Good Morning Obedient One!

Hebrews 5:8 NKJ ~ “though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered.”

Have you ever been preparing to go somewhere and you thought that you had packed everything that you needed only to leave home and be missing the most important thing and you can’t go back and get it, because you are already late and you have to be there on time? What do you do, you suffer in silence, knowing that you will be okay even though it hurts, but you become quiet and obedient, and you sit there and not argue or fuss, you don’t even try to negotiate or reason it out, you have just learned how to be obedient in your suffering!

Jesus Christ never sinned, He exposed Himself to weakness and was obedient in His suffering to show you how to live like Him and not sin! You do know that it is possible to learn obedience through your suffering without sinning being the result of your suffering! Sometimes a thing can come into your life, and you will be wondering what happened and how did you get here? And sometimes you may not have done anything, but God wants you to learn a lesson so that you can have a testimony to share with someone else!

Have you felt the calling and pulling of God lately, He wants to lead you to something new, and He already knows the outcome and whether you will be obedient or not! If Jesus, who was a perfect being, who never sinned had to learn a lesson, then you know that you who was born into this sinful nation must learn a lesson too! In your suffering, you will learn how to live an obedient life! You will learn to trust in the goodness and the love of God, you will learn how to trust Him in all things, not just the good, but in the bad you will trust in Him! Do you want me to tell you how I know this, His Word says it, Romans 8:28, “He works all things out for your good, when you love Him, and He does it on purpose!” Bad things do happen, but they are included in the “all things” God will work it out for our good and His Glory!

Today, you have two paths to choose from to walk you can obey or disobey. What path will you choose? God is offering you an opportunity of a lifetime and it’s simple, obey Him and do as He says and He will be your God and guide; or you can choose to refuse Him again and continue to go your own way, it’s up to you! However, obedience to your Heavenly Father, leads to blessing from your Heavenly Father and the favor of the Lord will be upon your life!

Let’s Pray:
Father, I Thank You that I am Your child, and as Your child I choose to follow Your leading and instructions, today and every day. Please strengthen me that I may obey Your Word daily for the rest of my life. Father, I know that You already know what will happen next in my life, so today I choose to follow to You and be obedient to what You say, I will not try to negotiate with You, I know that You know best! I am Yours and You are my Father! I know that all of my blessings are through You and my obedience! In Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen!

Blessings…
Minister Jean
