Good Morning Sunshine! God Has Established You! 

2 Peter 1:12 NIV ~ “So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.”

There are three words that I’m going to give you the definition for, remind, remember and establish, get them in your heart and spirit.

  1. What does remind mean? To put in mind of something, a cause to remember. 
  2. What is remember? It means to be able to bring to one’s mind an awareness of something that has been experienced or seen in the past. Do you see how remind and remember go hand in hand.
  3. What does establish mean? to make firm or stable; to cause to grow and multiply; to confirm, to strengthen. 

To remember is to remind and to think about it and to not forget! To become established, to be firm, to grow and to be strengthened! Remembering starts in your mind and is filtered through your words and sometimes you shout it from the mountain top, or you as quiet as a lamb, either way, you act according to what you remember! Isn’t this awesome to put the Word of God on the inside of you and when you need it, He brings it back to your mind and you can remember that you have been rooted and established in the Word of God! 

When you hear the same thing repeated over and over, it gets in your mind and spirit and this is crucial for you, because you need to always remember what “Thus said the Lord!” Hearing this should never get old, as a matter of fact, the more you hear it the better you are! When you hear that you are established in the Word and that you have faith, the stronger you become! Ephesians 3:16-19 NIV ~ “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, [17] so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, [19] and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

The more you hear that Jesus loves you, the more you are able to receive and give love, John 3:16! The more you experience favor from God, the surer you become in believing that God provides all of your needs! The more you receive healing from God, the more you depend on Him for comfort and rest! You see the more you hear about God, the greater your memory gets and now you have something in your mind to pull from when you need it! Now you can recall a memory of the Word, which is, you can remember how good God has been to you! 

Every day you learn something about God that develops into a memory, and He makes every effort to see that you will always be able to remember who He is, because He is I Am, That I Am (Exodus 3:14) and He’s everywhere at the same time! What is God trying to bring back to your remembrance that you have not done? Today is the day, to make haste and do what has given you to do, ask Him to bring it back to your mind that you may remember, I know that He may have reminded you before, but He loves you and He will do it again if you are sincere and ready to do just what He has said! 

God is a Keeper if you want to be kept. He will bring everything back to your remembrance for your good and His Glory, 2 Peter 1:13-15, ~ “I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body, ¹⁴ because I know that I will soon put it aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me. ¹⁵ And I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things.” The closer you get to God, the closer He gets to you! He makes every effort to remind you that His Word is there and that His Word is true! 

Proverbs 16:3 ~ “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Before you do anything, before you say anything, commit yourself to God and every thought you think today, every thought will be Established by God!” Now your first thoughts will be God, second thought God and so forth, everything you do, your work will be Holy Spirit lead which determines your success for this day. Trusting totally in God and not in yourself or on your situation and every plan you make today you will succeed because your thoughts were established in God.

Father, Thank You! Thank You for bringing what I need to do today back to the forefront of my mind! Father, Thank You for always remembering me and keeping me! Father I will always remember You and Your Word, for I delight in Your Will, Ways and Word! Father, continue to pour in me Your Word and Wisdom so that I will always have something to build a memory upon while remembering just how good You have been to me. Father, You are a Great God and every day You get Greater and Greater! In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
