isn’t already there first. In Psalm 139:7-10, the Word says, “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.” So, as you can see, He’s always right there!
The same Word that God gave Moses and Joshua is still true today and it’s for you too, you just have to believe it, Deuteronomy 31:6, 8 and Joshua 1:5, He will never ever leave you nor forsake you, Hebrews 13:5b. Have you ever heard this saying before, “when you feel far from God, it’s not God that moved, it was you!” There is nowhere you can go to get away from His presence, and i mean nowhere! Do you want to know how to feel connected to God constantly, practice praising and praying and be ever mindful of His Presence! For it is with a thankful heart that you worship God, and you acknowledge His Presence is in all areas of your life. It’s as simple as one, two, three, you are to dance to the rhythm of God’s rhythm! Pursuing the Presence of God is the constant awareness of His Presence and being attentive to His Will, Way and His Works!
There is no place you can go to get away from God’s Presence. Be thankful for that! Be thankful that He is with you! “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39! In spite of what you are going through, you are not alone! God is closer than you think. He fills heaven and earth; He is not a God who is far away.
Jeremiah 23:23-24 “Am I a God at hand,” declares the Lord, “and not a God far away? Can a man hide himself in secret places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord, “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. He knows every detail of what you are facing and all that is coming down the road and He cares for you. God also knows that there are some lessons that can only be learned through the darkroom experiences and dancing in the rain, and as you go through it, you will learn that those experiences made all the difference in who and what you are called to do! And this verse in Jeremiah sums it up, by letting you know that you couldn’t hide from God even if you wanted to!
God sees all that you are going through and believe me He cares more than you can possibly imagine! God’s love for you goes beyond your what you see or hear, or understand because His Word is unchanging, unfailing and unconditional. May His Grace and Mercy supersede and exceeds your comprehension! God is closer to you and your situation than you think! He loves you and He cares and if you ask, He will give you all the wisdom and understanding that you need. The only answers in life that you can fully trust are those you find when you fully rely on God to lead and direct you! Don’t try going it alone! Today, I want to encourage you to embrace His desire to walk with you through all that you face in life whether you are on the mountain top or in the valley, He’s with you in both places and He never misses a step!

Father, I am so thankful that You are with me today and every day. Open my spiritual eyes to see You, and my ears to hear You and my heart to sense Your Presence at all times. Father, I am so grateful that I don’t have to hide anything from You and that I don’t have to hide my fears, my hurts and or my heartfelt longings from You. Thank You that You welcome me just as I am and You want me to share my heart freely with You, so I don’t have to pretend or be anyone or anything else! Father God, I am so grateful that I am Your child and I know that no matter what happens, my identity as your child will never change. Father, thank You for choosing me and calling me Your royal priesthood! Thank you, Father, for the work that You did on the Cross so that I may an eternal identity. Father thank You for clothing in a new, clean, and pure garment of salvation. Father as I seek to have a closer relationship with You, I will spend time with You and in Your Word so that I can see what’s in Your heart for me and You can see what’s in my heart for You! Father, this day I want nothing more than to have a closer relationship with You and I want my relationship to grow stronger and stronger in You and Your Word, so that I will know without a shadow of a doubt that You are with me and that You never have left me alone and You never will. In the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen!
1 Peter 4:12-13 NIV ~ “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. [13] But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.”
Life is not about waiting for the rain to stop; it’s about learning to dance while it’s raining! No one is exempt from going through the storm and rain! Paul is the perfect idea of going through the storm, Paul was a prisoner, who learned how to dance while he was in the storm and rain, and guess what, this didn’t catch God by surprise, He knew exactly what Paul had to face. God knows exactly what you have to face! Here’s the point, Paul was in this place because God sent him! You are in this place because God is sending you there!
The rain did not catch God by surprise. God knows what He is doing in your life and it’s high time that you pay attention to what He’s doing, on purpose! You are not in this place by accident nor coincidence! God knew that you needed a little rain today! Nothing can grow without being watered! If anyone ever tries to tell you anyone tries to tell you that you are exempt from storms and rain, they are flat out lying to you and the truth is not in them!
Again, I say the rain that is pouring in your life has not taken God by surprise. The bottom line is, God wants you to dance in the rain! He wants you to have a thankful heart no matter what your circumstances you may be facing. The Word of God says to “give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)!
I know that it can be hard to thank God when life is hard, when your career is not going like you want, when you get a less than favorable report from the doctor or one of your loved one’s go home to be with the Lord, plus a host of other events and life experiences that are happening all at the same time; I know it seems hard to have a thankful heart in the midst of this, but this is not me nor man telling you to be thankful, but this is God, and He is telling you in His Word to give thanks in and for everything! To dance and sing praises unto Him, for He is Worthy to be praised!
