Good Morning Constant One!

Romans 12:12 ESV ~ “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”

The word constant doesn’t mean that every minute of the day that you are praying, but it does mean that you need to be persist in prayer every day!

Being persistent helps you to persevere in it! It’s in this place that you learn how to not give up or slack off. God is calling you to make prayer a regular part of your life, you are to treat prayer the way you treat breathing, let it happen, it’s a natural part of you and your life! God made you to be constant in prayer.

Being constant in prayer is not a hit or miss thing, you do it on purpose! As you become more constant in your prayer life, God teaches you how to rejoice in hope, how to be patient when you are going through life’s journey, He teaches you how to be constant and steadfast, immovable, always abounding in His Work, and learning that your labor is not in vain, (1Corinthians 15:58), because whatever you do for the Lord will last! God is ready and available to help you at any moment because He loves helping His children out!

But when you don’t make time to spend with Him, you are dishonoring Him! Your prayer time should not be a fly by kind of moment, you need to do it intentionally and to pay attention while you are in prayer! Listen to your Father as you sit still and quiet before Him. He wants to speak to you! I’m sure that you give your key relationships time and attention, sometimes you give them too much attention, (just let that thought simmer in your mind.) Just know that the thing you feed the most is what will grow and what you starve, will die out! Don’t starve your prayer life, because your life depends on it!

God is calling you to a life of discipline and devotion to Him, a life of regular planned time with Him in prayer. Thanking Him and Praising Him for who He is, and Thanking Him for what He has done, and asking Him for help for what He is going to do! You must be constant in prayer in this year that it may carry over to your next new year! Ask God to help you! Resolve in your heart and mind to make this happen. Plan the time and the place that you will sit still and commune with your Father who art in Heaven! Make this place special! This is your place of sustaining and keeping!

God is a Keeper if you want to be kept! And He is the one constant that you can depend on day in and day out and everything in between! His Word says, “The LORD will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O LORD, endures forever—Do not abandon the works of Your own hands.” Psalm 138:8! This Psalm is a promise from God just for you, make it your prayer today! (Make it personal)!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father, Thank You for another day, one that I have never seen before and one that I will never see again. Help me to be constant in my time of prayer with you. Father, this morning I come to You with all my hope, trust and confidence in You. I pray that You will accomplish Your purpose in me today, Father, thank You for loving me, for I know that You have loved me from the beginning, and I know that Your love will always be with me every single day!  Father, Your love will last long after I am gone from this place, because it’s never ending or changing, Your love is forever!!! Father, thank You for intervening with Your Grace and Mercy when I face difficulties and challenges today. Thank You for never giving up on me but being constant source of Power. Father, help me to be constant and consistent in my prayer life! Father, please continue to work and finish the good things that You have begun in me for Your Glory in Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.

Good Morning Sunshine, It’s Time To Rise And Pray!

Lamentations 2:19 NIV~ “My eyes fail from weeping, I am in torment within; my heart is poured out on the ground because my people are destroyed, because children and infants faint in the streets of the city. [19] Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children, who faint from hunger at every street corner.”

Sometimes you just have to repeat something that has been said. As I was preparing another devotion, this one fell in my spirit. It’s Time to rise and pray, our children lives depend on the prayers we pray today!

Yesterday we talked about what your Inheritance is, now today I want to talk about your seed (children)! What Legacy or Inheritance are you leaving them? What have you taught them about the Word of God? We make our children go to school every day, whether they want to or not and then for Bible Study and Worship we give them the option to stay home, you say that you need a “Me Day” guess what, “Worship and Bible Study” or off limits for your “Me Day!” While you are having a “Me Day”, our children are fainting and dying in the streets! (I’m not trying to be harsh; I’m just want you hear me.)

Most of us had a parent or grandmother that drugged you to church, and I mean literally drugged you kicking and screaming, (I was one of them, now I’m so thankful that my grandmother did that and then she made me drag mines to church also)! I’m so grateful that I was drugged to church, I didn’t have an option or an opinion, I was going and that was final, Proverbs 22:6, Train them Up! Now we don’t make them go to church, we call that their rest day, but we make them go to school on Monday. How many of you had the same experience growing up, you didn’t have a choice, you were going and that was it. What has happened, our children and grandchildren need us to Arise and Pray for them, their lives depend on it and so does yours! We will stand in line for $300.00 tennis shoes for them, but we don’t want to stay in church and prayer for them for 30 minutes. We have got to do better; our children need to know that there is a Risen Savior and He came to save redeem them and give them hope and a better future!

These times that we live in are not a grin and bear it kind of minute, God is waiting to talk with you, you are being called to the Altar to Pray, listen to your children crying. You can’t continue to ask others to cry out for your children when you are not praying and crying for them! Jeremiah was a weeping prophet; he had cried so much that he cried his eyes dry over the children that were fainting and being slain in the streets!

I am begging you to cry out for your children in prayer during the night watches, (6pm, 9pm, 12 midnight, 3am, and 6am) we need to cover and tear down all the enemy’s camps and plans that he’s trying to us to destroy our children in this season. Pray for every decoy and roadblock and Plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over them, so that they can have a future!

It’s Time to Pray! No more procrastination, this is times, thief! You can’t delay any longer, it’s to dangerous now! All of this is workings of the enemy! For the Holy Ghost, says “Today, if you hear his voice, harden not your heart! “It is never too soon to pray, after all you are to be praying without ceasing!

Let’s Pray:
Thank You Father! Father, I lift up my hands and heart to You in prayer. Father, teach me how to pray for our children, they need You! Father I’m forever grateful that You have shown me what’s more important than leaving my children tangible things that are temporary and giving them Your Word and instructions, which is eternal! Father, I want to leave my children a Spiritual Maintenance Inheritance Plan to teach them what’s more important, and that they may have wisdom, discernment, discipline, and dignity and that they will know who they are in You and how valuable they are to You! In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!

Good Morning Seeking One!

Jeremiah 29:12-14a NIV ~ “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. [13] You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. [14] I will be found by you,” declares the LORD”

Doesn’t this scripture make your heart leap when you hear it?  God is offering you an invitation to seek Him with all of your heart, to hear the cry of His heart. So, what will your response be today?

God is inviting you into a sacred place with Him, into His Presence; but you have to have a desire to  go there, that you may experience God for yourself, there you will find strength there you will find your covering, there you will find your joy, there you will find your peace, it’s there that you will find the best thing it’s God’s heart! In this place you cannot live in what others have to say about their experience with God, you must experience it for yourself, Psalm 27:8 ~ “ When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.” You have to learn how to get into God’s Presence for yourself, your life depends on it!

God has designed your heart to seek His heart, He put this into motion before you ever existed, He pursued you in order for you to pursue Him. Seek the face of God in prayer, the place where your heart is safe, a place where you can rejoice in His presence daily and hear His voice, He is your strength and the lover of your soul! When you truly want God and you seek after Him with all of your heart, you will find Him and He says, He will be found by you!

Let’s Pray
Thank You Father for the gift of seeking You. Father, I arise today and cry out to You, I am seeking You and I will continue to seek You Lord with all of my heart until I find You. I will not give up, I believe in Your goodness Lord, and I’m going wait right here until I have heard and seen the Your Face LORD. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen and Amen!!!