The purpose of your suffering is to prove your true character, and to clear away the dross of sin and to allow the pure nature of Jesus Christ to show itself in and through you. Romans 5:3-5! As a Christians you should expect and prepare for suffering, for the Word of God has told you that there would be trials and tribulations that you have to go through; “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33. So you might as well put on your dancing shoes praise and dance your way through the rain, knowing that a brighter day lid ahead of you!
As you learn to dance in the rain, you are going to need to know these four things in order to be triumphant as go through it: (1) you must expect it, (2) you must rejoice in it, (3) you must evaluate its reason and (4) you must entrust it to God! Put all of your trust in Him, acknowledge Him, and do not lean on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6! Don’t think that something strange is happening to you. As Child of the Most-High King, you must not think that what you are going through is something that happening by accident. God allowed it and designed it for your testing, purging, and cleansing process!
When you learn to give thanks in and for everything, it’s all about your obedience, doing what God says to do even though you don’t understand it, you just simply trust Him! This is what it means to give a sacrifice of praise, to thank and praise God when it just doesn’t make sense, but you know that your act of obedience honors God more than anything! The Word tells you in James 1:2-4, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” This is what God meant when He said all things will work out for your good, Romans 8:28! Today, let loose and dance in the rain, for the sun (Son) will shine forth as the bright and morning Glory of God!
Let’s Pray: Father Thank You! Thank You for blessing me with this day! Father, strengthen and guide me and prepare me for whatever may come along my path today. Father, show me how to dance in the rain and to be thankful while I dance! Father, help me to rejoice in the midst of the storm, knowing that this is not my end, but it’s my place of processing and purpose! In this rain I Thank You Father, that Your Joy and peace is my strength and I choose to dance right in the midst of it! Father, I Thank You for each season of rain and the gift of Grace that you gave me to keep going, for I know that it was You that gave me what I needed to endure it and because I was obedient, You blessed me unique blessings that could only come from You! Thank You Father, “You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, [12] That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Psalm 30:11-12 AMP! Thank You for Your Rain, may You Reign in my life forever and ever. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
1 Corinthians 7:35 AMP ~ “Now I say this for your own benefit; not to restrict you, but to promote what is appropriate and secure undistracted devotion to the Lord.”
I wrote this devotional 1 year ago and it is still just as relevant today as it was then! Also, according to the Word of God there is nothing new under the sun! Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.”
There is a song by Tasha Cobbs, called Dove’s Eyes and it is so powerful! So, let’s look at the Dove’s Eyes. The doves can only focus on one thing at a time, both eyes are synchronized to see only one thing, they cannot see anything else, there is no distractions. Now let’s look at your two eyes, we can see so many different things all at the same time and sometimes because of this we get distracted, but not the Dove.
I saw a post on Facebook the other day about our natural eyes, here’s what they said; “They blink together, move together, cry together, see things together & sleep together.” Does this sound like togetherness, no distractions, they are one! I know that this scripture falls right in the middle of Paul talking about being married and unmarried. But oh my God, what would your life be like if you gave your undivided attention to God? It would definitely be for your good!
Have you ever been distracted before? You were looking at one thing and then you saw something else so you had to re-focus, so that you could see clearly. (This happens when ware distracted, or you are trying to do too many things at one time.) It’s time to settle yourself down. I realized in my own life, that in order to have undistracted devotion to God, you must first live a surrendered life to Him. (James 4:7 and Matthew 16:24-27). Undistracted devotion will not work in an undisciplined life!
So, the first thing you need to realize and know is that you it would mean that are distracted, next you need to identify what your distractions are and finally you have to ask God to help you get rid of them so that you can see exactly what God wants you to see and worship Him with your full attention, undistracted! Let’s look at the eyes of a Dove again, they have two eyes just like you, but they can only see one thing at a time. This is called Binocular Vision, it’s where both eyes are synchronized to produce a single image, now that’s undistracted devotion! Lord, help us focus like this!
When you are distracted, you can be in the right place, but you are making the wrong decision or you can be connected to the wrong people and God wants you to walk away, but because you are distracted you made the wrong decision. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you some Godly wisdom so that you can Release the distractions and Remove it and them out of your life. Then ask Him to Recapture and Rekindle you as He Catapults you into Worship with Him!
Now that you are desiring to live a disciplined life without distractions in your way, in your prayer and worship time, you can see clearly like the Dove, how and what you see has become a part of your lifestyle. Now you are more aware of your Father’s Presence and your awareness is going to lift you to higher heights with Him, because all that matters in this moment is Him and the more of Him you see, the more of Him. You desire to live this life, in His Presence 24/7!
Now this is your daily prayer, Psalm 27:4 says it this way: “One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.” This is what undistracted devotion to God looks like, you want to gaze upon His beauty and love, and you want to linger and live at His Presence forever!
The Time is Now for you to be catapulted forward, in the words of my friend, No Looking Back! There is no going back, period! You know that you have been wanting more of the Word of God, now you can have it, hear it, heed it and walk in it! It’s Time to Move out, not just in word but indeed! It’s time to focus, all of your attention on God and where He’s catapulting you and, in this season and you cannot afford to be distracted! God wants to reveal His revelation to you so that you may understand your purpose and you can only get this by being in His Presence, in undistracted devotion to Him!
Today, my prayer for you is that you will be catapulted into undistracted worship and devotion with God! Catapulted means to move suddenly or at great speed as though hurled by a catapult! I pray that you get so caught up with Him, that you don’t know where the time started or stopped, you are in total worship with Him! God has catapulted you to another level because of your dedication in your devotion to Him!
Let’s Pray: Father, Thank You! Father today I hunger and thirst for undistracted time with You, I want to bask in Your Presence! Father, give me eyes like a dove, that I may see with a singular devotion and focus, that I may see clearly the splendor, beauty and wonder of You. Father, keep me from the distractions that I see with my natural eyes! Father, I am actively seeking to be so close to the You, to live a fully devoted, attentive, responsive and disciplined life, and that I may know what You are calling me to do, every year, month, day, and minute because I live in devotion You! Father, I desire undistracted devotion with You. Father, recapture me, and rekindle Your Fire in me and catapult me into a well of undistracted worship with You! In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!

Re-read today’s verses, it’s telling you that God is calling you and that should inspire you and give you hope for your future, to know that your Father is calling you and has secured your inheritance. Because God has called you, you don’t have to wonder about your life, just know that His great power is at work in you!
There are three things I want you to do today:
First, I want you to have hope in what God has called you to do!
Secondly, I want you to know and understand the place that you are in right now is God’s plan and that you are not your own, you belong to Him!
Thirdly, I want you to recognize His Power that is at work in your life and that His Power is transforming you into what He called you to be and His Power is going to enable you to complete whatever assignment He gives you!
Your Father is enlightening you and all you need to do is pray and put all your hope in Him, this is your sure inheritance!
Let’s Pray: Father, I pray that the eyes of my understanding and heart be opened and enlightened. I thank You for the exceedingly great things that You are going to do for me today. I thank You for Your amazing Power that is at work in me and I have put all of my hope in You! Nothing else matters except for You and what You want! Everything is for Your Glory. In the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Exodus 14:14 ~ “The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
How are you really doing mentally and emotionally?
Have there been times where it seems liked you were fighting the same battles mentally and emotionally over and over again at the same? This can be exhausting, daily one battle after another battle and each one leaves you more exhausted than the one before!
What is your next move? Your next move is to move out of the way and let God do His job! Your only job right now is, To Be STILL! You have to let go of where you are now and rest in where you are going next! It’s time to embrace the Word of God, “Be Still and know that He is God”, Psalm 46:10!
When you really get tired of fighting, you will be still and the more you say this verse out loud to yourself, the better you will get. The LORD will fight for you (make it personal); you need only to be still; but you have to make this your personal declaration, “The LORD will fight for me; when I become still.” The more you meditate on God’s Word, the more you can see yourself and how you have been getting in your own way and in the way of what God wants to do in you and through you!
Can I ask you a question? How much are you carrying today? If I am being honest with you, sometimes I had carried stuff that was not even mine, I was weighing myself out with Stu that I should have never picked up in the first place. Now how much stuff are you carrying? Is it stressing you out and instead of you just saying no, you just kept piling on the weight, and complaining about how heavy it is. But you wouldn’t stop and be still and now you are tired! I know that we have all done this so many times before.
I would be striving and struggling to be in places that I should have never gone, trying to make what once was, what’s now, I’ve been holding onto thoughts in my heart and mind that are really not there! Free your mind and embrace the release the Spirit of God!
It’s time to be still so that you can hear God, even if you have to ask Him again to tell you, don’t let fear or pride stop you from asking your Father to tell you again what you need to do and when you get quiet and still, He will speak to you. You just have to make but be sure that you really want the answer to the questions that you are asking Him!
So many times, you have asked God for an answer and when He answered you, you didn’t take heed because it wasn’t the answer you wanted, but it was the answer that you needed! Remember your Father knows exactly what you need, He knows better than you, however He’s not going to force you or make you do anything, you have to lay your want down to receive His Will!
No more going back, no more why me! God is going to strengthen you supernaturally in this next “Still” season! Don’t worry you have not lost any ground and your hold is being tightened so be still, stop thinking about where you should be in this moment and live in moment where you are right now! Put your mind at ease and rest, knowing that God’s Presence is present with you right here and right now!
In stillness lies your strength! Release the burdens, cast all of your cares on Him, Matthew 11:28; your shoulders were not made for this, relax the Lord will fight your battles, just don’t you get weary in doing what is right! God loves making a way in your life, after all the battle actually belongs to the Him anyway! Do you know what’s the best thing for you to do right now, Be Still, Strong and Sure and Believe the Truth of God’s Word! We you learn how to turn over your trust to God’s truth, it will lift off what was weighing you down and now you can be still, because it’s hard to be still when you are weighed down!
This is what I have learned over the years as I have gotten closer to my Father, you will not, become the man or woman that you are meant to be without times of stillness and quietness! In order to embrace the Presence of God, you must enter into a place of solitude (alone time) and stillness, just you and Him. Quietness and Stillness are two very important things that you must have in your physical, emotional and spiritual life, it helps you grow as you grow!
Let’s Pray: Thank You Father for keeping me! Father, today I’m releasing every burden that I’ve been holding on to, (even the ones I never mention)! I’ve given it to You and then I have taken it back, no more, it’s all Yours! I no longer want to or have the capacity to worry and carry this weight, it has held me back to long! May the gift of God’s Grace overpower any feelings that you may have had about yourself that is not like Him! Father may Your Grace be used to do a deep healing in my heart as You fights for me! Father, please forgive me for trying to fight this battle in my own strength, for I now that I do not have the strength nor power. But I do know that I can do all things through You and when I learn to leave it alone, take my mind and mouth off of it and Be Still, You will fight for me! Father, You are my All in All, my covering, my protection, my sustainer, my keeper and my provider! Father, Thank You for Your Mercy and Grace that You give; I trust You to guide and grow me In Jesus Christ Name. Amen!
2 Peter 1:12 NIV ~ “So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.”
There are three words that I’m going to give you the definition for, remind, remember and establish, get them in your heart and spirit.
What does remind mean? To put in mind of something, a cause to remember.
What is remember? It means to be able to bring to one’s mind an awareness of something that has been experienced or seen in the past. Do you see how remind and remember go hand in hand.
What does establish mean? to make firm or stable; to cause to grow and multiply; to confirm, to strengthen.
To remember is to remind and to think about it and to not forget! To become established, to be firm, to grow and to be strengthened! Remembering starts in your mind and is filtered through your words and sometimes you shout it from the mountain top, or you as quiet as a lamb, either way, you act according to what you remember! Isn’t this awesome to put the Word of God on the inside of you and when you need it, He brings it back to your mind and you can remember that you have been rooted and established in the Word of God!
When you hear the same thing repeated over and over, it gets in your mind and spirit and this is crucial for you, because you need to always remember what “Thus said the Lord!” Hearing this should never get old, as a matter of fact, the more you hear it the better you are! When you hear that you are established in the Word and that you have faith, the stronger you become! Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV ~ “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, [17] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, [19] and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
The more you hear that Jesus loves you, the more you are able to receive and give love, John 3:16! The more you experience favor from God, the surer you become in believing that God provides all of your needs! The more you receive healing from God, the more you depend on Him for comfort and rest! You see the more you hear about God, the greater your memory gets and now you have something in your mind to pull from when you need it! Now you can recall a memory of the Word, which is, you can remember how good God has been to you!
Every day you learn something about God that develops into a memory, and He makes every effort to see that you will always be able to remember who He is, because He is I Am, That I Am (Exodus 3:14) and He’s everywhere at the same time! What is God trying to bring back to your remembrance that you have not done? Today is the day, to make haste and do what has given you to do, ask Him to bring it back to your mind that you may remember, I know that He may have reminded you before, but He loves you and He will do it again if you are sincere and ready to do just what He has said!
God is a Keeper if you want to be kept. He will bring everything back to your remembrance for your good and His Glory, 2 Peter 1:13-15, ~ “I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, ¹⁴ because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. ¹⁵ And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.” The closer you get to God, the closer He gets to you! He makes every effort to remind you that His Word is there and that His Word is true!
Proverbs 16:3 ~ “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Before you do anything, before you say anything, commit yourself to God and every thought you think today, every thought will be Established by God!” Now your first thoughts will be God, second thought God and so forth, everything you do, your work will be Holy Spirit lead which determines your success for this day. Trusting totally in God and not in yourself or on your situation and every plan you make today you will succeed because your thoughts were established in God.

Father, Thank You! Thank You for bringing what I need to do today back to the forefront of my mind! Father, Thank You for always remembering me and keeping me! Father I will always remember You and Your Word, for I delight in Your Will, Ways and Word! Father, continue to pour in me Your Word and Wisdom so that I will always have something to build a memory upon while remembering just how good You have been to me. Father, You are a Great God and every day You get Greater and Greater! In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
